yup, of course is the first 1. the server will collect hits per second from database. i mention 0.5s but 1s work great to tolerate higher ping.

while the animation cn be reduced from client.

It mean only 1 click is required for each second to return the right number of hits in display, it will reduce the burden of both server and client, as well as avoid player smashing the button too hard. while adding a new element in attacking mechanic and making all auto-attack build viable.

not exactly specially since it doesnt have to be calculated… every time per second as he thinks.

they said early summer so june would be the expected time, they will however give daily resets for stats/skills/ranks with how massive this changes are so i can expect people to actually try what they like before settling on every char (and since this is more a compensation for remaking the game)

How about DOV&DWA, Quicken skills when the aspd come out? Will it stack with those skills or not? Every class can hit fast if they build dex, then DOV&DWA ,Quicken will belong to history?meh"

From what I’ve read, I really like the changes. I do have some suggestions for the stats though.

STR: I like the idea of STR increasing the number of monsters you hit regular attacks by a small but worthwhile amount.

CON: I like the effects for CON. I’d rather see summon attack/defense effected by CON rather than SPR. I feel like it makes more sense logically for a summoned creature to draw is strength from the summoner’s vitality than spirit. I also feel like it would work better for gameplay. Summoner types may have less INT or SPR than a full casting type, but the make up for it with higher durability and strong summons.

INT: I know it may sound weird, but I really feel like INT should increase critical attack chance. The reason being that a smarter swordsman will focus his attacks on critical areas rather than foolishly pounding away as hard as possible. As for gameplay, it works well by incentivizing a more diverse build without punishing you for not going for it.

SPR: Remove summon attack/defense from SPR and move to CON. I think it would be great to have stamina recovery speed effected by SPR.

DEX: I like DEX, but I really feel like it should also reduce charge time for skills with charges. In the case of Wizard class characters, an extremely high investment in DEX should have the same effect as the Wizard skill Quick Cast, allowing players to further diversify build choices while still remaining competitive.

I’d like to do a more comprehensive writeup of these ideas, but it’ll have to wait until a little later.

200-400 times per sec was a low estimate on average.

  • Linkers alone can hit 200 damage ticks within fractions of a second in a party.
  • Frost cloud can hit 45 times a sec.
  • Hamaya can hit 30 times a second.
  • Pyro linker can hit close to 50 times a second.

You would need to calculate a new random number for each instance, and compare it to the mobs defense, which in many cases would have different values. Anyone with some comp sci/programming background would know that using that many log calculations in a real-time environment would be a poor idea.

And for INT, I hope it can reduce cast time or reduce CD time maximum of 30% also something cool in diversify the general gameplay of all classes.

IMC is too defensive in their old technical design, but now we have KTEST and fully utilize to test these possibilities, then we will see DAWN of this game.

2-2…stat changes, auto attack

1# physical attack from str, and critical attack from dex. does that mean when doing crit attack to (monsters,pvp,gvg) the damage scales with dex and not str? so str is useless in doing crit type class?

2# crit chance is removed from stat attributes, therefore crit chance from certain skills and gears is 100 percent viable. given there is an item that gives crit resist, how would crit chance interact with crit resist?

3# physical non-crit attack based on str, physical crit attack based on dex, (physical damage, is separated between the two) does that mean when dealing crit attack str stat is ignored? upon dealing crit attack, is it true damage? how will it interact with phy def stats?

4# dex provides atkspd (some skills) what does it mean?

5# dex provides atkspd will there be an atkspd cap, given that there are some skills that already boost atkspd?

INT Swordsman… beside a lame Attribute for Finestra (Hoplite) http://www.tosbase.com/database/attributes/104016/ and Squire skills (INT is still not wow useful here anyway)
Investing INT on Swordsman is a waste specially when we need 3 stats already and most of it must be CON to endure at PVP while mages can go FULL INT and simply go Thau C1 and use Transpose, BOOM op tank

Well there is no tank in pvp.
Even more if there is a hunter against you.

Each one of your characters can reset per day for the whole event week.

You can reset 12 of your characters per day.
Meaning you can reset a total of 84 times if you wish.

