hmm
I’d like to know if getting chaplain after priest 3 is really worth it
seems like people don’t know to use capella and aspergilium is not a party buff right?
It’s worth it, it’s a huge boost to your own dps and helps with leveling/farming a ton. (doesn’t affect allies even with spiritual link iirc.)
And Capella will buff allies within range, so you can alternate between it and stone skin to keep stone skin up 24/7.
But most players even run out safety zone circles, so don’t expect clever tactics from them just yet.
i’m not that much interested in my own dps because I don’t lvl alone and I was wondering if it’s not better to go for heals instead and just focus on being a full support
still thinking
A friend is playing with a char that will be a Paly/Monk, but he changes his mind and take Chapy. He put a lot of points in STR and none in INT.
The aspergillium dmg difference between us is only the aspersion difference (lv 1 vs lv 12).
I’m full INT
Why?
PS: Sorry for bad english
The attribute only effects the duration of the capella not the buffs. That being said There are a couple of ways to ensure people are getting buffed by it.
After you make a capella throw some heal tiles in it, when people need healing they will end up auto buffing themselves. I also created a macro to inform people they need to run in and out of the buff. I mostly use it for myself though to keep stone skin up 100% of the time for boss fights. If people don’t catch on after I’ve told them I usually don’t worry about it and don’t bother buffing until the capella duration is up as it’s a waste of a cape to use it and still cast buffs. The only exception is if I actually get a tank at which point I just manually cast stone skin if the tank is not in a position to be able to run into the buff zone.
This game is a bit different for support characters in my experience. Rather then bang your head against a wall trying to explain buffs (although I could go on quite a long rant as it is about how some buffs require often time uninformed players to do stuff themselves, i.e capella and statute ausrine) I tend to just focus on keeping buffs up for myself and not always worry about getting everyone with my buffs.
Do you have the same equipment? if he has more magic attack from rods/blunts or +elemental dmg it will boost his aspergillum hit.
Aside of that if you didn’t level the aspersion enhance attribute yet then str & int chaplains should do similar damage.
But it shouldn’t boost aspergillum’s hit itself, but rather the basic auto atk hit.
Only the Aspergillum part of your damage is affected by your INT. Just like only the first hits damage is affected by STR.
You get more use out of INT then he does out of STR, but it requires your Asperion attribute to be leveled. (or fight monsters weak to holy)

-> support class
-> need party to grab the buffs/in range
-> party doesn’t care
-> you stop caring
No and he is lv 170 and I 130.
He discovered that the dmg counter in screen is bugged and showing more dmg than reality.
I’m very disaponted with my Chap. I’m following the PD Chaplain build.
Recently I make the Legwyn’ Family DG. Dmg at 150-200 with all the buffs.
It’s very ridiculous. I died and the others two Priests in the party refused do Ressutect me.
question: what are the spell scrolls that pardoners make called? i wanted to check how much they’re being sold for but i cant find anything :v
“Skill Scroll” or “Dispeller”.
thank you so much for all the quick and precise replies man, you rock.
I levelind a new char. A Cleric c1> krivis c1
I really want to do more dmg, what I take next?
I think about Bokor, because I really like Bokor
I’m playing with an archer friend and we will probably level together most of the time. She is interested in auto-attack builds, so it seems that priest c3 is the way to go for me. But I also really enjoy melee (/hitting enemy repeatedly with a blunt object), so I guess I shouldn’t go with an INT build? How viable is a support cleric2 priest3 auto-attack STR build? Is paladin the best option?
I’d also like to know if it’s viable to level all the way to the max level without having a full party (just an archer and a cleric). This way I don’t have to worry about supporting a whole party with heals, and can probably avoid cleric2…
I’d say go for a chaplain build, you get last rites to boost your friend’s dmg and aspergillum to boost your own auto atk dmg. (granted it’s magic dmg on melee hit, but w/e.)
Or priest3/monk2+ can work. But it’s not focused on auto attacks.
Leveling wise most non dungeon/mission content can be done solo with relative ease. So teaming is up fine.
For dungeons/missions you’ll want to team up for the best experience though. And there you should aim to be a healer to some extent.
Cleric2 mostly shines in Earth Tower, but priest3 can do that content as well. (though not as smoothly, but it is possible for floors 1-5.)
Thank you so much!! Chaplain for me then.
Honestly I would avoid getting STR in a chaplain build. All it does is boost the damage on your 1st hit of auto-attack, which is one of your weakest.
INT/SPR for aspergillum damage and better heals/buffs is the way to go.
You can fit cleric2 in the build right after chaplain and still get a r7 class at the end or a r6 like druid or oracle.
Yeah INT seems better, it’s just that I’ve already put some points in STR and don’t really feel like starting over. I can wait for a stat reset potion (if it will be eventually available in the TP store) or just get used to not having an optimized build. So long as it’s viable endgame I’m fine, doesn’t have to be the best.
I highly doubt that stat reset potions will be in the TP shop. There is one in the highest-level founders pack which is 50% off now though, and you get the TP to boot.
How many points have you invested in STR?
I’m thinking of going cleric c2, priest c3 and druid c2, with almost all into int, will it work out okay? it’ll be a struggle doing quests and everything else until i read druid though right?
