fletcher is boss oriented (WB and weekly boss raid and CM’s boss)
hunter is more jack of all trade, can do bossing, CC, loot buff, crit resist debuff.
i suggest pick fletcher only if you already have vaivora bow

my crit rate 3800 with buff still 47% crit chance vs vien cm mobs, ranger is good but need vaivora bow ichor , without that appraiser buff + debuff is much better because can support party too ,
Hi I’m a returnee stopped playing around 3 years back, heard the game’s much better now. Came back and realized that my class got reset(chara is 330 from back then) so I searched around for a meta bossing build and found this thread. Absolutely no idea what to do now as there’s lots of new content which made reading this thread slightly confusing.
Would like to ask if ranger-falc-mergen is good for bossing currently?
What’s new after 330, what equips should I be farming for?
Heard this build is quite popular now and I’m kinda looking to getting into it as well

best for bossing is fletcher-hunter-ranger, but it is not newbie friendly in term of cost to reach optimal level
and gameplay.
You can stick with rangerfalcomergen first. Dont buy any equip until you finish episode 11 quest and claim episode 11 savinose reward from quest list (press F5). For armor, pick leather set. Come back to this thread after you lv 400 and using episode 11 reward

Beware! Ranger fletcher hunter is bossing specialist, not very good for AOE mobbing. If you dont mind with that, use that build.
Ranget part, try to increase your critrate to >4k for optimal crit shot buff.
Oh and for fletcher part, vaivora bow is a necessity because it increase DPS significantly

I see… So I keep falconer til I get vaivoras and mergen til I get 4k crit rate?
it is back to your personal preference, do you like good bossing but bad AOE?
Your hunter stats can be increased further by using varna+good ichor

Both are good.
Ranger/Falc/Mergen is better for CMs and Dimension.
Ranger/Fletch/Hunter is really just for bossing/weekly boss.
Falconer/Merg/Hunter is interesting, not exactly sure how that works. I have an alt with that, and it’s strictly for supporting in CMs.

^whatever these guys advice. Can’t really go wrong, maybe ineffective, but not totally wrong. And it is difficult to be good at both things, aka boss vs mobbing/CM so you gotta make up your mind regarding this
Funny when I switched to fletcher on my main, we had the max level update. Cut it short Falconer shines atm due to party popularity caused of Aiming.
If you’re geared anyway, won’t much difference unless you’re aiming for #1 rank or something

btw @pozinho_baracat to simplified it:
ranger=buff
fletcher=bossing&debuff (need vaivora bow)
falcon=support+aoe burst (need toucan+2 high STR equip)
mergen=bossing&AOE
hunter= bossing&debuff (need pet with 4 high STR equip)
mix and match them to your personal preference

my progressing is good, i got all str con eva crit ichor , two weap ichor for insect and beast, drakonas frieno set, +16 wep set , gem 10 , got lucky from that godness roullet Lol

go make another weap ichor for mutant/cloth, you will need it for new unique/legend raid.
Just completed Ep11, got the rewards. Noticed that they give 5x weapon box, what do I do with the excess and what gears should I strive for in this build?
Wow everyone’s working so hard, it is nice that we still have a good playerbase for bow users despite the BB doppel meta.
I also believe multiple ichors will be our route, given that it is also cheaper now than before.
Though I have been inactive here, I’ve also been working on my main.
I still have to have vaivora bow myself, but afterwhich my crit rate will be hitting more than 5k by then. I still think it is better than upcoming pbeta bow, no?
Also do you guys use skill gems? Maybe I will switch since I think I will have excessive crit rate soon
Well if you’re new/returnee, all you need for this build are bow and the trinket. If you’re into weapon switching for fun maybe crossbow+shield at most. Other than that you can just save the rest for your other classes.
Sorry if I’m going a little off topic here, but I see many people using skiaclipse equipments, is this what I should be working towards?
Currently they are BiS so if you want gears that can last for a good amount of time then yes. Otherwise you can do story quest episode that gives free Savinose armor and weapon set in the mean time
