Gunna go ahead and ask that you read the post I am replying to. When someone says that you are in no position to comment because you are in the best gear, it is appropriate to help them remember that people with gear, at one point didn’t have it.
Yeah, but crying over sp pots is much better. I mean, I’m clearly not trying to point out a problem I have, I’m just crying over something because I’m spamming skills.
But hey, if I don’t cry I would never find players with +XX t10 Velco sets that tries to shut down other players because they have to:
- make alts
- farm to normally play a char
- get good
As usual posting on the forum is so rewarding. As rewarding as enhancing an item, I would say
This is what you’re replying to. This sentence is right on the spot.
When I started playing in 2016 it was full of veterans who were milking new players with Tokens (won in guild fights) and in many other ways.
Right now it’s full of veterans with +2X Velco weapons thx to retarded Diamond Anvils gained on more retarded events.
At one point you didn’t have your equip? For sure
You already got compensated for it, there is no reason to try to bring your long forgotten suffering to new players
You are making some heavy implications that I personally have or have done all these things. It is incorrect.
Impetus didn’t participate in win-trading old GVG, sure we got some TP out of actually participating in the content but we spent it on things beneficial to the guild as a whole. Some guilds exploited and got thousands upon thousands of TP.
I have used 4 diamond anvils in my total time playing. 1 from DLC and 3 from the event where they existed. As mentioned, my gear is all +11.
Its disingenuous and wrong to assume that all past players with decent gear received it due to exploits or diamond anvils. Hell, I was the loudest voice against the existence of Diamond Anvils. How’s that for elitism?
Some players earned their gear the intended way, by playing through the content. Experience shouldn’t be viewed as a negative.
It is funny when people give options that counter the SP usage to help people that are suffering from it, and these same people simply want to ignore that.
-
Create an alt to farm and craft potion - “Tree of Alts, don’t want to do that, don’t have time, wanna spend my time with my single character”
-
Then get cards that help replenish SP, just look for the one that will be suitable to your character - “Why should I have to be obligated to use cards? It is a feature of the game that I don’t want to use, even that devs put that in the game to be used”
-
Then look for equipment with SP Recovery - “don’t want to spend my silver on that, you say this because you are a whale and can buy whatever you want”
-
Ok, so how about fishing and using bonfires? - “too much time and can’t use this during CM, a content that overly rush the party to use their skills in a stressfull situation”
-
Then why don’t simply buy some potions? - “whale argument again, why should I be obligated to buy potion? My skill should cost 1 SP, including all overheats”
/sarcasm
I don’t think that everyone that are on the “SP as a manageable resource is a good thing” side agree that it is perfect and don’t deserve some fine tuning, but I’m still trying to understand why people simply ignore suggestions and want to play the game without using the mechanics it offers.
You don’t even needa make an alt. You can farm uosis and trade an alchemist and pay them in uosis for their service and flask mat fees.
I farmed 200 uosis in like 30 mins last night.
There’s a lot of options for people in this regard. The game has bigger issues like lag and net coding and some class balancing still, sp usage pales in comparison to other issues. It’s and adaption that we’re all going through, but people struggling are the ones not adapting or even remotely trying to work with the system. Sp usage is not that bad.
I get it in a way, some people really hate managing SP, and some MMOs do a good job of catering to those people. WoW had rogues with constantly replenishing energy (but muh thistle tea), MS2 expanded that idea to their entire set of characters.
I wouldn’t be against Scouts having ‘energy’ instead of SP or making some classes have more rapid SP regeneration as a feature of the class. There are clever ways to cater to those types of people, if needed.
Someone who disagrees with your opinion is a whale
I forgot how much you used to use Ad hominem. Yeah I’m just gonna ignore you from now on because I actually want to be useful to others, and I know exactly how you work Siete. Regards from when you were actually a relevant poster in 2016.
Some quality of life changes which could help a bit with SP management:
Make all buffs with 100% uptime by design last infinite (until map change) with 10 seconds cooldown. Constant rebuffing is tedious, annoying, wastes SP and just takes fun out of the game. At least for skills with 100% uptime. Boost are fine the way they are.
My opinion. I get it if people say there must be skill skill/management required for supports but I still think it’s needless retarded.
Quite a few buffs were changed to have 5 minute uptimes, but I’d only give a rough guess at about ~30% of them were changed like this. Usually what used to be the earlier circle buffs. More could definitely go this way though, and you’re not wrong for wanting it to be like that either. My Exo/Chap/PD chews through Mana like nobody’s business not by rotation, but by upkeeping buffs rotations. Ideally you just shouldn’t waste mana when it’s not super necessary.
