New Class Advancement System

@Calvin You still need to reach rank 6 to unlock Doppelsöldner. This change allows you to choose a class you have already unlocked at earlier ranks.

Gotta rethink of builds now lol. It’s great tho.

This is the one think that I don’t like. Since i was content with my choices, but now I ain’t… Ugh. Hopefully If this stays though it will allow me to avoid the classes i chose only because I had too.

Ok, here is a fist beta version of the Skill Simulator with the new system. Please report all bugs. Saving will be added later

When you make a choice in the simulator, you could gray out other choices.

This might not have been a problem on the previous sym, but it is hard to keep track on what you choose with so many choices…

Based on @FatePGN’s description, I don’t think you lose any choices. You just get additional for whatever Rank you unlock. So say you go Wiz > Cryo. You can still go Pyro. At least that’s how I understood his explanation. I could be wrong though.

I think @Grillo knows that. I think what hes asking for is a visual indicator of the class he chose at that rank.

yeah, i’m saying to gray them out in the sense of aesthetics, not in functionality, and just in the rank where you already made a choice… sorry if i wasn’t clear enough xDD, an indicator for the class you chose would help either way

Oh. XD Lol. My bad. Although it was like this even before the change. So I guess I’m just used to it. But I think your idea is good. It’ll definitely be easier to remember if it gets grayed out.

honestly it’s a little too much. 15 choices at rank 8? I’m all for build diversity but there’s a certain point where enough is enough.

i’d reckon it’d be better if you were limited to just being allowed to upgrade classes you already had, instead of being able to backtrack to classes you never had. it keeps some of the tradeoffs there. this still gives more build freedom than the old mechanics without going overboard on the number of choices.

I know how you feel flash, gonna need to change mine as well… (pt-br) =(
More work incomming… We gonna live for the coding of our fansites… xD

woa, Flash you really are…

Couldn’t see anything different from the last version.
If what they say is right you calculator isn’t allowing me to go to EX: Swordman C2>Peltast

You gotta use the link he posted. It won’t work if you go to the skill sim through the website.

Oh yea, that true, gonna see now.

Ok, I went there, but I could see a way to make Swordsman > Swordsman2 > Peltast at the beginning.
But I noticed changes after rank 4.

Hey flash I found a bug, C1, C2, C3 skills share the same skill points, I guess same to other classes… to see the bug, try to max the Devine Might of C2 then later max the Devine Might of C3.

What exactly do you mean by changes?

Btw, @Flash skill points revert back to 0 if you skip and retake the class. For example going Cleric > Priest > Cleric the skill points from Cleric C1 don’t carry over to C2 and reverts back to 0.

More options after rank 4.
PS: I noticed the same bug.

That’s not a bug, that’s a feature
