your setup is still pretty bad though, not being mean just pointing a few things out;
- the shade stuff is garbage and you have no need for sp recovery gems
- you need to pick up 4 specific cards to eliminate your sp costs, forever;
specter monarch, throneweaver, harpeia, carapace - your critical rate is terrible, evasion is subpar aswell, ditch the STR all together, was no point in holding onto that amount
(the leftover 4 cards are your choice, I do 4 Ellangos for my extras)
Shade set is not my final stuff, this character is still my alt. Ty for the tips, tho.
@seifer0692 That i donāt know. Someone said to me that Red gems have more benefit, because of the phys attack, to scalate better with the Split Arrow bounce modifier. I tried to read the formula stuff, but this is not my area at allā¦ so iāll keep like this for now just to be sure.
Split arrow makes red gem = to yellow gem in terms of the average damage gain (of a yellow gem average damage at 100% crit chance)
Split arrow has a better max damage with red gems.
If you ever have any amount of glass mole, and you use it with split arrow, then itās better than yellow.

This is my scout at the moment, lvl 252 archer 3 scout 3 cannoneer ( yea i took cannoneer dammit) i have this one sitting at lvl 252 for a while but im planning to get it to lvl 317 to a mergen for farming efficiency
my split arrow at 70% attribute can execute 13k damage.
Honestly farming became so easy for me with that archer im clearing 145 in 15-18 minutes on average
@jchsc32 where did you get manahas set? and how hard is it to farm it? thinking ill start farming it on my lancer.
i envy this people able to raise their toon farmer into high level, spending gears and attributes.
oh wait, they farm to gear up their toons? seems legit. 
actaully getting ur farmer toon into high lvl is a great idea, that way going rank 8 you have more skills ( for example mergen skills) that make farming easier 
its like the difference between a lvl 176 scout 3 and a lvl 240 scout 3. (for me it was huge)
i donāt knowā¦ time spent + silvers for attribute + silvers for gear compare to 176 scout. a 15min clearing time over 20mins clearing timeā¦

On topic. iād personally pick yellow gems. why? bows are already RNG damage, min~max is nearly 2Hsword value. adding Red gems will make it more hit and miss value.
you are not gonna finish it in 20 minutes with a lvl 176 scout with a +0 white bow and 0 attributes 
my clear time at that lvl with no gear at all was a lot longer than 20 minutes. especially since your split arrow will only do 5-6k, nobody has the patience to solo it at lvl 176 every day being so weak dude.
Just makes it more fun to solo when youāre stronger.
I remember not wanting to solo 145 becuase it was so devastating doing it when you are low lvl and so weak, especially since low lvl the magic mobs rape you
at higher lvls you get better defense and its just easier and more encouraging to solo.
My scout 3 have made me more than 50m silver ever since i got it to higher than 240.

Agree on the point on increasing your critrate then go pattack headgears. (not sure if you have crt rate headgears).
Iām moving an inch closer to the red gem flag team at the moment (lul).
You can make half a 145 run-silver-value with 290 boss rush. I have a scount 3 mergen but I can not do the full runs right now so instead Iām doing 290 rushā¦ ez 140k
i mean as long as you have fun playing the class i donāt see the problem, i play to have fun and thats why i spend silver on my scout because i enjoy playing it even though its not my main.
My Archer3Scout3 full run 145- around 20min
now after change into falcon-mergen I can done around 15-18min (upon stupid falcon T T) maybe if I upgrade split arrow from lvl1 to lvl5 I can do a bit faster but I think itās fine right now. Maybe I can do faster by just change a gem on my bow. or just lvling my char into lvl315 for new bow/use blessed gem.
anyway high lvl is better.
does yellow gem damage get added ad the and after all modifiers or how does it works? if i understood correctly red gems give max patk so they are added before any calculations and with split arrow they are essentially doubling their value, plus they are factored in attributes and so on, is it the same for yellow gems?
The whole āscout 3s are garbage and only good for soloāng dungeonsā thing is just utter nonsense repeated by stupid people. Just like the idreamy scout 3 thread, literally 4 out of every 5 replies in that thread is someone without the build in question telling other people about the build.
I have taken 2 scouts, an SR, an catagoon, and an elememe to the old cap of 280, and my scout3/mergen to lv328 atm. The scouts have been by far my favorite all around characters to play. I was able to solo every single quest and instance in rank 8 with the exception of the zima suecourt megaboss, the alembic caves megaboss and the double centaur fight in dog eat dog.
I place 1st in Saalus on a pretty regular basis against fencers, pds, drgs, srs etc, is an scout 3 a single target powerhouse, ofc not, but if you put the time and $ into them they handle extremely well and in a dead game like this you can thrive, only needing 4 other people for maybe 10min a day.
Ya your setup is spot on, the gear could use some upgrades but the general setup is exactly what I run. On day 2 and 3 of the rank 8 update I spent about 15 combined hours farming the chest and legs and did not see a single drop, at that time 1 of the leaders of a larger guild on my server had been group farming the set with oracles and THAs so they were getting double drops and at that time (day 3/4) no-one even knew the set existed so there was no set price. I was able to get the full set for 2 sissel bracelets, those took me about a week to refarm but it was well worth it b/c people still want 7-10mil PER manahas piece atm.
(I would like to pick up an Lolo Plate set aswell but the chest/legs are just never sold and at 10+mil a pc ill prolly hold with my manahas and catch the next set when its released)
Now you need to share how you refarm 2 sissel worth of bracelets in just a week lol :3 . Hail all scout 3s!
I think im gonna get a double sissels honestly because the crit rate value is much better than glad bandās crit attack value also my head gear are all 120 physical attack and some have property attacks so its great.
Actually i was able to solo the dog eat dog quest on my lancer, it took me like 10-15 minutes to kill them (without dying)
Ya I prefer the sissels, my badge of honor so far was soloāng both stages of Demon Queen Gesti for the powerful being quest at the end of Tevhrin Caves. I came pretty close to pulling off the Zima Suecourt fight, I would just wait for his lightning storm then quickly drop arrow sprinkle and flare shot and run like a bitc* but eventually I gave up and grouped for it.
