That DEX, with or without Ellaganos cards?
Hopefuly, fresh information and not the repetitive ones. As a cataphract, I am looking forward to this.
Nah, I’m gonna reset soon. Hehe. I had a few extra points while carding up to rank 8 so I gave it a shot to test things out (which I haven’t done yet). I’ll let you guys know about the results.
What I’m curious about it:

How much pDef reduc it causes (or pAtk boost it does) - is it flat or %?

If Defense and Attack zones stack when 2 or more Dragoons put them in one place e.g. 2% may not be much, but would 5 Dragoon make it a 10% increase?

Any hidden synergy e.g. I think considering Serp debuff is on the target, it amplifies the Attack zone effect by x2 (2% ===> 4%) - if I’m right with #2 above, that’s 20% for 5 Dragoons. 20-■■■■■■■-%. Fencers will love us!
Targetting definitely needs getting used to and the damage is meh.
I think it’s a good skill, PVE-wise, for min-maxing damage output. The duration-to-CD ratio and AOE is ok.
I think it’s 15% damage increase.

Oh TIL… so if we do some rough theory-math:
Say we have 1,000 pAtk
+2% from Atk Zone
= 1020
When attacking debuffed target:
+15% for 5 secs w/ Gae Bulg
+100% for 5 secs (once the nerf comes) for Serp
= +115%
= +1173 damage
That’s make it 2,193 end damage. A +119.3% damage increase.
If Atk zone’s effect stacks if we have 5 Dragoons:
+2% from Atk Zone
x 5 (if there are 5 Dragoons)
= 1100
When attacking debuffed target (+115%)
= +1265 damage
That’s make it 2,365 end damage. A +136.5% damage increase.
This just a flat computation though. Skill, damage reduc from target pDef and damage-on-armor-type penalty multipliers needs to be considered inbetween Gae Bulg Atk zone and Gae Bulg’s debuff + Serp debuff.
