Plans for Combat System Changes

It is abit too early to figure out, I expect another major change will happen end of this week.

Anyway, given the state now. I’m a Thaumaturge specialist, currently playing a WizardC3ThaumC3Warlock2 to maximize the damage number, but with those changes, I see greater potential and will change into Pyro3Thaum3Enchanter.

More like

Red = Offensive (burst, DoT, you name it)
Blue = Defensive (soft/hard CC, defensive buff)
Green = Support (heals, offensive buff, status protection, transformation, links)
Yellow = Utility (summons, crafting, whatever the heck didn’t fit into the other 3)

just make it short… simple yes or no :smiley: … once that patch hits will lower rank dps skills be of normal use in 300+ tiers… :smiley: thanks for the short and direct ans. :smiley:

The scaling is still absurd for high ranks, they didn’t really solve the problem the previous system had. It’s just a new coat of paint.

are you sure?cuz my full draw never hit more than 5k dmg ans now its even higher than that. please give us some examples to show that its a paint plz

and also as i kow some lower rank actully do more dmg than r8 classes, just the % is super high doesnt mean its high dmg, u need to see the hits and overheats and cds etc. such as backstab vs sharqsomrthing slash from hakka

Some skills do have really high scaling. Like godsmash lv1 already gives 1260%, 3 overheats with 30sec cooldown.

Perhaps some mid level classes are still too underbuffed, hence making the difference really big.

Depends on class actually.

Low rank skills are way stronger than before and multi hits are nerfed because blessing is way stronger than before.

Both of these same base damage, those of HG315 still gave STR and critical rate which would be better for a DPS than DEX15 (until today I did not intend this for an INT8 SRDPS) and if they are like HG low lvl they can come with 2 or 3 sockets ?
I think imc should give a better buff to these weapons because prac is not easy to get …

Hunting Ground items will not be easy, you have a chance to drop a cube that when you open has a chance to come a random outfit. Its a rng inside a rng.

Thats why i said before, they need buff practo wepons.how can hg item compare with practo weopons. But some stupid guy with white specs agrees that 315 hg should pair with practo

I hope the new Legendary grade of weapons doesn’t end up ruining the frail balance we have there, the rare and the unique were pretty balanced (depending on the weapon and if u wanted it for PVP or PVE) i hope Legendaries doesn’t break that

It takes at least 2 or 3 weeks for you to leave a char 317 and then still expect your luck to come the practonium in the box, the item there is dropped complete and ready to use
No arguments, imc need to balance these weapons better or who has already made 1 practonium weapons will not have value for sale or exchange for the current value …
I do not think anyone who drops these new 315 in HG will sell for 30kk +

My question is how long will the event last? I’ve got around 20 characters and this complete overhaul of combat system is messing my stat build on all chars. If one can get one stat reset per day, I would need 20! days to adjust my character builds. Why can’t you make separate count for reset items on character basis?

According to the staff post, you get one complete reset per character per day. As in every character can be reset once a day. But of course we will have to wait and see what happens in the coming months. The post said they are aiming for early summer to begin implementing changes.

well, you can easily guess that the legendary weapon will be ~20-25% more effective than unique, if you consider upgrading and transcending into account.
Meanwhile, the difference between rare and unique seems way higher (around 1/3 - 40% better) and the introduction of legendary will most likely only have an impact on the players using rare grade as they can skip unique grade entirely (which requires twice the amount of Practoniums per weapon or hours sunk into Solmiki stages…).

Let’s just hope that they don’t make such crazy and random substats for legendary gears as they did for unique and rare practonium gears.
