The 160 Limbo Problem

EDIT2: Because some of the users here cant read more than just one post:
I solved my “limbo issue”, and no, i was not grinding Prison, Bees or Truffle. There are A LOT of quests that you miss easily, quests that appear when you allready finished a map and killed the “endboss”. When i tried betterquest i finished them all, pushed me from 216 to 218 or so.
Before that i spend a lot of time running missions, 60% per day is nice and with the daily-missions i had like 1 level per day, sometimes even more when another questzone unlocked.

Well, i posted this on reddit yesterday, thought i could get some advice.
Simply…im stuck in the level 160 Limbo. I dont know where to go, how to level up…

The problem comes from several points mixed into one big pool.

  • 160 Dungeon is not rewarding at all

There are only very few maps with little mob density

  • Dina Bee Farm 160, the last decent map to grind

  • Villna Forest 163

  • Uskis Arable Land 166

  • Nuordin Falls 168

  • Spring Light Woods 169

  • Namu Temple Ruins 172

  • Glade Hillroad 173

  • Viltis Forest 176

  • Istora Ruins 176

  • Laukyme Swamp 179

  • The Main Quest stops around 160 somewhere, and then you have like 5 quests per map…thats nothing.

  • Mob Kills are not rewarding, the respawn is low, the mob amount is laughable. I currently need to kill around 1000 enemies per level. Im waiting longer than im killing…and im a singletarget archer without AoE nukes.

  • Card-Rewards from Killing is laughable. I spend hours grinding those 300 enemies, thought that i would atleast get like 3-5 cards…nope.
    I got ONE. SINGLE. CARD.
Seriously, Map Exploration gives me like 3 cards, and i can do that in under 30 minutes…but grinding mobs doesnt?

  • Mercenary Missions are worthless at that point.
The Daily Missions still gives me single rank 7 cards for insane tasks.
The Party Mission is a little better but its still not worth the effort.
And the Mercenary Dungeon? come on…im waiting half an hour for a group and then i dont even get exp in there…

Players on reddit adviced that i should wipe my char and start over again, it would be faster. I should grind in the demon prison and save all my cards to skip that limbo…but honestly? I dont agree with that. There is clearly an issue with the content and exp at this point, when there is no way to level up without “saving cards”. So i will not start over again to have a “workaround” for that issue.

EDIT
What is feedback without a suggestion, right?
First of all the mob count should be fixed. Dina Bee Farm is a nice place to be, the bees spawn fast enough and in good amounts…but after that there is almost nothing. maybe 5-6 enemies at a time and a few minutes between respawn.

then obviously the 160 dungeon. no one plays it because its not rewarding, so improve the exp in there to give it a use.

and last but not least…daily missions should scale with your level, they shouldnt be fixed to that lv 7 card range.

Level 145~160

Do the Lvl 145 dungeon. (Found in Forest of Prayers)
Do the Lvl 100 mission dungeons.
Do all the maps from Fedimian.
Alternative grind spots: Demon Prison District 1(Map Lvl 151 so
between 141~161), Demon Prison District 2(Map Lvl 154 so between
144~164), Dina Bee Farm(Map Lvl 160 so between 150~170)
DO NOT USE LVL 7~8 CARDS YET! Grind until Lvl 160~165 range.

Level 160~175

You can choose to use your EXP cards anywhere from 160~165. (I used them at 162)
Use all of your Lvl 7 EXP cards.
Do all the maps from Fedimian.
Use as much of your Lvl 8 EXP cards until Lvl 175.
> Reason we do this is because the Lvl 160 dungeon sucks and doesn’t give good enough exp.
> There’s also no other good grinding spots except Dina Bee Farm. Lvl
> 170~175 is a pain in the ass if you don’t have any cards left since Bee
> Farm will give you less exp for being 10+ levels above the monsters.
You could grind at Bee Farm if you don’t want to save your cards,
but I think it’s better to milk the Lvl 145 dungeon as much as possible.
You should also grind now so you can start gaining some silver for
better equips and/or premium token.

it mentions the exact same issues i just listed above…

as i remember i did the 160 dungeon it gives 25% exp and u can do ur daily missions , it can take u few days but its easy at that lvl

Good luck finding a group for that then. I waited half an hour and not a single player was near the entry. Without a premade group there is no chance to get into it.

