Yes we want a pk system! With pk on all maps and safety only in towns. Make a pk server that’s it!
Its not a bad idea to have a few PK channels. But realisticly developer should concentrate on pvp balance for GvG and its alot of work.
Maybe in a year or so after release they ll implement PK channels.
PK should be allowed on dangerous map … and Boss map ( so that’s there is a real need to be in a party and collaborate or strategicly kill party to get boss aim )
Technically entrance of instance should always be PK enable.
I’m not a fan of PK but see no reason to deny for those who like, so long as PK is done in its own channel/area. It doesn’t seem like this would take too much resources or time from devs to implement as well.
Just make sure PK is balanced (like say an area limit lvl is 70, players above it can RECEIVE player damage/debuff but cannot INFLICT any) and has a decent penalty so players dont go “happy going” in PK areas hoping to get the upper hand over regular players.
Pk system is not for eveyone though. If you want to kill someone that bad. Go to the arena will ya? Where there are people like you who craves other people’s blood.
The problem with a pk channel / open world pvp. Higher lvl would not try to kill players at their same level. Instead they will camp a map where lone and lower level are grinding, usually those “player killers” are not alone. Why? Just cause.
Pk channel is ok. If there are lvl restrictions of to what lvl you can attack. Maybe 5 lvls below nd above you.
In addition, some of these unique people who preys on the weak are like kids. If they killed someone they’ll brag it on world chat / server chat, talk shi t, buddies ride the band wagon and the drama continues…
It would be nice if they could apply the same PK system from Overlord

Ooooo dude - you say PK SYSTEM? Man I remember when I played tibia and I was hunting PK players. Good times, I like to see a PK system in the ToS.
PK is very enjoyable in other games… but how to balance it… hmm…

I have an idea lol. If someone passes by you and KS’s your enemy, you can request a duel that they can’t deny and you fight to the death
If you win, you get the EXP and Items the mob dropped. If they win, they keep the EXP and Items
Would that be acceptable PK or is that too tame to be considered PK?
From a player like me who played RF online ever since the first launch and played RO specially the PK server.
I would agree that a PK Channel would be a good idea its a place where tough guys/guilds would clash into each other.
of course IMO this map should have like stronger monster though higher exp and better farming experience to work.
Idk if PK would be smart…
Let’s just keep it with a PVE world and 1 PVP place/arena 
A PK channel would be excellent makes the game more enjoyable to some people
they already have pvp in TOS , so PK will be automatically balanced

How the hell is a system that lets high level players kill low level ones in one hit for their own self-driven amusement a harmless suggestion to be brought up?
and PvP isn’t balanced so I don’t know how PK would be.
The entire PK system was incredibly badly done in older games and most people hated it but did enjoy the ability to pvp anyone. PK systems evolved into the open-world GvG system used in WoW, where you pick a faction and can only PK the other factions. This gave some sense of safety for low levels yet gave the PK-enjoying crowd and out to PK. It’s basically optimised to this RvR set up now because it’s a generally accepted superior system for open-world unrestricted PvP. Other games that offered PK had it restricted to certain channels and what happened? The people who enjoyed PK went to those channels… and only found other high level PKers and disliked the system. Because they couldn’t pick on low-levels. Which basically made a dead Channel nobody went on because a majority of players don’t care about PK/Surprise PvP. It’s a minority so small it’s not even that it’s almost never brought up.
Also I don’t think anyone except an extremely masochistic minority actually enjoys the idea that some random high level player can come out of nowhere and kill you on a whim, making you travel all the way back to your level spot where they could just decided to keep killing you and refuse to let you level. This is what ends up happening under a PK system in most cases. These MMO-based LN/anime/etc just use PK-systems as a way to permit drama and if you hadn’t paid attention they are almost always portrayed as moral-less scummy players and if not they are “redeemed” and stop PKing.
To make an inappropriate comparison, PvP is like the first time spending the night with your girlfriend, and global PK is like that large man behind you when you pick up the soap in prison. You can’t be sure if the first one will go well but it’s something you want, very few people will say they want the latter.
Put level restrictions … problem solved.
you are addressing problems that have easy fixes … if you want to disagree with an idea so badly … then at least read the comment first … the problem you mentioned has already been addressed and it has an easy fix … that doesn’t mean that the whole PK channel idea shouldn’t be done.
