Remove Item Requirement for Support Skills (Priest/Chaplain/etc)

I have a Druid Nv.178 (Priest C3 → Chaplain C1 → Druid C1) and I don’t have any problems with silver, killing some growings monsters getting high silver amount and earn some in Dungeons and Missions, but the Capel price I agree, if capel was price reduced to 200~400 silver will be a good skill for grinding and you can use more often.

Blessing gives fixed amount of damage for a low price (20 silver) to all members, and the limit of hits is made for pardoner buff in the Spell Shop for the player not keep the buff actived all time.

on PvE I may agree but it’s not going to be like this on GvG. :slight_smile:

I pay 500 silver for every rune I use. I ain’t complaining o.O

you forgot shinobi class which needs ninjutsu bombs

he meant the repair cost is WAY too much because if they’re tankers (which they use plate set) the repairing fee is very high. have you tried repairng roxona plate set? that’s the answer.

if you’re complaining about how clerics struggles for silver for buffs. try using cafrisun set. if you’re a priest c3 then your life as a solo support will be easy.

P.S - regarding on party/dungeon/mission runs. change gear of course for better survival.

As my first sentences said, the game favored DPS classes and support classes had a hard time.

Tankers count as a support class, and hence it’s also unfair for them to have to repair so often. And the unfairness is something that I’m trying to get rid of as the purpose of this post.

I didn’t mention tank cuz I didn’t play it and that is out of the scope of this post. I’m hoping to remove the gap between support and DPS classes, starting from this small step, which is removing item consumptions for any party wide support skills, not limiting to priest only.

I disagree about removing the item requirement, BUT i believe they should increase the duration. No one likes to have to spam buffs every min. The duration of Aspersion/Sacrament/Blessing should be, in my opinion, 15min-30min. It is ridiculous that as priest 3, i HAVE to buy the buffs from pardonners still because it saves a lot of time and money.

Removing the item requirements would just lead to cleric bots randomly buffing everyone that passes them. A single cleric could buff an entire guild. This would be even worse if the buffs lasted an hour.

As a full support, i find the price of materials to be fair. Compared to my static buddies, I never have any financial issues. My buddies are constantly around the 100k mark due to attribute leveling, something full supports don’t need to invest in as much. The money is also easily made back after a few mission runs.

Removing the item requirement would be awesome though. Can’t complain about more silver. Just personally I think it is fair as it stands now.

I disagree with the reasoning, however, I feel that with the buff cap, that buffs which require a reagent should not be able to overwritten by buffs that do not cost one.

For example, I hit buff cap in a support-heavy group on my priest. My buffs cost reagents, and if they have a longer duration (sacrament, for example), they are the most likely to get knocked off by the other class’s buffs which do not cost a reagent.

Besides that, I don’t see any problem. Support classes in this game are exceptional, I do not feel that the game favors DPS classes in any way, and most “support” classes have plenty of ways of doing damage themselves to level, even as a full support.