Also im at 168 now, so i dont think that i would get 25%. The Mercenary Dungeons were also pretty good at some point, but yesterday i havnt even got 5% in there, against 165 Enemies…again after more than 20minutes waiting…

I will edit a quick and dirty suggestion to fix that issue above

Do at lot of players really get stuck at this level? There were only two times that I grinded lvl 33 to 42 all because I did not know how to get to Klaipeda, and 155-156, just to maybe help me in case my exp cards won’t get me to 175 as they say. But apparently I reached past 175 without hitting a grind wall.
I’m at lvl 201 now and I won’t even call the times that I grinded an actual grinding O:
I simply did all the quests available at my lvl, only using exp cards to lessen the level gap between me and the mobs to 5 in case I get outleveled.
I did not even activate my token, But I made sure to explore 100%. I also did dungeons from time to time but not really everyday.
I’ve never done a single mission dungeon, and have only done the daily quest for 10x (10 exp cards).

EDIT: (almost) every monster gives an exp card if you hunt a number of em (found at the adventure journal), you can claim the exp cards from wings of vibora npc.

I do feel you in that if you are grinding demon prison or bee farm now there will be a lot of fighting over territory and ks (virtually non existant a week ago).
But just letting you know regions with main quests typically give no more cards than regions with only side quests. In fact, many of such ‘main quest’ regions give even less.

yeah but the main quest has some additional rewards sometimes, like 3 extra stat points or other goodies. Also it leads you through the maps, so you know where you can go next

use this

its a nice document indeed…sadly it doesnt help at all.

Im currently at 168, im done with:
157 Demon Prison D3
160 Demon Prison D4
160 Dina Bee Farm
163 Demon Prison D5
163 Vilna Forest
166 Uskis Arable Land
168 Nuordin Falls
169 Spring Light Woods
172 Namu Temple Ruins
173 Glade Hillroad
176 Viltis Forest
and i now started Istora Ruins…a map that is almost 10 levels above my level, where i get twoshot all the time.

Seriously, there are two whole paths from 1-110, and then it gets narrowed down into one where nothing spawns

yup, a good idea would be to grind from 140 all the way to 165-170.
After that eating cards will shoot you strait to 190 : /

If youre really having trouble lvling try exploring 100% some of the higher maps. Idk if there are lv requirements for that but you can get some nice exp card rewards.

well i guess it doesnt get better anyway. the two paths (Orsha and Klaipeda) are just way better for leveling through quests (thats how the western players play mmos).

So i guess all i can do is wait until the devs add more maps and content…

Do your daily quests and missions.
3 lv 160 runs and 3 missions should give you almost 2 lvs a day.

with missions you mean thos mercenary dungeons? tried that yesterday with 166, not even 5% per run.

daily? just rank 7 cards.
and the 160 dungeon…i cant even find a group for it.

but i reached 170 now, so atleast i can now use my new crossbow…hopefully the next few maps are better

edit: of course not…i need 173 to get to the next map because it is blocked…

Wait so you saved your rank 8 cards?
If no then id stop using cards alltogether lol it will just make things worse D:

Remember the wall lasts until 186, it wont get better before that. There is a lv 175 dungeon which improves exp a little but its not significant.
Keep running dungeons, grind at bee farm.
Unfortunately bee farm should be pretty crowded now and I dont know any better spot :frowning:
Maybe someone else can give some tips

there is no dungeon…and seriously, bee farm grinding is now kinda useless. its totaly crowded, and the other maps are kinda bugged.
Laukyme Swamp has something around 15 minutes respawn time…im not joking

edit: well…i think i will take a break until the devs fix this mess…kinda sad that i cant get a refund for the dlc i bought just a few days ago…

What do you mean there is no dungeon?
theres one at 130, 145, 160, 175, 190, 217, etc…

ever tried to find a group for the 160 dungeon that gives no exp?
i stopped at 45minutes waiting.

Try to hit lv 175, that dungeon should be better.
Guess im kinda out of touch with that lv range, always had access to dungeons within 1-8 min queue :frowning:

i actually cant even play anymore since the Tyla Monastery is blocked off until you finish the quests there, and that needs 173 i think, so basically i have these choices now:

  • Grind 5 Daily mission that each give a rank 7 card, where each mission can take several hours.
  • Grind thousands of enemies on a map 10 levels below me, a map that is crowded with players that have the same problem, a map where the player with the biggest AoE wins, and all that because the higher maps are broken as hell (seriously, 15+ minutes respawn time?!)
  • Wait hours for a dungeon that is 10 levels below me, that is known for giving horrible exp.
