Seriously though guys, you can’t just nerf a class, especially one as popular as PD.

Instead, just focus on buffing classes. It’s what IMC has been doing. The skyliner and linker nerfs for iToS are because this is a new launch for ToS in a different region, of course they won’t nerf those classes in Korea as people have them as integral parts of their builds. I do like what you say about adding a CD to antidote, or buffing Wugushi’s poisons, but nerfing PD or Chaplain’s Capella, or anything like that just isn’t very fair either.

I don’t think buffing without nerfing is the best way to balance. Though I do see why IMC would do that, they seem like a company that caters to their playerbase well.

Well, considering they nerfed Steady Aim, I could see it happening.

They only nerfed Steady Aim for iToS though, like he said, since it’s a new launch for a different region. They wouldn’t dare touch Steady Aim on kToS, I’d imagine many would quit if they did.

That’s exactly my point. Since iToS is a new launch, it’s not totally impossible that PD in iToS will get nerfed.

Yes, yes you absolutely can and should.
I would wish to be able to say that freely because if it happens PD players would outcry becuase their class has been ‘‘runied’’ and becomed ‘‘unplayable’’ while literally everyone else rejoices for one reason or another.
Status inflicter classes would be happy because PD doesn’t just make them literally useless and instead just counters them good enough so they have to plan around it instead of having to straight up give up on using most if not all of their skill set.
Clerics would be happy because PD would stop being the center of the universe so the ‘‘meta’’ allows more variety.

The only problem is entitled players, similar examples are Priest’s Stone Skin, that skill makes an absurd ammount of characters useless in PvP and should at least get a PvP only nerf, which would again create a situation as the example above.
The only thing limiting class balance in KToS isn’t fairness, is player entitlement.

Ah, I see. Definitely true.

This is how it should be:

Stoneskin down to +200 block and 0,8* spr. And it is still GOOD.

Just not totaly overpowered anymore.

With 300ish spr. You would buff everyone with 440 block.
Which at level 200 is 540 block without extras to all.

… If i remember correctly that’s still about 30~40% block chance against most, who don’t go full spr block pen.

OH missed that patch note, it’s still pretty strong but good ol’ tree of multi-hit should pull you through.
Good, do this with PD guys come on.
