Yes but there is a big difference between lv5 and lv10 concentrate. Lv5 gives you 13 hits with 20s cooldown. Lv10 gives you 20 hits with 20s cooldown. It’s a pain to work with only 13 hits in a 20s timespan, whereas 20 hits with 20s cooldown gives you essentially 100% uptime considering skills count as 1 hit.
Plus, you can probably expect a buff to concentrate soon considering blessing got a buff to scaling recently.
So if pvp became an even bigger part of the game people above who have complained about sw2 will be more understanding?

are you shinobi now? no problems with clones copying Double Slash even though you are using 2h sword? I’m actually planning to do the same path. taking advantage of the bleeding effect (assuming a boss can bleed) for Double Slash with clones, then the staggering effect of Cross Guard for Kunai.
Shinobi has this bug wherein sometimes it doesnt copy the skill you do a notice would be spammed something like “you cannot do bla bla bla”
sword doesnt need petalsta to get pve or end game content, i m a doppel c2 myself with end game eqp high refined weap and high attributes, i pass earth tower easily as a aoe dps, and my grinding i dun need ignorant idiots who doesnt realize my dps, back then i was carrying archers in maven abbey while grinding my last few lvls (lul), here is a screenshot of my physical attack, i can easily crit for 26k and above every 0.3 sec with cyclone against cloth mob, and doing over 22k dmg 1 skill against plate mob with every charges of 0.5 sec cartar stroke.

is just most swords doesnt rlly know how to play as dps thus making the entire sword looks like ■■■■, sword isnt "easy’ mode as claimed by the game developer, ele3 warlock is the easy mode.
and thread starter, dont generalize every single sword just because the few u met are wrongly built or doesnt know how to play /doesnt have the eqp/ doesnt invest in attributes as dps.
another thing is if u wanted to play swordsman, ur gonna have to work harder den any1 else and put x3 the effort of other classes, the dmg is there, just harder to achieve as only with the best equipment and maxed attribute the DPS will show that it is OVER ele3 warlock of the same eqp and attributes, due to critical hits, early game swordsmen cannot be used as an examples unlike ele3 warlock where they only need 1 animus to start showing their dps, thanks.
and for all the dps swords, plz…raise ur skills attribute and refine ur weapon the higher the better, and get weapon maintenance and buffs at town always before doing anything, stop embarassing the entire class by being cheap and poor.

There’s a difference between taking highlander 1 and swordsman c2. Swordsman c2 sucks (for PvE). Which is what the thread starter was getting at. Highlander c1 is actually really good.

You are high str with okay crit rate, highlander fits perfectly. The argument is about sword 2. Please raise your attribute on reading OR at least read the thread before barging in.
And yes, Sword becomes comparable to other dps classes after you spend a lot. Your screenshot proves it. I can go bring in other classes and deal the same with less spent on gear and attributes, as well as not needing to setup DOV/Warcry/Frenzy.

of course i dont. i just felt that there have been significantly increasing number of swordies who don’t play the class correctly. build-wise and gameplay-wise
now if only people like you would make more guides that include a warning that the class can’t deal amazing damage right out of the box, the world will definitely a better place.

from people I talked to and research I’ve done, it sounded like clones would not copy basic attacks with a 2h sword, but they would copy skills. I ASSUME those skills are just as strong as they should be. But its a risky play on the hope that any issues that do exist will be fixed eventually
Hmm. I’m also basing it on assumptions as well. If you get there I’d appreciate it if you can confirm, it’s the only Shinobi build that I would play. 
I don’t like spears. 
While I dont hate dps swordmans, i do get ticked off by those who just take s2 just because ‘i am dps, fck peltasta’ and their reason to pick s2 is for lv 10 concen and gungho (and lv5 restrain, but getting it for pvp is a valid choice. No complaints there)
Recently i found a cata who doesnt even learn the provoke attribute because ‘i am dps’. I guess running around following a boss poking with bonus 10ish damage is better than hitting at them consistently at close range with the occasional manual dodge. (Yes he doesnt even learn the attribute, probably didnt know you can turn those off if the situation calls for it. I doubt you turn it off unless theres another swordman with better tanking capability in the party though…)
