Reset system will exist?

Players shouldn’t have to reroll to test a minor change to their existing build. There is no rhyme or reason to forcing them to do that - it isn’t necessary to stabilize gameplay and it doesn’t make sense logically either

i would prefer a npc much more then a cash shop item, they will gain a lot of money anyway due to costumes.

Why they can’t just gain money from both?

as it is right now in CBT3 you can gain the “cash shop coins” also known as NXP oder iCoins through the adventures journal where you have to kill different monsters, explore locations and such somewhat like a achievement system but with actual rewards.
So you might be able to get those cash shop features just by playing

That would be a great alternative in my opinion, and if it’s already implemented, kudos for them.

I love to grind and solo questing, so I wouldn’t mind doing some quests in order to get those coins.

I have some questions regarding world or guild events, but I guess I’m just gonna start another thread since this one it’s not the most appropriate to discuss this.

How about like how they do it In Torchlight 2? You where able to pay gold to get back your last 3 skill points. If you wanted more than that then IMCgames could charge you their premium currency option. As well as a premium currency option to reset everything. That could be good? Haven’t thought too much about it though as it was a spur of the moment idea but I can’t think why not.

Three points is wayyy too much flexibility in this game, I’m afraid.

Lol what? How? Are you being sarcastic?

I’m assuming you haven’t looked at this. Thank me later.

*ironic

Sarcasm is a biting tone that implies contempt, not the use of irony for satire

I’m assuming you haven’t looked at this. Thank me later.

Good point other than that this simulator contains almost no actual information on any of the skills listed and doesn’t list skill attributes for reference

I’ll let him take it however he wants, lol.

I just believe simply being able to (for example), get level 1 in 3 skills of my choice for utility for certain situations seems a little too… easy. At least for only paying a small fee.

I already know about Tosbase and it’s skill simulator. I’m unsure as to where you’re going with it. It shows us you get 90 skill points all together, so how does being able to refund up to 3 skill points, in case you make a mistake on your build, provide too much flexibility?

Because players who don’t want skill resets think it’s better to make a game unplayable for everyone else as long as it’s still playable for them specifically

You are aware 3 skill points can mean 3 entire skills, right?

Which doesn’t really matter since the entire point of the class system is that each class has a highly specialized set of skills

Yes, depending on how you use your 3 skill points. You could either reduce the skillpoints of a skill you invested too many points in. Or could try out 3 low lvl skills and then change it. You are still stuck on being the same class so there is only a limited amount of skills you can choose anyway. So what does it matter?

I just believe you should fully commit to whatever build you choose, instead of being given that much room for alternatives.

Should you decide to change your mind, then buy a skill reset (more than likely from the cash shop).

Yeah, but you are still committing once you go past that 3 skill lvl, anything done before the 3 most recent skills is permanent. and it’s also a little unfair, if you say miss clicked, or wanted to see if that buff was worth it other the damage, but then you found it was useless in your build. Would be nice to just go back a skill or 2 for a sum of gold rather than pay for a whole skill reset. Surely?

Yes. I hope there will be like 1 or 2 free reset per character.to let the players know carefuly building thier points or skills in game   :+1:

You’re right, it would be very nice. I just think it’s too nice.
