Red Gem and Split Arrow

Will Red Gem increase the damage of Split Arrow? TBH, i can’t really figure out how split arrow damages.

There are times when i forgot to equip my 2 hand bow and when i figured it out, i will always see that there isn’t really a very big difference between when i equipped something and when i don’t have a weapon.

Well, anyways can anyone please enlighten me because i want to try putting red gems in my weapon so that i could at least increase Split Arrow damage but i am not really sure if it is worth it. Thanks a bunch.

Yes. Higher base damage = more damage. It will fluctuate violently though due to red gems only being max attack.

How will crit attack gem do in this scenario? i have confidence with my crit rate or is crit attack really that bad?

Crit attack values on yellow gems got a huge boost making them okay on main hand weapons. but so far the only class i have seen prefer them to red/greens is rogues. However i cannot personally compare them as i have yet to test yellow gems on my scout.

what do rouges have that made them good with crit attack?

I was wondering also if it is worth change mi green gems for red ones on my scout 3. It’s very rare what you are talking about, because the base damage makes huge difference on split arrow. Anyway, someone has tested split arrow + red gems (yellow ones maybe)?

I got +3k dmg (+6k on flying mobs) after the Update. Hollow Thorn Dungeon 145 for reference.

Currently 270 Str and 190 dex. I should have put more dex to get a Second Red gem for more efficiency. Ellaganos cards will save it!

I think my scout setup is pretty near the best atm, handles really well, I was even able to solo Demon Queen Gesti, both stages at the end of the Tevhrin Caves chain. Heres what mine looks like with an image of stats so you have an general idea;

Can i ask you for your numbers on split arrow? With green gems, 80 attribute, +15 superior wreexh bow im getting 11,5k on average, you should make some crazy damage.

Hi just to be clear, so you are saying that the +3kdmg was added when you slotted the 6star red gem right? :open_mouth: That’s a lot.

I did catch your STR: 270 and Dex: 190

What is your split arrow attribute?
Can you post your stats to like jchsc32?

after the update my split arrow went from 9k to 12k because i already had red gems on my bow and full physical attack head gear.

My Split arrow attribute is currently 65. Also, i compared the damage with the Red Gem already in my bow, Before [October 31] and after the Gem Update.

Rolled my stats for more Dex and x3 Red Gems LV6, feels good!

@myself I’m still using the Shade stuff because it has Blue Gems. Split arrow eat too much SP. x.X
