Well how is content supposed to be tested if it canāt be reached? This is a CBT not an official release of the game. Meant for testing and finding bugs, not actually playing the game strictly for the sake of playing. We should be able to progress through the game at a decent rate in order to find as many bugs as possible and make proper reports. We only have a week to accomplish what the CBT is meant to accomplish

But heās right this aināt RO, I find the xp rate cool, iām okay with grinding even early.
It should be hard anyway, iām sick and tired of MMO where the āā"""āhardā"""""" part comes when youāre max lvl and that max lvl comes in a week without any efforts, or stuff or anything ā¦
Itās just disgusting, people are high level but suck at the game like they were lvl 2 ā¦
Plus I found parties to xp INSANELY faster than solo grinding, team up guys !!

It is not RO, but I think ToS should have the same hardcore grind aspect I believe RO had as the spiritual successor.
But no hardcore grind in early stages with max lvl of 500.

When the game told me, go lvl 30 for that quest, I was like 23.
Partied up with some people, killing pantos archer and boom 20 min later lvl 28, I had to quit.
I donāt think 20 minutes on a game where iām a total noob and donāt know anything is that hardcore tbh.

I donāt know what Ragnarok you were playing but pre-renewal I could get a character to 70 in a day.

But this game is quite different from Ragnarok, even without knowing anything, you just follow a freaking quest line, itās not like you need to figure everything out, here the problem is not, not knowing what to do, itās a grind at very early levels.

its a f**king beta ā¦ i wanna test the game not grind for 24 hours just for some levels ā¦ i dont care if itās slow ā¦ i think it should be slow but not in the beta ā¦ people wanna test the game not grind and then get their characters wiped

Yes, in a party everyone gets less. But you can kill quicker.
If you can kill fast enough solo, itās better solo.
Did someone checked if the full party exp bonus applies?
Anyway, will agree, on beta+wipe exp curve needs be enough to take a good number of people up to the cap at least one day before beta test ends.
70 in a day in pre-renewal RO was either done in late RO when you had all these repeatable handins or crazy EXP event quests OR you were insane rich and could twink your new character to take on almost anything and just mass level.
Early RO never had those repeatables that made leveling so easy. A week to 30-40 for older RO sounds about right unless youāre looking at rich or very experienced characters with good leveling classes. Of course you have to trans and then do x3 exp for that. Level 97 in RO was half way EXP wise.
It took me in Renewal 1 hour to get 129/130ā¦ I feel u guys pain because u are getting 1 level in hour at early levelā¦
they should extend the beta duration and give us 3x exp ā¦ or people will not get to try circle 5 or 6 classes

ehh what are you smoking? I became an assassin in 1 week and a half, level 75/4x(this was when you only had 6 jobs to choose from, no rogue,alchemist,etc.)ā¦ The only hard levels in RO where 85-99.
Edit: what am i reading? 1 week for level 30-40? Iirc RO gave u 2 weeks of free trial right? I was able to become an assassin and get to 75 in the no pay trial you had. Leveling was only hard/stupidly grinding from 85+ and thats a fact. Because stupid curve goes exponentially abrupt at those levels( and 97-99 is like 3 months by itself).
96-99 is equal to 1-96 in raw EXP. 206,821,998 vs 198,412,429 yet you get exp way faster at higher levels. If that took 3 months then 1-96 would take a similar amount of time.
