- AGI = Evasion and attack speed;
- DEX = Accuracy and critical rate.
Calm down with the “WHAT HAPPENS TO CRITICAL RATE NOW? RIP ARCHER/SWORDSMEN”.
Leather armor will have lower physical and magic defense, but include other attack-focused features. These changes are also expected to affect existing attributes related to armor types.
I believe we can all assume that this indicates that critical rate will come from Leather Armor and/or armor related attributes.
The New Dex is basically RO’s AGI with more stats thrown on it?
STR and Dex merged for TOS new STR and crit rate was dropped :p.
I think int should give that status ailment chance thing if they’re going to keep the status resist part of SPR.
One thing I highly dislike about ASPD is unfairness related to ping. Before it affected only certain classes but it can bring an entire new problem if the ASPD increase is too big and becomes a real thing but is still limited by latency.
Also, ASPD won’t only affect AAs but seems it would also affect entire cast delay or something (Fletcher’s Crossfire in the video).
Like, if a Fencer starts to be able to spam skills faster but other Fencer isn’t able to do the same with same stats because ping things starts to get complicated.
Yep, I understood that point, but I prefer two stats for each benefits.
Let’s hope that they manage to make skills be unhindered by ASPD and ping. Meaning that all calculations should be made server side.
Annnd that the client only sends an “I’m auto attacking, I’ve stopped auto attacking” message instead of an “I’M ATTACKING” message restrained by ping.
Could introduce other issues such as : I died because the server thought I still was there. Nothing is perfect though.

Yup. Ping is a qualm.
They said only specific skills. I mentioned this in my first post here but I really hope there is a consistent internal logic to this so that players aren’t doing guesswork on whether this skill a or b is dex compatible.
I would for instance assume Bazooka, Kneeling Shot, Hanging Shot, Running Shot, Burrow and DWA will function with Dex. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sadhu’s Out of Body worked with Dex either. It’s all fairly understandable.
If Seism, Cleave, Pouncing, Psychic Pressure, etc work with Dex and then Thrust, Bash, Gravity pole, etc do not then It’s just going to feel very confusing.
If it expands to 0 CD skills I’d also get it, although it wouldn’t be as obvious as just the AA based skills functioning with Dex.
I found that change hilarious. Often I cast skills and my toon is stuck for 2-3 seconds doing nothing and my ping ain’t even that bad (30-50). 
Everybody gets this! Hahaha
In my guild we call it “the hand bug”
Although common I rarely have this issue. 140-200ms ping but on a stable VPN.
I actually expect this one…but I would hope they would change my Scout’s Split arrow for example so I can just hold it down instead of pressing it repeatedly if that’s the case… X)

Yea exactly man! A game that too Alt friendly and don’t allow you to transfer Trans. equips within storage. so they want us to make the same equipment over and over again.

Questions:
The 5 base Stats will change drastically. DEX will boost your Crit Atk.
1st: But what about Crit Chance? Nothing to see about that!
Accuracy and Block Penetration never were a big issues outside of PvP.
2nd: WIll those new “Leader-Mobs” have perhaps high Evasion and/or Block to rise the importance of Accuracy and Block Penetration?
The boost of INT and STR looks promising. But once again as a Physical Attacker you most likely will need a combination of STR and DEX, you will have to think about Crits, about Dodge of your opponent AND about Block of you opponent.
3rd: So will it be once again very easy for Magic User just to boost INT for Mag Atk, because they don’t have to think about any of the issues Physical Fighters have to take care of?
So DEX will increase the attack speed of some skills.
4th: Will it be stated by the skill in any way?
5th: WIll there be even magic skills benefit from this?
You thought much about damage and skills and things related to it.
6th: Will you start revising non-damage skill after that?
for example: Ausrine+Melstis(combo), Healing Factor(Plague Doctor), Armor Maintenance(Squire)

CON won’t give Critical Resistance Anymore.
Archer are losing the extra Crit Rate/Evade/Acc given by Level. Same for Swordie on defense,wizz on mdef and cleric on max SP/SPRec.

As @MattBR stated Awakening could get a revamp like Hat enchants had, maybe as you did with the Pillage att. change the effect to the class rank, being Alch1 current stats Alch2 better and Alch 3 the same as hats… Or something alike xD

Do you understand that if they completely remove the critical resistance from monsters, like you suggested, any hit would crit even having 1 as critical rate?
