Trading restrictions sucks as well as Black Desert Online.
Obvious he was never in this situation before, or never think that there are many different kind of players.
BTW really they should remove monsters from maps because it will prevent botters from botting and RMT and blah blah blah.
I just think youâre too close minded, sure this all requires change and is work for IMC but they could add a feature similair to Tera where if people are online they can open up window with them and make an offer which the seller could refuse or accept. Iâm no rmt / ex-rmtâer, but itâd be a big improvement.
And please, saying ânothing worksâ is just not true.
So, how does your method exactly stop the rmt except troubling the players? They can still sell the silver whenever they want even without market.
One immediate idea is sharing silver while botting or provide botting service.
The more you patch their method, the more the dev is troubling the player.
The good way to stop rmt without troubling the player is to directly eliminate rmt, or severely punish the player who deal with rmt. For each method they restrict, it will only cause more problem to the players than rmt.
Stop getting salty over your empty words or methods that simply have no impact on the situation. Of course people will disagree when the methods trouble them and simply donât work.
Handouts are not required to enjoy the game with friends. Iâm not saying everyone who co-ops falls into this category, but new players shouldnât feel entitled to gear and items just because of friend status, if you want to help your friends, help them farm stuff with them, thatâd be way more memorable than just handing it off to them to begin with.
Lemme tell you how good that worked for BnS, it didnât at all.
What method are you referring to?
Anyway, rmt will always be there if the dev or gm is lazy.
You shouldnât tell us what we should or shouldnât do with our friends. It is not your call, you have no rights for it. Restrict yourself if you want to, but not everyone else.
If you decide not to help your friends thatâs none of my business.
Requesting people be constructive instead of whine is salty? Here have some cheese with your whine.

I am fine with having a few restrictions here and there, but too much of them and people/players will get sick of it. We should find a middle ground (read my previous post) where both players and the developers can be comfortable with - which unfortunately ToS currently does not have.
You are either misunderstanding everything that Iâm trying to say or youâre extremely close minded. You seem upset at new players for some reason. Nobody is feeling entitled to gear and items from their friends. Itâs the friendâs desire to help their new buddies by willingly giving them things that they might need. Why are you so salty about this?
Of course, and this thread is about said happy medium. But the point remains, it needs to be effective or people just feel punished.
This again? I donât think you understand what constructive means. I donât think I can speak to you seriously spouting things like this.
Hey people disagree with my points they must be either closed minded or throwing comments that are not constructive!
This isnât a thread about people agreeing or disagreeing, this is about combatting RMT and how itâs recommended. Therefore, you have added nothing constructive.
Let me define it for you since you obviously donât get it.
Should you have your way, this is what I expect to see, hey look guys, IMC is gonna open up trading, this was posted like 20 minutes ago. You same people will be here whining all day about that instead when this is every map in the game.
How is having bot in âevery map in the gameâ related to open trading ?
Like, when you have mouses in your home, you forbid everyone to go to the fridge ?
Totally not because bots are prepping for open 1:1 trading⌠DEFINITELY not that⌠noooope nope nope!
/sarcasm
Did you⌠play RO?
