Im going PD man, not Pardoner
May I ask how was the leveling experience?
Iām currently building a full support mage and considered making a full support cleric, but the leveling scares me.
For leveling get cleric 2 1st rather than priest 1 those heal 11x2 will be a big help in killing boss/mobs that will be your main killing skill you can also use cureā¦ Other than that its all auto attack for you (use cafrisun set + arde + blessing + sac) until you reach 200++ which require a party to grind.
well I donāt recommend it for solo play, unless you are very patient.
I did all my quests duo with a swordie with taunt, I did all my dungeons and missions every day and when I had time I did dailies too.
I am now lvl242 plague doctor and did 0 grind.
I still have lvl10 and lvl11 cards but I donāt plan to use them til after lvl250. Now Iāll just do the 240 dungeon with exp tome and missions as I donāt have that much time during the week.
Unfortunately the dailies donāt give cards higher than lvl9 and thatās no longer useful.
Saalus missions donāt give exp but they are kinda fun to do and there is always the (slim) hope that you will drop something good.
I will probably have to grind the last 20 lvls from 260 to 280.
I am really not sorry for choosing krivis. people skip it because they say they will buy daino scrolls but I havenāt seen anyone get one. Also the debuffs stack well with incinerate if you are going the priest3-chap route I donāt imagine what debuffs of your own you can apply to make incinerate work.
Bloodletting is love, healing factor seems good on paper but I think people are not used to it yet, at least most people never step on it only by mistake when I place it. Still not sure about how many points I should place in fumigate I think I will place only 1 point for now and keep incinerate at 4. Planing to use the skill reset I have anyway after I get to 280 and test the full build. Also not sure about blessing/sacra/aspersio distribution. They are already starting to seem underwhelming.
Hey, I also took Kriv into PD as a Chap (not sure if you specifically chose chap, but at least you have levels in priest!)
So far my first build was max sac and aspersion, but it left my mass heal 5, so I respecād and drop my sac down to 1 so I can max mass heal, ress, and the rest into revive. Iām aware stoneskin isnāt -that- awesome if I donāt stack SPR, but seeing as I do carry Daino, it probably doesnāt hurt to cast it if thereās no other SPR priest3 in the party. Maybe itāll block 1 stray attack and if it blocked something then it isnāt a complete waste.
I skipped chap entirely as picked cleric2 which I feel is kinda needed to heal enough. Also maxed my mass heal, res and revive. Iām not keen on taking out points from these because places like saalus convent really hurt. Plus I feel like bless and sacra will be useless soonā¦ (due to their non scaling) so far I have 5 5 5 not sure if to lower aspersio to 1 as itās hard to hit on multiple targets. Only have 50 point invested in spr so far.
If I plan on going Priest C3 Chaplain for support, what is the most important stat I should be raising? SPR for buffs or INT for healing?
Should I go,
3:1:2 INT : CON : SPR
OR
2:1:3 INT : CON : SPR
Only for structured pvp you want very little spr, as thereās next to no block penetration there.
For everything else you likely want some spr, letās say 1/3th due to people stating no spr stone skin tapers off in pve.
But the exact ratio is up to you, intās dmg and healing isnāt needed but certainly helpful. Sprās is arguably overkill past a certain point, but i canāt say when or if that happens myself.
As a Priest C3, running 100-130 will give you enough block with Stone Skin 5 (6 with Divine Might) to cover you for PVP.
It also doubles as some magic defense and status resist.
Rule of thumb, if you are going for support in pvp, get SPR. Forget about damage status as your job is to be a pain in the ass and keep your group up.
If you want to melt peoples faces and be off support, go STR or INT depending on your damage type.
Hi, your guide is pretty good. Iām thinking about a support paladin (healadin), but I am quite confused about stats. Should I focus Str/Con/Int or Str/Con/Spr? If I dont spend any points in Int do my healings will be lacking?
Int is never mandatory in terms of healing, besides restoration gives a bonus anyway to your healing so paladins are ok in that regard regardless of stat.
For paladins iād still go full str atm, with around 100 con for defenses. Spr is unnecessary, just use spr regen headgear, potions & firewood instead.
See this test thread for a more detailed showcase of str vs dex:

.
Thereās some new claims of dex being stronger, but canāt verify it with the tiny amount of information given.
(mostly boiled down to 1:2 or 1:3 str:dex and requires a lot of gems. + monstrance ideally.)
Thank you for the reply.
About Plague Doctor, does Incineration scales with INT?
Does anyone know the current state of transmit prana? [Sadhu C3 Skill]
Ask @BlaXun if and when he gets back, last time he tested it was borked and did absolutely nothing.
@Skorpian:
Yes, itās a magic dmg skill after all.
Why people choose blooletting over beak mask?
The only pro is the duration, but thinking about rank 8, beak mask shoujo be better.
Bloodletting is party wide, beak mask is not.
Any toughts on a Cleric 2 Diev2 paladin 3?
Sounds like a good zoning combo.
Iām currently Cleric 2 Diev 1 pally 1 and unsure where to go and what to lvel(STR or INT) going pally 3for sure tho
Wanted Diev 2 because the owl looks just so nice, and zoning enemies with world tree + barrier would be much cool. But I donāt think itās good without int :<
any help appreciated.
Itās viable, just not the best option imo.
Youāll get limited use out of carve world tree, as barrier can prevent a lot of dmg on itās own. (every mob skill can only be used if a enemy is within range, which is usually quite short. Hiding behind barriers is suprisingly effective vs all mobs.
Carve Owl will steal deal a good chunk of dmg, on a int build i already deal 2300 dmg per hit on average. Thatās only with 300 ish int and lvl 20 enhance. And thereās 3 hits per owlās attack.
Plus it being on a 105s cd isnāt so great for most content tbh. Higher level carve attack is most often going to be overkill, but nice none the less.
Kabbalist/Plague Doctor seem more future proof imo, and pd especially helps by adding a semi spammable dmg skill.
Ein Sof/Healing factor are also just really good support skills, which imo diev2 lacks.
Can we attack melee mobs on melee range without being hit, while inside barrier?
Also, Carve world tree would give a nice advantage over magic enemies that barrier canāt provide? And is this advantage good enough for melee classes to enjoy hitting things without worry
Iām considering kappalist because that skill with the rolling balls is just too fun(also cant tell if itās good without INT, Iām more into STR), maybe diev can be better(fun-wise, or just really frustrating by failing to land the owl Dx ), and Kabba offers ein sof. Thanks for reply btw :>
