Agreed, if you want to nerf or buff something, make sure there is alignment. There’s no sensible justification why linkers here ought to have a nerfed version of our skills while others get to enjoy the original version.
Yeah I can’t stand the 10s buff of steady aim with more than twice the cooldown, they should make it last long or lessen the cooldown. This makes the Archer c2 skill swift step the go to skill with max attribute, talk about perma 25% crit rate. Swift step could be a potential candidate for nerfing.
and not to mention the elimination of saduh oob, cuz the staff doesnt know how to balance an skill and istead they just deletee it, oob simply doesnt exist the skill is useless and it does NOTHING.
I dont think the overheat system is bad though. The spam one key w.o CD is not very appealing to me. The dmg issue should be addressed though, to match at least with the non-overheat one or be close in terms of, on paper damage.
On topic, I would like to see the dev comment on his concerns though. Something similar to this was happening with IRO were our updates were different, not saying it was bad or good. The one thing was that it clearly change the build to match our own pacing of the game. That is what i would like to know in order to evaluate the KO build viability, since at least i know i reference mines with theirs as they are ahead on patches (or at least that what i believe).

+1 agree completely. I chose Skyliner despite knowing the nerf, thinking it was still viable.
It’s terrible how it is now. It should be changed the way it used to be.
All the same I’m Barb C2 and Barbarian has serious strength consistencies as the levels grow…but KTOS is trying to address that. Along with Rodelero as well.
If we don’t get those changes, it really changes how I view my future in the game.

Im just tired and too stupid to realize that these are the correct CDs listed on TOSBase…
i.e The same CDs its always been…
However they WERE lowered in kTOS recently.
I think overheat is a stupid and flawed system, but that’s another story.
The patch discrepancy would make sense if it’s the publisher’s own ideas about how the game should be, but is Nexon really forcing the devs to make changes they object to? Like, iToS is their own server, so it’s all their own decisions, yet they’re not using the work they’ve already created? I don’t get it.
It doesn’t seem like they’re just testing the waters with new patches before seeing if it should be pushed to the other server. They BOTH have things the other doesn’t. Which is even stranger when the same skills are buffed on one end and nerfed on the other with no middle ground. Makes no sense.
They weren’t that high in iCBT2 though if I recall right. Tosbase is player managed and lacking heavily with accurate information. For example people still haven’t inputted loot information from boss cubes at all and they are common knowledge already by many.
Unfortunately thats how some classes work…
Such as Fletcher and classes like Fencer who ONLY get their buffs when using skills and have an arsenal of 0 CD skills to obtain those buffs.
Highlander was supposed to be a similar class, the problem is that when they made Skyliner 0 CD they nerfed its dmg from 675 to 450…
In OUR VERSION we kept the nerfed DMG but gave it an overheat…

Nope they were always 92 and 80 sec in all versions, its just seeing it as “1m 30s”
makes it seem like a lot more then 90s
(Especially to somone like me who just got home from a 17hr shift and has to be back up in… 4hrs? for an 8hr shift)

That why i think i mention RO, at one point it was weird how thing got implemented on the international version. Only stuff approved by the original company could be implemented or something like that a very messy political mush.
On topic, I really hope we get some kind of clarification on how things will work. I mean essentially we could be looking at a different game with the same name, if IMC dev are using their own ideas to balance/implement new content.

I don’t even get why linker is nerfed anyway. I guess its because most ppl refuse or couldn’t understand math.
More like iTOS released without class balancing from kTOS, such as no cd skyliner, fixed kneeling shot, etc. It was like that in iCBT2 too.
BTW can anyone report what happened to sadhu’s skills? Does possession have aoe attack rating of 10?
