Can’t we just nerf OP for bitching too much?

Hello Everyone… Thread Starter here lol…

So I wanna explain, why Psychokino must be nerf.

  1. RAISE SKILL, this skill almost cant be dispelled by anything , even beak mask(80% immunity rank3 status ailment) Plague Doctor.
    In TBL psycho c3 - warlocks build winning the match so easy with them combo.
    The combo is : Magnetic Force -> RAISE -> Pole Of Agony -> dark theurge -> etc… (other skill pyscho like psyc pressure, Gravity Pole , etc…)
    So if RAISE cant be dispelled by anything , everybody will always be fly and die easily with this combo

  2. MAGNETIC FORCE SKILL, this skill is same with RAISE, cant be dispelled, except some skill from oracle, but is not work to PD beak mask

  3. PSYC PRESSURE SKILL, this skill can inflicts damage and hold enemy (CC) Very Long , idk the duration of CC, but I think the duration of CC is too long, fortunately it can be dispelled by beak mask PD.

The Summary Is Please Nerf these skill, especially for RAISE and MAGNETIC FORCE in TBL, Please increase the cooldown, duration skill and they are should be include in ailment status and can be dispelled by PD skill.

I think the nerf of Psychokino will be balanced the game , especially in TBL ( Team Battle League)

OP just proved that he knows nothing about psychokino.
A word of advice : learn to play against it and stop asking for nerfs when you don’t like how the class works.

I know about pyschokino… just play another class and againt psychokino… then you cant talk it anymore…

Shouldn’t you ask for PD/Cleric to be nerfed too?
Safety Zone
Beak Mask
Heal tiles
Bloodletting
Prophecy (oracle)
Healing factor
Ausrine (if From Diev path)
Magic Counter (from Oracle1)

These skills are OP for other classes to deal with too, you know.

Point is, your Cleric is built to do those things, may it be pvp or pve. Not to mention you exel at PVE too since almost everyone at the top level requires a healer and that’s you.

On the otherhand, Kino is never wanted in PVE… They do exel at PVP though - which what they are built for.

Cast time of Raise is enough time to fire both a Full Draw and/or use Hanging Shot in that scenario.

Use of Magnetic Force is automatic use of one of the above because Magnetic Force>Raise is a bread and butter pvp combo used really commonly.

Full Draw and/or Hanging Shot beats it 100% of the time I’m afraid. I suggest testing it privately, it’s very worth knowing this for any future 2v2s you get into with Hunter/Falconers or just generally the proper pvp archers who have put points into Full Draw.

You need to do something that’s a full CC first, Magnetic Force is just a root and allows the other person to perform skills while they’re in it. Alternatively if you catch them during the startup of another move or while they’re CCd by freezing or something then you’re absolutely fine.

For something like swordies or Clerics this is a somewhat tougher scenario to defend against. But Archers can defend against it with very good success. Wizards can but it’s dependant on what classes they’ve taken. Clerics will need certain skills to not be on CD though and some of those ones have pretty large cooldowns, they’re usually better off staying behind their team and adequately supporting. Unfortunately a lot of pvp Clerics don’t actually get in the correct safe positions.

Also, you can sleep --> raise, or raise --> swap, or teleport --> raise, or just raise when your team mate land a small CC

The problem with raise isn’t how you land it (quite easy, not 100% of the time but quite easy). The problem with raise is one you are hit by it, you are dead. There’s no counter play

You’re overselling Sage’s missile hole, archers aren’t even complaining about it on ktos.

Blocks: 4 + (Skill Lv -1) x 3 -> Lv5: 16 hits

Maximum 16 hits blocked on a WHOLE party that it affects.

One multishot breaks it. Mergen will laugh at it with their multihit aoes.

It’s not like archers don’t have a load of none-missile type attacks anyway. All Hunter skills, all Falconer skills, caltrops, explosion aoes (the arrow is a missile but the aoe explosive is physical) the list goes on.

Sure you can cast sleep. It’s not very easy to hit with though against anyone that knows how to play. I feel like you’re stretching more and more to present this as easy when it is not if an opponent knows how to react properly and how to play. We can go back and forth on this for days and days and the longer the list of possible options gets the more it just demonstrates that it’s not really all that broken, people just play the situation too slowly and without knowing the correct response.

Most people’s immediate reaction to root CCs is to panic and try to move instead of engaging the appropriate counter skill. That’s the only reason gravity+raise works. The rest of this is a diversion. It’s ok for us to disagree.

Pressing 1 correct button when an enemy is using a certain skill?

If magnetic hit 2 people or more, it’s a stun, not root.

If you can stand there and charge multishot, I’m pretty sure any decent kino can just out right kill you already.

Missile hole is just there for the initial protection. As long as it blocks ONE skill, it is enough time to throw Raise.

Also we are forgetting about how should melee deals with that.

I’m really not here to play pvp in text format. This is a pointless conversation at this junction, the point that was made was that there are counters and that it’s not really overpowered unless people play silly.

The problem is not the skill. It is a complete refusal of too many people to bother learning the options they have.

I’m not going to say that there aren’t broken skills with not enough counters. There most certainly are, for example Broadhead bleeding… I don’t agree that Raise is one of them though.

Ugh, guess I’ll have to accept that kino reign supreme on top of PvP leaderboard because people are all dumb then.

P.S: there are many counters to broadhead bleeding. You need to learn those options.

This problem will be solved when you can make pre-mades and don’t have to rely on teammates that aren’t your friends who run into the CCs .

Yes. Because they seem to play at 800 rating or so.

God forbid they don’t walk glued to each other and someone there saving a CC or hard hitting AoE for the extremely telegraphed “Kino combo”.

the core of the problem in this game isn´t one class…It´s everyFUCKINGthing!
CC in this game is too much! I never seen a game with a 10+ sec sleep~freeze~float~etc~etc~etc…
this is retarded, and even WOW with a LOT less time in cc have trinkets to reduce the issue (and even with that they still have problems to balance).

I spent 2 months on my kino and when they finally had the battle league update… my kino got nerfed. I will never get that time back.

What do I do now? Spend another 2 months leveling another character—what if that class gets nerfed next? I guess I could quit while I’m… well… behind. I spent a decent amount of money on this game and time and now I’m lost.

My Kino gets wrecked every time I go into PVP. Don’t even want to play PVE because the costumes and fun items in the game are upwards of $25 a pop. T_T

So bummed out…
