Thanks for point it out bro, but look like imc really dont care about this at all, if they really give only 50% BG back i guess this is the time for me to move on and looking for a new game to play

well, if we look at it this way, we normally don’t transcend something that we aren’t going to transcend back when the rollback comes.
not stating one’s hidden agenda of transcending something they didn’t plan to after rollback is kind of like the same omission imc made
it’s not like they took away our gems since it remains the same. the 50% and 100% rollback is kind of a bonus
needless to say we have this 50% transcend discount event ‘w’
though imc should also understand that there are people who waited for this patch expecting a 100% rollback instead of breaking the item and only get 90%
for me, the most reasonable solution is to have an event npc where people can exchange the untradable for 40% of the gems
so while they get the 50% if they trade the weapon and get the 40%
they get 90% back, it’s like they had the weapon break for the 90% gems
(this is assuming all weapons broken gets 90% of the gems back, i haven’t really break any of my weapons for gems so i wouldn’t know. but i think this will solve the problem for people who waited for the patch and didn’t break their weapons)
though tbh, i am curious if the ktost had this same event that itos people who play on ktos would have already known this is coming

Depends.
A valid point is transcending a weapon to farm a new one that will be stronger so you can get ready for the new patch.
Let’s say you had a transcended item to farm Earth Tower 40F weapons. Everyone else from your team gets their shards back and you’re stuck because the only weapon you got lucky on enhancement (big part of issue here) was an Event one so you trasncended it.
Now you’re losing shards while all your 4 team mates have 100% refund.
Definitely not fair. X player getting 100% refund vs Y player not getting a refund isn’t a decision a company should make.
All weapons means all weapons.
Unbalanced classes, RNG luck and etc can be unfair but nothing is as bad as being selected out by developers’ whims and lack of information.

while it is in fact unfair, i’d also like to point out that this is the same case in KToS yes? ‘w’?
i wonder what happens there though. and how a lot of itos players who has ktos accounts to preview things wasn’t aware or publicize this.
though i do wonder if ktos had compensations for this as well ‘w’
give 50% bg back still not fair since current event discount the amount of bg more on every 2nd stage. So if u’re already on stage 10 the 50%bg back is not covering all bg compare to u to trans after the change.

IMC is so disgusting, they really gave back just 50%, without warn before the patch.
I transcended my weapon the day before the patch just to lose gems because of IMC’s mistake and they adopted the worst solution: 50%.
I spent 12 gems transcending an untradeble weapon to stage 2 before the patch. If I transcend the same weapon today to Stage 2 it costs 2 gems (10 gems of difference). But they just refunded me 6.
In another words: IMC said
-before the patch: I’ll refund all of the gems, don’t worry.
-after the patch: we didn’t notice untradeble weapons and now players can’t remove the gems anymore… the players will pay for that, sorry.
I found it quite obvious that i wouldn’t get all my gems back considering they were “reducing” gems required to transcend 
technically they did refund all the gems based on new values to recover your transcended gear, people planned to transcend double the amount of weapons or sell the remaining gems but it didn’t work out for them…
they expected too much

Well just delete this game from my steam account, this is the last time im login to this forum too, its been 2 years IMC, 2 ■■■■■■■ years full of bug, cheat and bots but i’m still waiting patiently for you to fix this game but NO the bots still running around with those TP shield, the game still full of bugs, and now this ? it took me 2 years to farming all those BG and with just 2 patch you took 1/2 of it from me its 1/2 of 4768 hours you ■■■■■■■ incompetent, that’s it i’m done .
This just reminds me something… When I started to play one year ago, we had that cool feature called “Rebuy” where you could get back an item you sold to the shop by accident. That feature is gone (well it’s there but does nothing)… supposedly to prevent bots from abusing it. You know what? Bots have access to 30 free days of Zemyna Necklace, Lord Hamondale Bracelets, Phada, Sissel, Archmage Bangle, Aias, Maga Rod… and so on. They dont care about rebuying stuff, the only people who care simply can’t do that anymore… That’s sad…
So after all they make a mistake and all of us had to pay for that, simple as that right? Imc everytime motivate all of us to stop playing.

though tbh i actually do not get the point why the changes on transcend system has to reroll gems in the first place, it’s actually putting effort on my part if all my transcended items are the ones i’m currently using ‘w’;;
though it’s a good thing i kept all my old trans items eversince. now i have these bonus gems that i get to transcend my current stage 3 weps to stage 6, which is basically back to 60% plus the buffed base on quips an a few extra gems to trans 5 my wiz blade which i’ve been reluctant to do since ive been currently using shards for costume trading OwO and the list is kind of long :'D
We just got IMCed. Even gear from gacha (paid with real money) received only half gems.
IMC already showed that they can apply the refund using the backup from before trans patch.
It is IMC’s fault and they prove they can fix it, avoiding players from exploiting that. They just do not want it. Simple like that.

Even considering what you said, this still hurts the people who already trans their event items before the initial announcement was made. Well intentioned, legit players got IMC’d again.
And the main arugment is that if we were told about the 50% return ahead of time, people would’ve dismantled those event items for 90% return instead of the 50% return they are recieving. Bottom line, people were not told about the 50% return until -after- the maintenance happened. No defending that.

Until I die, I’ll tell everyone I know that this IMC is a junk company and totally unfair to the players.
I was stolen 250 million silver in Blessed Gems!
Because of her incompetence, she announced one thing and did another, now she has a useless staff transcended in stage 10 because they have announced something and have no honor to fulfill what they announce.
I do not invite anyone else to any game that this corporate junk is involved with.
Feel ya, it’s disgusting what they just did. I hope you all stand stronger after this fiasco.
