Non tradable is fine, but at least make it transferred possible through the TS, because what is the point in having an Archer keep a Staff? Unless it pop items related to the class that got the cube.

This is finally a really good event.
I hope taming and training monsters will become a permanent feature in the future, I"d like to have a cool companion like Wheelen or Pag Nat rather than a Penguin that always dismounts me when riding and having no other purpose on a non-Hunter character…

Will the monster u captured also disappear when the event end?
And if it doesn’t does that mean we cant lvl up our monster since the monster energy will also be gone?
So can we have confirmation @STAFF_Yuri that the weapon is something we can choose?
Or it is something which will be forced upon us without regard and may land up like one player said Archer with staff ?
Well at least the idea behind it is something new, not some recycled “run from NPC to NPC” or “go queue for event dungeon xyz”.
The event itself is good, the execution is another issue that may or may not ruin the whole thing.
Also, another week without any content update, I guess we have to wait another 3-4 weeks for the next changes like Pardoner buff shops,ET changes and/or 360 cap.
Btw, I like that the prizes include attribute points, I just hope they aren’t more rare than those silver and golden anvils noone needs from those kind of events…

Ok, I was wrong. The event is gruesome, the drop rate of monster essence is abyssmal.
Also,the boss monster is at least level 10 and has about 14000 HP. Unless your monsters are level 10+ you have no chance to complete this mission solo (queuing is possible but again the re’s the problem of low population servers).
@STAFF_Yuri can you guys do something about the monster essence drop rates? They are way too low to even participate in this event let alone level 3 pets.
Meanwhile, the elite medal drop chance is so high that you can basically farm your whole event participation count in a single day. GG.
Another grave mistake I found out:
You can only tame 3 monsters for the whole team!!! What the heck!!!
Nowhere was it stated that you can only participate with a single character since the others can’t catch any new monsters…
Now I’m stuck with a useless team on a subchara because of the faulty event description.
@STAFF_Letitia I demand a free release of the whole captured team for everyone who participated today and a change of the event description so that you actually understand how this event works, e.g. that “release” isn’t part of the event(step 4) but a way to get rid of an unwanted monster.
STEP 4: Use your captured monster to clear the event mission and receive your reward.
Releasing the captured monster will consume 30 “Monster Energy” but its level will not be altered.
- During the mission your character can only use items. (You won’t be able to use basic attack or skills)
- This means you must defeat the boss with your pet monsters.
- You will only have 10 minutes to defeat the boss, so be quick.
Judging from the layout describing steps 1 to 3, it certainly appears this way.
It’s directly inbetween the descriptions of how to participate in the dungeon!!!

Lv1 Blue Cube (Boss Level 1 - 20)
Both statements are blatant lies.
- Level 1 Boss is impossible to conjure, I tried it. The ingame description even stated that level 10 boss would be the lowest possible level to conjure,although that info is also wrong since I saw a level 7 boss in my second try while queuing.
- The mission time is 5 minutes, not 10 minutes, and the timer starts way before the boss monster is summoned, so you have less than 5 minutes for your monsters to kill the boss(from my experience you have around 4 minutes and 30-40 seconds to kill the boss).

A friend said mission is free, 30 is to let the monster go. (As in you can replace it with some other after.)
i’m just a player concerned about this event i’m not even angry
but it’s boring and i can be afk during the run , monster energy is dropping like a 315 mats, the 3 monsters i tamed don’t use their 3rd skill and i don’t have 30 energy to get rid of them, i can’t get even 1 of them at the moment
the cherry on top of the cake: event says “0/2” on the instance dungeon windows, my token recently expired, but i get the error “You’ve exhausted your available trades”
how can i get 500 pieces of blue orb when i get only 2 a day?
EDIT: i have 90 fortune cookies on a 330 char let me trade them please IMC

bokor zombies can instant kill the low level boss, not sure how much hp the boss have at 100+. don’t even need to summon the pet ha
Just capture Tipio. It’s boss killer…
Do the event quest at higher level boss. You get 1 extra piece for every 10 levels of the summoned Boss, e.g: 1 for lv 10 boss, 2 for lv 20 boss and so on.

i can’t enter the mission more than 2 times. it means 25 days 20 blue orb a day.

Just to add to the fire:
You will have the chance to acquire “Monster Energy” by continually defeating monsters in fields. However:
- The item will only drop in fields.
This information is wrong. It also drops at least in the Hunting Grounds, which are considered dungeons. It’s actually easier to just go there and farm the essences, since there is a high mob density.
Oh no! I apologize for the confusion but I’ve updated the announcement. The correct mission time is 5 minutes not 10. 
I also passed on the feedback about the monster energy drops~!

Not sure if something changed in your event-department but keep up the good work!
WAY BETTER than those stupid guessing events…
You should even consider implementing a similar, more polished system permanently.
It’s not a perfect event but it’s finally something creative and engaging, good job!
