Lure is not tank. Linker can lure, just worse
possibly with m.def, transcendent accessories and such you could get the magic damage numbers down. itâs possible they just added a % boost. you know koreon gamers, they make hardcore glass cannon builds and wait for devs to give out some invulnerability spells to everyone.

What is the point to complain about the Sageâs skill that render invincible to a certain amount of hits when it always have been the case with R1 cleric?
Murmillo wasnât supposed to be a tanking class =>" most offense-oriented of all the classes that use shields" so not having extra tanking abilities seems normal no?
It seems too easy to complain that our survability is low without doing some def investments. We donât have any information regarding their gears such as cards and accessories, so maybe he should buy some Nuaele cards and invest in some Magic Def jewelry instead of full DPS gear.
Iâm only lvl 258 and actually soloting every map (nearly all the kill counts) with a non meta build SW2/Pelt1/Hop3/Dragoon Full Con. I also have a mediocre stuff, the one I could farm alone: a pair of Glass bracelet, a max petamion, a Didel Tower shield, Knight plate set and only one 10* Nuaele Cards.
I was doing the 26X maps this week-end and saw that the damage werenât that high, around 100 from physical attacks (even from Red Spion Archer) and 400 from Magical damage. During stabbing, all the attacks were reduce to 1.
Throw on that the Grynas set (Plz Rngesus) and some more Nuaele Cards (actually giving way more than 1 Mres per star, got +35 from my 10*) and the situation wonât be that dire.
Glass cannon and going gung ho isnât always the only answer
, even more for tanks.

You can solo pretty much any map up to Maven, I did solo everything up to 270, and Iâm still soloing it up.
Some of the 26x maps are indeed easy to grind (workshop, storage etc) but Maven has mobs that deal 3k homing magic damage. You m.def matter less there
Ah, well the guy in the video is pelt 3 rodel 3 murmillo.
And coming from experience ( i have a full con pelt 3 rod 3 lvl 280) ET just sucks as tank because the magic damage is too high (i have sage wall, 2 lvl 10 nuelle card, 2 glass bracelet). And seeing my friend playing ktos take a lot more magic damage and mobs having ET lvl HP just made me sad.

and because of that strong magic attack that why we have Missile Hole.
Not only tanker ,everyone is this patch canât survive that attack too

The biggest Swordsman problem now is this game doesnât use âtabâ for target, and alot of mobs are easily dodged by ranged char because thats how the game design.
If the game is made like other mmorpg like WoW, I doubt Swordsmen will have any trouble in this game.
Just leaving my 2 cents.
There are three reasons why Swordsman is not very good right now.

They donât have a good DoT. (Damage over time skill)

The range on their skills is very short, and they need to be aimed properly at an unmoving target or the skill whiffs. Doppelâs Cyclone skill moves a Swordsman forward but it moves so slowly any player or boss can just move away from you to avoid your dps.

They have limited mobility with most builds. I was telling people how I wish I had a gap closer that was actually viable. Long Stride is my buildâs only option for doing this and it sucks. It takes too much time to travel the distance, when the Swordsman lands there are recovery frames in the animation so I have to sit there for a moment before being able to move. For comparison, I really like World of Warcraftâs Warrior skill Charge. I think ToS should take inspiration from that.

Cyclone is a doppel skill
Doppel is a Swordsman branch
- HL provides Bleeding. Itâs DoT.
- You canât move away if they have Restrain. Stun + Slow allows Doppelâs Cyclone to stick to most targets.
- Yes. Swordies dash should be less than Haste but much more than what it is right now. Dex could improve MS as you raise the stat. Use Long Stride only when enemy is hooked or to remove people from Safety Zone. Itâs a useless skill indeed if used in other scenarios.
Now, I donât think those are the three main reasons why Swordies suck (except for mobility). This is off topic so Iâll keep it to myself for the moment.

Honestly, I donât have any confidence in rank 8. Because rank 9 is unknown for dragoon, and rank 9 and 10 is unknown for murmillo. What happens if Dragoon C3 is filled with amazing stuff but all your points got spent in C2 and C1. Same for murmilo. Only thing futureproof in that is 1pt spent on the helmet. I think at max should be 1 pt spent on the various skills and then sit on the remainder till C2 murmillo is announced or you will fall into IMCs trap of buying skill resets every class release.
That is my plan. 1 pt into the murmillo helmet and nothing else. Gonna carry my class pick using the pelt and rodo attributes.
If I manage to hit 275 using non-murmillo buffed pelt+rodo combo, another 40 levels wonât kill us masochists.
and Rank 9 for fencer and doppel? if they donât add rapier and 2h sword at R9 ppl will go crazy o.O
I have a feeling most people in here will not able to make it to rank 8 and end up rerolling a cleric, mage, and archer. That is what i see right now
i donât like it, but iâm also considering a cleric alt, cus seeing how dmgs are BIG later on, a cleric2>bokor3>PD2 could be goodâŠ