I personally think Dragoon Helm should drain SP but drastically reduce the cost of skills or have an attribute that gives them a temporary SP like restoration based on how much you used, but for it a much longer cooldown in trade.
Implications?
I talked about veterans and made two examples.
Then I said that you have been compensated through a lot of events.
You’re the one making implications, not the other way around ^^
Most of the ppl that are on the "SP as a manageable resource is a good thing” are saying that isn’t even an issue. You have an entire thread full of these answers.
So you believe that veterans with experience are in no position to comment about the game being too easy. Good to know.
O V E R A L L
(insert spongebob rainbow meme here)
Not really. Go back to the first post. You’ll find both negative and positive opinions about the SP usage after Re:Build and they’re mostly from the first two days after the update. We had only a few classes with SP issues before the update, now most classes require more attention with how to spend your SP, so obviously many people got shocked. The thread remained inactive for a few days, then more than half of the thread was spent in a back and forth arguing with you and that troll person with Remiri.
Sorry I don’t even know who you are or any of you, far from relevant enough to remember as all trolls are equal in the bag.
Because those suggestions don’t apply to the part of the content in which SP is a problem because the mechanics to manage it are bad and they haven’t suggested how to manage it at that specific part and completely neglect talking about it, perhaps on purpose because they’re very aware that there are issues but just won’t admit it.
It’s simply stupid that at low level, every skill is more than twice as heavy on the SP supply than at higher levels, and not only that, but at low level the SP management options are harder to obtain or straight worse.
No, I believe that veterans should try to speak objectively and not based on their overfed chars.
@fabricio_polo my answer wasn’t to clash with your PoV but to let you see that in this thread the ppl are divided in two: either the system is broken or is perfect. No sarcasm intended on my side
I can go back and find ppl saying the system is broken or perfect. That’s what I was saying. Thank you for adding nothing aside from white knighting a white knight.
“That troll” interesting. You and Remiri are troll as well, and I can be part of the group as well. You don’t need to point your finger, we are all a big family here
But that’s all these trolls can do.
They disregard the whole game and how it functions and encases it on their whale situation, and if you’re not like them and have an issue then it’s YOUR fault for not being a whale like them and not the game being broken.
You’re cherrypicking. Do you want me to link the positive opinions posted in the beginning of the thread?
I dare you to link any post here saying the current SP usage is perfect.
I gave suggestions that even a new player can make use of, but you and that troll ignored everything we said. I went and made a new character on another server to test if the SP usage is really that bad for new players and picked the same build as he. I even recorded a video showing the guy was lying about everything. How can you even defend him? Well, maybe you’re a couple? Otherwise just learn how to build and play with your characters. Everyone’s open to give tips and help other people. Everyday I’m testing builds with my characters and, except for Lancer, Dragoon and Falconer, I have yet to see a class with too high SP consumption.
Nice tu quoque fallacy, buddy. Your gf supporting you must be clapping now.
Being called a whale is really cute, because I don’t even have a single lvl 380 character yet. I haven’t even started doing Velcoffer yet lmao. My strongest character is still using a lvl 350 weapon and a mix of purple and orange lvl 350 HG armors. And here you go lying again. I’m not disregarding the whole game, I even tested a new character just to prove you’re wrong.
Anyway, it’s a waste of time arguing with you two. You only make up stuff and are insisting on being wrong. And, honestly, I’m very surprised myself for agreeing with @Remiri . He usually posts using harsh words, but this time he’s right.
And you failed and proved me right, immediatly quitted after.
You mean that part of the game where you level up your base level and class very very often that your HP and SP bar gets full almost every 30min~1hour, you receive a lot of SP potions by doing quests/changing classes and have access to Item Merchants to buy some more? Maybe the same time where you can buy bonfires and sit for less than 1minute, now that Pardoner buffs are almost irrelevant so you don’t have to buy them, neither worry if they are running out, and save money.
Grinding, no questing? Well, more junk you can send to buy potions and bonfires.
Honestly, looks like you’re not even trying to recover your SP, you just wanna stand, spam your skills and waiting for your SP to replenish magically (which does, when you level up).
I recommend you to check those reward potions before talking further, you’ll find something amazing.
But, in case you won’t because you might be another guy like the other two who spews only lies.
REWARD SP POTIONS REGEN 10% OF WHAT NPC OR ALCH POTIONS DO!
Go ahead, use one of them, a 100 sp regen potion from the NPC regens 100 + 100 every a few seconds, a reward potion regens 100 + 10 (TEN) every a few seconds.
Also, check their cooldown.
