Seems kinda boring now

As the title says… At 1st I was excited to play the game. Awesome graphics and lots of classes to choose from. After playing this game for almost a month now well sadly its getting boring. The game doesn’t have that much kick after all. Here’s why.

  1. Graphics engine is… Well… Screwed up.

  2. Bots spamming chat specially the shout. That long ass advertisement of their site.

  3. Trade restrictions. Trading has a big role in every MMORPG mainly to avoid taxes in market. I do understand that in game taxes serves as a currency sink to avoid inflation and same goes for the skill upgrade cost. Can’t trade silvers. Can’t trade tokens. How are we supposed to negotiate with items if some aren’t tradable?

  4. Market price limitation is an arsehole. Why is it doing that? For what reason? I really don’t get it. Players should be the one who names their prices and not the market just because its the “average” price. Nobody will hunt stuff if they can’t name a price for it because of that.

  5. Very few equipment and equipment sources. It’s just me I guess.

  6. Server crashes. Monster re-spawn speed. Monster max view range/distance. I wanna lure the whole map if possible lol.

  7. OH MY GOD THE TALT.

  8. Missions. Dungeon instance. Doing the same thing everyday. Some don’t give that much exp as well. I think I’m gonna puke.

Thank you to those who bothered reading this nonsense feedback of mine.

totally agreed to most of your point.

especially 8 and 9 which is balancing that is not there for some reason.

9?

^^

But yeah.
Dungeons should give more exp, be deadly and feel rewarding.

Talt spam is just agony.
Give us a trade in funktion for talt= drops.

I’m starting to think that he meant “9 and 10”

@greenfoxy21
@animalistix_2000

oh come on you guys, what i mean by 9 is that you are missing something, that is balancing and i place it on number 9 because that number is open.

It’s funny because half of the OP concerns came up during the CBT>OBT transition  Thanks imc !
OP is right btw.

F2P on May 10th. I don’t think the game is ready for that. As a matter of fact I think the game wasn’t ready to be released at all.

@LargeBanana

Sorry bro… Will you forgive me? :worried:

I agree the most on 4 and 5, rest is not so bad for me.

My guess is #4 is there to stop people from manipulating the market(which is a shitty thing to do). On ragnarok online i was able to make the price of a card rise from 3m to 9m, by buying every type of that card on the market

You have a point but some materials for crafting is not easy to hunt/farm because of the spawn rate and monster debuffs like sleep/freeze. Players want to name a price for those items in other words “Fruit of labor”.

MMO is a gamers “virtual life”. If a price gets manipulated then its up to everyone to negotiate for the right price.

  1. Kinda true, but it’s hard to tell if they can or cannot optimize it. worth waiting a bit longer.

  2. MMO, can’t do much about it, and it wil lget worse with FtP.

  3. Personally I haven’t found the 30 transactions per month that limiting for me, although it does feel wrong when the whole system is tailored around countering RMT, especially since it’s failing at it.

  4. The min/max price is to prevent RMT from buying worthless items at insane prices, on the long run it might work, for now there are still items without average so they still use it to transfer silver.

  5. Persnoally I don’t mind having to go around with white (statless) items. Just a different game design. The blue and purple recipes/items feel a lot more rewarding (assuming you manage to get them)

  6. Spot on. I am tired or having to kill the game everytime I load a new area cause it freezes. Tired of slow respawn rates, and to add to your point, so many chokepoints while leveling: forcing every player in the 210-230 range to kill truffles is not appealing to me.

  7. We all love TALT, what’s wrong with this point?

  8. Agree. Mostly because the fights are not very entertaining I guess.

Some poitns might fix themselves in the future, others might not. I guess only time will tell.

whistels innocently

Who would EVER (not) do that …

I hadn’t planned on being GREAT at it at all~

I might have an history ov manipulating stock markets on games, specially RO. But heck … everyone is clean when he starts anew~

But yes, manipulating markets isn’t the nicest thing to do.
But it was a kind of metagame. And people can still do it atm. It’s just harder ^^.
(untradeable stuff, potential … etc.)

Heck some people wanted to hoard tokens and resell them … to bad that didn’t work out. (and i’m happy about it… with all the abuse going on, the price will only grow when the need of freshblood rises.)

You sir!
Should hoard these arde daggers, noob gears and cafrisun farm spots now~

I don’t love TALT. It loves me though. It loves us all. The thought of a talt hugging my leg screaming “LOVE MEEE” just creeps me out. So no.

Another main issue I forsee is a really strict meta. Currently 3 classes are almost required to do ET(5th floor+):

  1. Linker-focused wizard with maybe chrono for support.

2.Wiz3>Ele3>WL. Fun to play and extremely high damage.

  1. Healer. Completely understandable. Should be needed for every dungeon 190+.

I just hope they bring more versatility. Feel really bad for swordsman class right now, and pardoner almost makes paladin and priest useless. The only thing priest’s have going for then is res. Also, oracle lol.

Ktos balance changes could easy be out here as well, since they’re so busy with stability/bots. The game as a core is really hurting right now. Bots will always exist, but people quitting due to having to reroll at max level(or close to it) and not being able to even do dungeons is pretty bad. Dungeons are pretty vital to keep the entertainment going and stay in the EXP loop.

There’s actually quite a few choices, but you don’t notice that because of low drop chances. For the rest I agree with your post.

Really had high hopes for this game. But it turns out to be just another game with fancy graphics and a bunch of failures.

Yea I guess you’re right. Go in a dungeon and rush boss for a TALT. Join boss raids for a TALT. :sob:

This game really needs more equipment and sources. Everybody just walks with this freaking arde dagger, cuz its so op. And u can go with it even at 280 lvl lol.
And make lower drop rate for talt xD
This game is made purely on “property attack dmg”

Finally someone is telling what i’m feeling right now. Seriously if you’re not lucky in this game (Good item drops) you’re doomed. 100%.
