Ok, I’ll upload a few more too
The first 2 are from a year or two ago, just thought people would recognise the characters, the last one is an original character I did roughly around the same-time
@ZetaGhost
Love superman! The shading is really focused and makes the picture pop out (hopefully not at me).
The second picture also has really good shading. I rarely draw girls, so I would have to look at references to get a better idea of the shape and form.
The third picture, is that a character from someone or you made it? I have never seen it, so I’m not sure.
Yup, the 3rd one was just something off the top of my head. The other 2 are free hand copies (Supes and Hulk woman), the real heroes the artist who drew them originally (Although it did take a good few hours to draw them anyway ).
I’ve always had this kind of novice scratchy drawing style, drawing 1 confident line didn’t come natural to me. However in return, from drawing scratchy so often, as a by product I became rather good at shading and contrast… So give and take I suppose. Can’t have it all. xD
I guess If I want like bait on this forum, I’d need to submit more anime fan art stuff… Maybe I’ll just draw a few video game characters or anime protagonist/antagonists weed out some compliments and make myself feel good for a day :DDD
(Side note: I’m a horrible painter, dear god, a 12 year old could create a more cohesive painting. I’ll just have to call it modern art and hope no one notices…)
Whoa, all of you are so talented.
Those are very nice! : )
Now that’s what I call a masterpiece.
How long did it take for you to draw something like that?
usually takes about 40 hours since this is a huge drawing.
Oh yeah, I just realized that it actually has more than 2000 pixels size.
Still wondering how can people spend that much time just to draw. Maybe that’s probably the reason why I admire artists/painters. They’re very dedicated.
I guessed right. Shading is a bit more complex if you don’t know how to do it. So, I’m glad you didn’t have to forcibly learn it. I think it’s funny that I can draw yet my writing is horrible (it really is ).
Haha, sometimes artists need to feed on those comments to keep drawing more. I know I do! I rarely draw characters from others because I like the unknown drawings I make (they really are unknown). I could start and think I know what I want it to be, then it changes into something completely different. I think my art is more on chance and mistakes than knowing where things are placed. So, I try to strengthen that by looking at references to fix anything odd or off. Like a naked model for instance. I didn’t know how to draw the lower part of a males chest, so I had to look it up and adjust a bit. Though most of the time I just draw without looking at anything.
Personally I dislike painting. I don’t really have to much control with it because the brush is thick. I like really thin pencils that give sharp accuracy. “call it modern art and hope no one notices” that’s really funny
Thank you Micchan! your comment means a lot to me.
I love how you made the feathers for the dreamcatcher. Very detailed And the eagle looks amazing too! love your shading.
Wow! That has really strong shades and the detail on the puppet is really good too.
This one is 10 years old, but I still love it very much : )
Can’t really compare to the skill of the artists in this thread. Posting in spirit of contribution. ^^
So much talent already, I’m already excited to see what whe can expect in the future in terms of art work for this game
That eagle look so cool
