I want there to be 2 seperate class paths you can choose. Like once you choose your base cleric/swordsman/wizard/archer, your stuck with it, but once you get the seperate build you can switch between two builds from that base only.
I think the reset after a major update with hard re-balance will be sufficient. Otherwise it can and will be abused by people.
Or they could (and possibly will) simply give away a Stat Reset Potion during events, like they did in kToS, instead.
Personally, I dont like the idea of making it readily available in-game through repeatable quests of any sort, but I find it fair to award a reset if theres any major class balance.
Iām confused on why people want others to have sucky builds for life. I get people want variety, but this is literally one of those moments where someone is going to be like āthis build sucks, i suck, i quit.ā Then oh, thereās a build reset to use. I donāt understand why people want to feel special with their "metaā build.
IMC has mentioned in the past that they want people to feel the weight of selecting a class, and the importance of planning out your path ahead of time.
Hence i dont think weāll ever see class resets
That sounds like laziness to me. But i can accept it.
I hate feeling the weight ;-;
How do you⦠āhard rebalanceā a skill reset item? Skill reset by definition is a rebalance item⦠it fixes flaws in your builds.
this will not happen. You can pay money for that later on in the Cash Shop (would be a good choice as a IMC man)
But I think f2p people - all people should earn at least one skill resett for free
and if you ā ā ā ā up again its your own fault and you need to pay money for another resett. Best thing they can do
Your build based on ranks aka professions what u choising before. Swap skillās in this ranks - itās fine. but leveling in dex and then change to str or con w\e else itās bad i guess. Sorry for my bad english. Tried to say simply as i can. Also i doesnt like even skill reset whenever you want it.
How do you plan ahead of time when you are not given all the information necessary to make an informed decision. There are no trial runs on release. There are no test server just for the sake of trying out an old/new class. There is no comprehensive list of everything a skill does. There are too many hidden/unclear effects with skills.
Take a look at clericās [fade].
It doesnāt say it protects you from magic circles (but it does). Why does it have a duration when it only says it resets aggro? Do you gain back the aggro after the duration?
Take a look at paladinās [restoration].
It doesnāt say it boosts the effect of clericās [heal].
It is SO EASY to make a mistake because of the lack of information. Why is there even a need to hide this kind of information?
I think 1 Stat/Skill reset is good enough as F2P with adding the chance to earn a reset item (one) in endgame quests (involving difficulty) along with Cash Shop method.
i kinda like the secrets
another āfamousā one is the extra OOB damage to sadhus that passed by magic circles
