Preliminary Announcement Regarding Current Account Restrictions

Did you kill any mobs in the past week? You’re an abuser, too.

Stop trying to act like you’re not, exploiter.

What would happen to players who, for example, sold items to NPC shops?

I got it you guys don’t want to punish players who acquired the items if they didnt know it was a bug. But letting them keep ONE ITEM is pretty big sometimes. Do you agree? Monster gems, Battle Bracelets, Yellow Caro’s…

Also, one question: Items acquired via market, what will happen?
Hypothesis 1 -
Player X drops an item using the bugged DPK.
Player Y buys it from the market, without the knowledge that it was dropped during the bug.

Player X will have his account restricted according to our announcement, but what will happen to Player Y and his item? The logical answer is “nothing”, but I need you to confirm this.

Do you really believe that among all these players there aren’t any that were abusing but didn’t sell/trade the items before the maintenance? Because from where I am, a lot of abusers (people that went to the farming zones only to stock up items to sell later) are getting away with it because they didn’t sell anything, and as you can see by the GM reply, only those that traded/sold stuff are being actually punished.

Players that have only traded 1:1 once or sold a single item in the market will be punished the same as players who have done it in mass?

Because a lot of new players that got to lvl 300 quickly because of the event didn’t know what was happening, they didnt even knew how Hunting Grounds works,(especially because IMC said that the bug was FIXED after the emergency maintenance) so by dropping cubes (even if it wasnt like 50 of them) they could’ve sold them or traded them.
Thus, punishing them would be completely unfair

The accounts getting “restricted” should only be the ones that sold/traded DPK itens in mass

Right?

So you’re saying someone should get banned for vendoring or selling an item they got over the past week? Just because you guys messed up the drop rates? Again, how is that THEIR fault for YOU making the game drop too many items? I honestly don’t think anyone should be banned long term for this error. This is YOUR screwup, not any player exploiting anything. Take responsibility, don’t blame it on players who only farmed mobs, the entire point of this game.

God, do you even read? players who knew that there was something wrong happening and tried their “best” to take advantage of the that will be block(not permanently tho) so if some1 only sold a few items won’t get banned

Do YOU even read? Their vague wording means a lot of innocent people who traded items will be banned simply because IMC won’t take responsibility for their own mistakes.

I guess you weren’t around for when they banned people for “crashing” channels who were just people who happen to be in the channel when it happened a few months ago. IMC does not have a good history for treating players fairly.

@Queue That’s correct. Banned accounts will not be compensated.

@renaan_avila Players who only bought the affected items will not be punished with further game access restrictions.

@charles.payne.86 We don’t intend to ban players who sold the items to NPCs, only those who traded them via the Market or personal trade.

@gabriel.c.fotografia The various degrees of restriction periods (if any distinction is to be applied) are still under discussion and should be announced separately. Any account that traded the affected items via Market or personal trade is expected to be banned for a certain period of time.

Let me see if I get this right, people that abused the bug are actually being rewarded? Really IMC?! WTH

No the innocent players caught up in this BS are being rewarded.

Perfect! If I could make a suggestion, make it clear in the announcement, I know it shouldn’t be necessary, but based on the responses here, apparently it is.

What if you bought some, realized price was plumetting so put some on ah some at a loss. They never sold afaik.

Cê tem probleminha cara? quem apenas jogou normalmente serao recompensando pois estamos sem jogar até agora por um erro deles. Quem abusou comercializando os itens serão punidos. Conseguiu entender ou precisa que desenhe?

You guys have logs of the items, right?! Because I was selling a hunting ground bottom at the time of the block, but it was not from the DPK fiesta. Just so I can be sure of it.

Not gonna lie, watching the GMs trying to justify this compensation that will most likely be sent to all blocked accounts is kinda sad… Yea I know they’re going to punish those who sold items but I doubt they’re many…

is that so? why isn’t my acc blocked then? moron…

in wich situation these players are getting compensated? 'cause they didn’t know there was a bug going on while they were dropping multiple rare drops per minute? they must have thought “my luck has really changed, now I don’t have to share my sissels with my other chars, since I can craft a pair to each one of them”… give me a break, word spread. there’s a forum, shout and common sense.

that compensation makes me wish I had done something

I still can’t believe you’re banning anyone for this at all. For selling an item or two on the marketplace that dropped extra from YOUR mistakes? What kind of message does that send? Don’t sell anything ever because it might be bugged and you’ll be punished for it?

So, to everyone understand… All the player that aren’t suspended/can log in and play will receive all these items too?:
