Simple Solution to KS'ing problems

This sounds like the cheap way out. You stopped ksing but you basically started monopoly. Long range classes will just tag 90% of the mob before your each them.

How is this fair? If a large group spawn long range will just tag each mob you try to reach unless they are close to you. I can literally just sit there and pick at all the mobs you are about to hit and “tag” them.

You know whats fair?

If you attack a mob you get the credit for the quest regardless of contribution. One of the main problem is questing as there isn’t enough mobs.

What does this solve?

What are you talking about this doesn’t stop the bots if anything this would give them a good incentive to make a script for archers to tag the mobs, so the ALWAYS GET the loot.

Also your solution would completely make world boss a trigger finger game at this point. Which I can’t tell if this is worst. 100% chance you loose loot or a possibility to get loot, base on your dps.

This “Simple Solution” has been thought, used, and have been throw out the door.

You must be an archer, or someone who has no problem with people who steal kills.

Just make it like GW2, and you won’t hear a KS complain never again.

Isn’t that the everyone who contributes gets loot/exp system? PSO2 utilizes it too, granted PSO2 has a limit of 12 people in a multi party area… but still if you’re in screen range of the monster every player gets their own loot and actually only sees their own loot.

Yes, that’s how it works. Simply put, there is no way to KS another person… if you try to do so, you’re actually helping me.

PSO2 utilizes the same system and everyone works together to take down mobs instead of isolating, it’d be a very welcome system really :confused: Of course party buffs still apply to those in parties… same with rare drop boost.

This system should be adopted in ToS for regular and boss enemies tbh… cause what I’ve heard about bosses and boss drops is deterring me from leveling past 200 when I get that far.

Many games have proven this method solves or discourage “Kill Stealing” and there are hardly any set backs. The only thing I think is gonna be a problem is the place/spot/area that has low mob density o spawn rate. but that is very easy to fix IMO.

Im a level 200 Cleric / Chaplain and I say no way, things are fine how they are. Someone KS’s you multiple times use the channel change function. They increased the high level channels and there is more than enough now.

Typical of stupid people like you that cry about everything, “if someone isn’t complaining about KS, it must be a KSer”

Have you ever tried to KS an archer? It’s not easy.

Then my apologies, I had so many people calling me a KSer for defending KSing that I get called an archer all the time.

But to answer your question, no I I think I never tried. And yes I have a lot of problems with KSers, but it’s part of the game and it’s their decision to be a ■■■■.
It’s a multiplayer game, not everyone is a good guy, my only option is to deal with it or go play another game.

Lol linker n archer will own the game if that so… This is insane… Others can jus quit the game I think if this happen… IMC jus need to increase spawn rate that would solve this problem.

Now this is a good “solution”. Implementing rules and system against KS would just hurt the game, however increasing spawn will only make the game a lot more fun.

PK will fix this.

Im not farming world bosses but I still think they shouldnt be given out to everyone. People would just gather to leech cubes and there wouldnt be hundreds of cubes given out daily. That would make all the gear from the cubes to be common and lose their value. Then what would be the incentive to hunt world bosses? O.o That would just make them useless.

Keeping it the way it is, is worse. The same egotists are controlling the market of these drops because they make ‘world boss parties’ of only DPS and camp the bosses knowing their timers and claiming 25 boss cubes for themselves.

You really think that’s a better outcome then having these drops having their rarity lessened. Not to mention not everyone can just abandon what they’re doing to go after drops that aren’t relevant to them.

if a high lvl player goes to a low lvl map in party with his friend and kills low lvl mobs the low lvl friend gets full exp i tried it like 2 weeks ago lol i was 178 my friend was lvl 1-15 lol so this isnt an issue but it kinda sucks knowing the builds i enjoy will never get world boss items.

And to everyone else all classes have their ksers ever been ksed by a chaplain lol it sucks xD
