The other concern is that the negative steam reviews from this poor launch which has continuously been srsly borked (more so than WoD, WildStar, FFXIV, etc.), could very easily kill this game before it even gets out of it’s founder’s access period.

poor launch? the game launched far better then most games… like wow,fffxiv and more. wow was not something u could play for 4 days… and steam reviews barely matters
Not for all, some companies have same projects and player bases, but doing it much better, for example bns.
Even in this case is output.
The initial launch actually isn’t as bad as it seemed, only for the fact that IMC didn’t realize a lot of the playerbase is going to buy the EA at the last minute.
There were also no gigantic bugs that stopped you from playing, aside from the queue, if you got in you’re pretty much fine.
Initial launches aren’t made to be pretty, they’re the time to fix stuff and adjust to the amount of stress your system is going through
And during those other games launch issues they actually showed an attempt to try and fix things other than just silence. I can accept launch issues, i cant accept neglect. It communicates that they dont even care about the game, and does not encourage any confidence in them going forward.

Eh variable names could be in Korean, but most major programming languages have an english syntax, so “translating code” is probably the least of their worries.

Ah yeah, in hindsight that was my misunderstanding, but they’re fighting two fronts, which means they’re both making content/fixing bugs for both sides(but i’m still not really sure how many programmers work for IMC, and if there are separate teams for each region)
Still really sure they have a lot of work in their plate, they should really have pushed back the opening for some time.

A company such as this has to have staff on 24/7, the games running 24/7 so it’s only logical.
It’s like Tesco opening 12 hours then staff going home but remaining open with no staff.

lol i’m just here to defend the programmers, cause they may have some fault but with bad decisions on releasing the game early, it clearly made everyone’s experience unfun.
