Say NO to 50% Squire - Alchemist - Pardoner Tax!

just create a passive skill that works in this way could help pure squire to get profit and make c1 squire bot useless.

This will just make SquireC1&C2 useless and no longer able to competition in all aspect (Weaker buff, repair and also higher price :(). If u r gonna change this way. U can just put Shop skill directly on C3…

All ppl who go squireC2 and then templar/other rank7 class will be ruined

I Say no to 50% tax rate for Squire, Alchemist and Pardoner shops!

Just took Squire C1 and it’s a freaking joke…

The reason for high tax i believe because of these class can PRICE for service without market limitation. They generate profit out of thin air. They could be abuse for silver transaction as well.

To fight against this kind of abuse, I think we could make taxes so big on large transaction and low rate taxes on normal deal when number of small but many transaction achieved.

No Silver transaction is a big miss take at all.

merchant classes will be pointless if the tax is too high. even in an mmorpg setting, taking 50% of tax from merchants is literally robbery.

Implying there’s no other way to do money sinks…

Seriously, heavily limiting or even nullifying an ā€œeconomicā€ class’ ability to make money is not a very reasonable decision.

Let’s think of some healthier money sinks:

  • Increase the base price of materials for Squire/Alchemist, but making sure they can always retain a minimum profit. No tax involved.
  • Entry fees for the upcoming GvG tournaments, management fees for large guilds.
  • Smaller fees for instances, so that they’re not always the BEST way to level up no matter what.
  • Hard upper limits on market prices on most items, so that rich people don’t go overboard.

I can’t understand Market and Shop taxes. Where does the money go? For Klaipeda hospitals and public schools? If at least when taxes reaches a specific value we get some Warp Scrolls…

didnt know about the 50%, thats a pretty retarded decision. i mean why even have a class like that if u plan to nerf it that way? what were they thinking…

i for one will never pay for those expensive repairs because i agree the pricing makes it not worth it unless you offer it at the mage tower maybe

so you have to make a squire or pardoner first?lol

if they remove the tax, you still wont get people to repair with you, unless you beat the NPC price, now how you going to do that when he offers full repairs for 3k silver?

Oh definitely, if I sacrifice damage and/or utility to make some cash I should not get 50% tax on it, that’s horrible. Fix please!

Wow, I had no idea there was a 50% tax… With the low cost of NPC repairs in comparison, squires are practically redundant.

Greeting Savior.
my opion is no need to fix the tax to prevent gold seller and such.

How about IMC create new Att. for all skill setup shops.
ie. require item for skill use are drop from monsters (more gathering) or no longer require item to use skill.

so all vendors can compete with each other who can lower they price cheap or a little bit higher then Npc compare to the higher skill level they have or the shop that is available on that time .

So… as a soon to be Alche, the only good way I really make money from is doing item awakenings, praying very hard for a good result then selling it on the market. At that point I hope ā€œawakenedā€ items will be treated as a different item from the original, otherwise I’ll be slapped by the price limit.

Price limit is a joke. Don’t think about it.
And believe me, you will not make Awakening for a living.

You perfectly explained why the tax NEEDS to stay in the game right there.