Mathias… You said everything. I was thinking exactly the same.
We are in 2017, these restrictions aren’t even in 200X games. This doesn’t make any sense. Atleast free trade without TP, needs to be done. It’s the basic of basic for a MMO. Many friends won’t play just because of this.
Do whatever event you want IMC, but if you won’t remove this restrictions, players won’t come back to this game.
But instead of only these 4 things, I would include comission fee too. Why it exist? 30%? Seriously? I sold Battle Bracelet for 8,5KK and got just 5,9KK, I lose 2,6KK(the token money) for nothing.
This game have so much restrictions, Token is not a “vip bonus”, it’s like “pay to remove restrictions” if it’s to be this way, I prefer to pay for the whole game once.

I have a life, I need to do somethings off-game, I can’t play everyday 24/7. So I can’t waste my money on expensive TP or 3KK silver on Token for it to waste a lot of the 30 days count. They need to make the 30 days time count ONLY when you’re actualy ONLINE playing the game.

Probably I will drop this game, if it doesn’t change this year.

We WANT full critical builds. If the game that have customizable classes/builds, remove mine, then I won’t play it anymore. Capitche?

Okay, you probably will think; “nobody cares”, right? But actually, a lot of people like me, will drop this game too. Then, with less players, the game will die fast. And IMC won’t will make money anymore. So, actually, IMC needs to care about it.

Whe aren’t obsessed with crit, we just like to use a fuckin’ full critical build. Probably because like most of players, we came from Ragnarok Online. I myself had a Assassins Cross Full Crit there. I want to a Full Crit, what’s the problem? It’s hard to understand? People use full fire builds, full ice builds, full dark builds, full traps builds, full summom builds, etc… Why just mine got a nerf? ¬¬

Agreed. Most cards are useless. Some Collections don’t offer to much for items they need.

Ok in ragnarok only Assassins manage to get Full crit.

In ToS it’s probably only going to be Rogues that can Full crit.

Sounds fair? Roll a rogue.

Actually in a different thread, I had this exact suggestion! Why not create another stat, i.e. AGI, and have that stat take on evasion and aspd? In so doing, you retain crit-related sub-stats with DEX (i.e. accuracy, crit rate, and probably crit resistance).

Might’ve been better also if they implemented this together with R9, that way we only have to deal with one huge rebalancing.

I would like to use this thread to make some suggestions to IMC Staff.:

You can put some colors variations for class costumes, and make them tradable/sellable, I want a Dragoon armor, but I don’t want to become a Dragoon class.

More class costume colors variations too, you can sell it for TP, like hair colors…
I make want a Black Barbarian Costume. Yay! More money for you, more customization for us!

A player-made costume event, so players can make costumes and send them to you, you choose some, or the most voted ones get in-game. Good Idea, one of these every three/six months would be so good!

Your TP costumes are overly chamative and with overly colorful, most of the male costumes look like they are made for gays. Seriously, why not a simple black T-shirt and Jeans pants? Why not some Knight like costumes? Why not some real RPG-themed costumes?

Can Alchemist’s Briquetting skill get a shop? And can you remove this skill restrictions? This way we can use “Briquetting: Select Appearance” to change our equips appearence without the need for trade the item with someone. Good for everyone! Please, listen to this!

ANOTHER SUGGESTION, REGARDING PERFORMANCE:

Some people don’t mind playing on Low to get performance, so why don’t you downscale textures resolution by half when on low mode? I don’t mind blurry textures if I actually can play the game with better performance. Most people play the game with distant camera, they probably won’t even notice the difference, but will greatly notice de performance increase.

Please, downscale effects textures too. Maybe simplificate effects on low mode and/or let we disable them. When inside a dungeon with people throwing skills with a lot of effects, the FPS goes down a lot. This will make performance a lot better! Listen to this, please!

Yeah, ever since I redeemed the first founder pack I wasn’t pleased with the state of the game. Just moved onto other games I guess. Great to come back to the game with this patch in mind. Shall continue leveling my doppel and maybe an Inquisitor while waiting. This game is finally headed in a good place!
