INT scaling is really bad, even for wizards. what ppl gona do when mobs have 1mil HP?
nobody will go solo if the mob hit 1 mil HP won’t happen. Even our bad boy TOP SWORDMAN wouldn’t do that =]
thats what i’m saying, cus see if max lvl is 600 and they are 300k at lvl 300, so they probably will hit close to 1mil, and INT scale bad so clercis won’t be able to solo and will need other classes
but right now, a PD can solo any map and be imortal with safety zone and other skill, same with druid
You dreaming and imagining future too much. Did u really think we are going to play to 600 lvl or even make it to 300 lvl lol. First thing first stick 1 character level it up 280 first before think about anything else because that ain’t going to happen and you will never what will coming next maybe the server will be close permanently due to people leaving the game.
And remember when u hit around 220+ u will see the problem with str build without a party =]

i just had an idea, we will end up just using barrier scrolls to kill those hard hiting mobs lol

Developers already saud, you MUST play Swordmans as TANKS, they developed the class to be just a TANK.
If you wanna be a Swordman-like type of class, like in RO1, make a “battle” Cleric.

Priest C3
Chaplain C1
Smite C2
InquisitorC1 (soon)
INT/CON build
And you’ll be rolling like a melee “machine gun” lol.
It is sad that a Cleric with a INT/CON build, dishes way, WAY more damage than a STR or DEX Swordie class build.

You REALLY, think a Rank 8 Swordie class is able to performe better than a Rank 8, Battle Priest+Chaplain+Paladin+Inquisitor with lvl 17 Buffs?
FYI I used to play both, Full STR Sqordies and Full DEX Swordies and thought just like you, tried a INT battle Priest+Chaplain+Paladin and I’m dishing way more damage than my previous builds using the same gear on both the swordie and Cleric. Besides the fact that as a Cleric, you need like no health pots, you have Heal+Pala HP Regen+Pala Elemental Def+Buffed smite and soon buffed Godsmack.
Sorry to break it to you but Cleric skill kit is better than any Swordman. Trust me been there done that.

dude u need to check some videos, some forum stuff, some stuff stuff, cus swordsman are top dps right now in kTOS…
and u are talking about paladin, there are barrier scrolls, nobody go paladin…
Stuff from kTOS is not that accurate for now due to these rank 8 classes being out there for a very short time.

Thats when the skill reset potions comes in.
Pretty sure a good Fencer/Dragoon Build are still top DPS exclusive only to WB.
As for AOE Dragoon are keeping up now.
For ET that is a different story all together, because ET is about party synergy.
If you want to star a Meele DPS / Heavy bruiser as a key star. Then you have to revolve your build around him.
It is easier to revolve a build around Elememe and SR because information are already out there and plans. Such as Krvis Meltis + diev + SR + meme. combo.
The term is too vague. If you are saying tankability. Honestly if you make enemies fall flat faster then they can hit. What is tankability. Which is happening in this case. I believe R8 is the start the change of the whole structure of TOS.
You guys haven seen how full Con wizard suffers at R8 now with the changes. Proper build Dragoons make Full Con aoe wizard look like a joke :V
What most people do not realize here is that in Tree of Savior, unlike most other mmorpgs, the Swordman (Warrior) path is NOT the no-brainer path.
Swordmen can dish out a lot of damage, even right now. But you need to put your brain to use and combo skills and class ranks - this is how Swordman are designed to work here. Most people can’t do this. All they can do is reroll into Copy-Paste-Mage and spam 3 buttons.
For example a lot of trash swordmen go Pelta1-Barb3 and wonder why they deal no damage. Might be because of 0 class synnergy and having no clue how to get damage out of their chosen path.
