I don’t have too try too hard with how you seem to get rustled by so many posts on this thread. You should try relaxing in life and maybe play league of legends
Hm ? How can you know if I’m not relaxed ? Do you have some kind of magical skills like Valkoria ?
Oh wait, I get it, you’re butthurt.
How can anyone take you seriously when you say something like this? Do you know nothing about how league of legends started and how poor its early years were?
Are… are you projecting right now???
Veterans know that ToS wasn’t ready to be released at that time, even at the current state it’s far behind an acceptable state.
IMC is really trying to fix the game and i believe they’ll get there eventually, probably late 2018 (taking their pacing) we’ll have a decent game enviroment where all classes have some degree of relevance. I’ve played RO for at least 7 years and through those years there was only ONE patch that tried to fix some of the class issues, so i really appreciate IMC for acknowledging their problems and their will to solve them.
What they did to this event is wrong in several aspects as stated here (i linked before but it was broken due a typo) and they should review it for the next time, but again these changes have to be done.
The same question is strangly really accurate when it’s directed to you .
And so what ? You’re off topic there.
Nope. You know, there is a feature on ToS forum now which shows if someone is replying to the topic. You did it like 5 times ? You were deleting your messages all the time yesterday. I’m not the one “projecting”, just look at what you said. You assumed I had more than 15 characters, that I was a kid, a troll, and had no clues about game design. You were wrong on all your points…
In a way, LoL too. It was really damn unbalanced, full of bugs and problems. But they actually acted and tried to make their game stable and not just add cash shop all the time like IMC do. Now LoL is throwing a lot of cash shop items like skins, chromas, icons… but they can do it because they could develop all their teams.
All in all… If they have the possibity to provide at least one reset for every characters people have, why didn’t they do it ?
What’s the logic behind it ? So people don’t “abuse” it ? What is there to abuse… ? At the end of the event, people will be “stuck” again with one final build. They won’t be able to change again.
It doesn’t matter if you think it’s enough or not, that’s actually not the point.
The point is that IMC could have made sure everybody’s happy because their 15-30 useless characters could have all gotten a reset. But nope. For some reason, they didn’t do it.
Why do you allow people to have up to 30 characters if they spend money on your game but at the same time you tell them only 14 of their characters can have a reset during a “Reset Event” ?
Even if I suppose we’ll have a new event once the other trees are balanced/modified, what I don’t understand is why they keep adding these useless restrictions on their game and events. What purpose do they serve ? Is IMC just enjoying frustrating people ?
And they did the same, fixed through time by testing a lot of different ways to release and fix content.
They did had a frenzy release period with 2 new characters per moth having at least 2 skins which is a money grab (see the parallels here?) while ice boxing the ones that can’t be fixed in short time. It took them at least 3 years to do intensive reworks, by doing so they managed to focus on maitaining the playerbase and increase income with a fairly cheap cost of ditching the issues.
The thing is, for MOBA’s you can easily swipe failures under the rug cause they the genre don’t have the same commitment as an MMO. MOBA’s work with personal investment where you have to get better to play when MMO’s take the character investment and they’re the ones that have to improve.
Again, they can do it since they already have a foundation for it and a huge playerbase that extends around the world. Also they’re really transparent about how they work, we don’t have a clue about how IMC handle things nor how big they are in comparison (in fact i think they imported a lot of Riot phylosophies).
IMC don’t have the option to ignore their mistakes cause liking it or not people will still pick those underwhelming classes (unless the disable those from advancement). In fact i dare to say that they’re doing a decent job on their rework schedule, all changes are gradual (tree by tree) and as frustrating it can be they’re preventing players to be flooded with reworks even if they miss some things (RIP Oracle).
What? lol?
Anyways, thank you for the entertainment.
No money grab here, it is just showing they were really fast compared to IMC, and they had not a big team when the game started.
And so the thing is, do what you’re capable of. Don’t start a big project if you can’t follow it.
It is what I say.
No one has this option.
