Tree of Savior Forum

Thank you, IMC ❤

I would like to take a moment to thank IMC for their efforts and for taking the time to re-open lines of communication. It can be hard to admit when something is wrong. The fact that IMC released information letting us, the customers, in on these problems and how they are hoping to address them means a lot.

Here is the link to the news to which I’m referencing: https://treeofsavior.com/news/?n=435

And here is a relevant post in relation to that original problem (that had so little reception it likely had zero impact on their decision, but, hopefully was read and then suggested at a meeting. Although the “I Love ToS; I’m Leaving ToS” post later mentioned the same issue in communication and was ultimately a more accurate depiction as it covered additional needs lol):

I would also like to take the time to thank IMC for addressing a few issues I had left feedback on months ago regarding the spell-circle placement speed for keyboard mode (and I look forward to this addition making its way to iToS; Thank you! Showing that even if there isn’t an official response to a thread for months that it doesn’t mean that it hasn’t been heard <3):

IMC: I still ask that you please continue to draw on player hype. Feed us more information on what is planned for the future and what is being worked on as well. We want to be excited for the future and your promise on more reliable communication should also include ways to keep our eyes forward. We love ToS and want it to succeed; not only to justify our time spent but also so that we can enjoy the title for years to come.

We were also told earlier that several members of Staff would be present in-game, but… I have yet to see that kind of presence. For a very short while at launch there were a couple GM’s here and there. GM’s (ironically) could not even be whispered though which polluted the shout chats when they did manage to “pop in” for a little while. Please maintain your presence in-game so that all measures of issues can be addressed in a timely manner; this is important in a customer service aspect but also as a means to maintain player morale and a fair environment.

Thank you for every effort you’ve made thus far!!

unfortunately post like this won’t receive much likes from rage quit posts. Nobody listen to you.

lol true true… but… luckily I didn’t write it for those people =P I do hope though that at least one staff member gets to read it and that it makes their day a little bit better. The news that IMC released, as a team, definitely made my day better, so if I can pay it forward with a quick “thank you” then… that time will not have been wasted =)

Especially since I’m a little more known for my tough love… good to change it up with something much more positive lol

Let’s hope it works out fine…even though the damage has been done .

With the release of the recent newer games …their playerbase are just gonna be stolen by them as time passes.I would say their decision was good but a little to late judging at how many negative reviews (and yes…some of the negative reviews do point out the major flaws…)and the forums esaclated out of hand.

I probably will give this a second chance but not at the current state it is, as I’m a hardcore fan of their RO WoE when it was first released but judging from the state of the game…it’s still far from over…

Even I got swayed and bought the recent new release blizzard title…even though I initially thought it was a tad expensive…

Still though …a big thank you IMC and hkkim for addressing the situation and coming up with planned interventions to resolve the current dire state iToS is in…You have allowed ,the international audience, to partake in a wonderful…(although undeniably still buggy) …and to some… nostalgic game…and it take a a lot of effort for a developer to take on the role as the publishers themselves…which I’m glad they did…They could have sold the publishing rights to maybe pwe or aeria games where they will milk the games dry and nothing else

For now I’m just gonna stalk the forums for shyt and giggles and then go back under the bridge once I collect my “toll” until everything is over.
