Hey guys I’m new to the game and I read a lot of posts about archers but to be honest I don’t understand most of it. So in simpler terms I just want a guide for a BOW archer that will be viable even on higher levels. I don’t want to be super uber mega OP but just enough to not fall behind teammates.
I’ve also had trouble with stat distribution because a lot of people have different opinions and I can’t decide.
I want it to be balanced without having to spend tons of silver on potions. The gear is not a problem(I hope) since I don’t mind farming but that means I’ll need to be able to solo bosses with the build. Maybe something with a good AoE and single target damage but I definitely want it to be with a bow since that is my prefered playstyle.
If your requirement is bow, say goodbye to cannoneer/musketeer/SR and maybe rogue2/QS3 too cuz these class have weapon restriction(but you can just manaul/auto swap)

You want to solo boss has AoE and don’t want to think too hard about stat, I think wugushi is the class that’s suit your preference. You can try search or create yourself a build that has wugushi as a core class.
A good bow to start off 120+ would be?
skull bow because it’s cheap and has nice base dmg

Do you have in mind how much a Wugushi would spend to get Lv. 100 Gu Pot attribute?

Attribute upgrades at higher lv are costly
40-50lv for low rank skill and 20-30lv for high rank skill should be ok for the time being if you don’t need to compete in WB hunt or pvp.
I think I need at least lv. 50 to be competitive right?

While calculating the cost I noticed from 1 to 75 is ok, it’s 11 million. Not hard to get 11 million, but 62? D:

Competitive? Remember DoTs of wugushi scale differently. Attribute enhance only add skill base damage, and ignores your weapon damage.

Are the prices of potions that bad? I saw a lot of people who were saying Fletcher is good but I had no idea it required this much attention when it comes to mana.
I saw a few videos of some archer who was shooting like 3 or 4 arrows on one mob at once. I think he mentioned something about barbed arrow or something like that.
Also what do you think about stat distribution on Archers if I chose Fletcher? 3:1 STR/DEX and 40-50 Con is what I’ve seen from other people.

You can find cheap Lv10 High Condensed SP Potions which provide you a lot of SP restored.
Buy and use lvl 10 condensed SP pots, or get the trail quest pots.
Your archer SP at lvl 280 is 1734.
Magic arrow 10 SP cost = 71. This is 4% of your total SP pool per arrow.
