[Suggestion] Top Guilds In GBL Should Be Excluded For A Week

Before I begin, I’d like to explain my experience with GBL so far. For the past few days now, my guild and I have participated in GvG almost every day, but from the way things are right now, it’s very disheartening.

Earlier, we were up against the strongest guild of our server. We lost, can’t do much in our circumstances, I don’t blame them either and hold no resentment whatsoever, I just say to myself and my guild it’s just bad luck we ran into them. We waited for 10 minutes before we queue again, hoping to fight someone else that’s not them, and we got matched with them again.

Judging from the GBL ranking, it became apparently clear how things were. The number 1 guild would always play every single day, while other guilds would queue just once, try to get lucky, maybe win a match or just lose once, get into the ranking and that’s it. Never play again. And I don’t blame any of these guilds either. It makes sense. It’s nearly impossible to compete with the top guild, so any guild in their right mind would just play once, win or lose, make it to the ranking, get free TP and do it all over again next week. Literally everyone had the same idea. No one is being clever about it.

What I’m suggesting here is that maybe the top 3, or just the number 1 guild in GvG should be excluded from the following week’s ranking. I know a number of games that do this where the top guild would be barred from entering PvP for a small duration of time, just to give other guilds a chance to climb the ladder.

Some might argue that it’s not right to “punish” the top guild, but this is just considering the current situation as well as the overall bigger picture. If say the top guild is excluded for a week from GBL, other guilds have more incentive to queue and not have the “why do I even bother” mentality. With enough participation, GBL would be actually fun for everyone instead of being the game of “gonna queue once, win or lose get my place on the ranking and get free TP for my guild”. The following week, the top guilds can just play again and dominate.

You talking about Crimson? I’m sure most of them use Hook64.

Hey guys, it’s alright… He’s sure about it.

My suggestion would be for every battle, the winning guild gets 3 points and the losing guild gets 1 point. Then, ranking would be based on total number of points.

This way, it will encourage smaller guilds to join unlike the current system wherein joining many times can make them lose points if they lose. Limit should still be four GBL per day.

They use also the Mario Bros 64 as well but man I forgot to record it or screenshot it.With them playing everyday it was hard for me to go as a spectator to show you guys.Heck even if I did record it or screenshot it,it won’t show them cheating but please believe me.

But I know for sure they cheat and I don’t need proof because I speak the truth.

Believe me guys LOL

Must be a Crimson member. The salt in your reply was Grade A.

I wonder who is the salty one lol with 0 proof lol
Because a guild that is number 1 all the time is impossible for them to all be legit. To be that good without cheating is clearly not possible. But hey who needs proof of a screenshot ot video right?

LOL

O/

Yes I’m super salty. You win bro.

You cant prove if someone is using Hook64 because they can hide all the exploited gear with it, even if you inspect their gear you cant see the hidden slots. What i find suspicious with the guild is the amount of defense they have. When they are taking 10s and 20s and 30s of damage in GVG and they have nothing on their team that can boost defense to these absurd amounts.

Or they can simply open a GBL shop like the TBL shop. So even if Guilds keep losing they can earn points to buy something.

I blame alsheyra and his def

Lol. Alsheyra was chasing me literally in circles around the steps to the left of the map during our last GvG. Chased me non-stop until the timer ran out.

Alsheyra want you so bad…

Alsh sis loves grilled mushroom ^O^

Lol. It’s right we can’t prove it but IMC will be able to easily. IMC banned a lot of accounts using Hook64 already.

So say Crimson gets banned for a week…then what happens the following week? People queue, they get beat, dejected and we’re back to the same problem as before. The reality of the situation is the system is fundamentally flawed. We want matches, and just like anyone else we have room for improvement/the desire to evolve based off of strategies used against us to make us lose.

A temporary fix like that wont do anything because people will just dodge during the week where we aren’t locked out. Just like any competition (looking from a fighting game standpoint), there are always the people you need to aspire to beat and work your strategies, improve as a group while aiming for or above those people. If people aren’t motivated in that sense then it’s never gonna work if we’re introduced in the mix.

Yeah, you can say tournaments and stuff have brackets and people get the chance to play or w/e…well you should motivate each other to play rather than sit there like mr “hook 64” boy who cried wolf (I can’t even begin to imagine how you must feel being so completely inadequate with yourself to the point where you can’t believe people come up with strategy or have the capacity to do so…)

Who knows though, if you really want to do more than just worry about the ranking / battle for experience and create strategy through play…you might get your chances still. Hopefully you’ll take up the opportunity ~

Tell me this amazing list of games, cause i’ve never heard anything like that on something worth a dime of playtime.

You weeb nerds need to learn how to operate in the real world. If they’re beating you, you have to work to become better. Not sit here and cry because you have “no shot.” Grow up.

Talking about improvement, the system should have the win % (# win/# total matches). Then you can just loop around the guilds queuing… if guild A hasn’t fight guild B this week, then they’ll fight. If they have fought each other this week, then they’ll only fight if the win % difference is < 25% or something… some threshold that makes sense. Or you can rank the win % and have the two guilds with closest win % fight each other (?).

The difficulty with this is that some other guild may queue in the middle or this calculation… so this calculation should probably takes place at a 5 min interval or something. Just a suggestion, I’m sure other kids may have a better suggestion though <3

Yes, tell us what these games are, and if there really are how’s it going for those games and did you make these games?

No who am I kidding, with all these big titles how can you make a better game with that mentality.
