RO2 should never has existed can we just pretend it didn’t happen?
cleric 3 and priest3 yes
btw, can i go cleirc 1 -> priest 1 -> cleric2 ? just asking
I see… So you can go back to a class you didn’t take but it will be at c2 meaning you can never actually max a class you passed up at its first circle…? hrm…
So if someone went cleric, priest1, priest2, krivis(2) (<- technically it’s their first time being krivis but you’re not allowed access to the class three times as a penalty for not choosing it when it first became available? – that’s what the reddit image looks like to me. Am I a nut?)
So would that person at least have access to krivis 1 skills though or only krivis 2 skills? I’d assume access to both because the lack of being able to max it is penalty enough… but idk… @_@
Edit: So Cleric1, priest1, priest 2, priest 3, Krivis1, Krivis2, Krivis 3 is impossible? Or am I reading the reddit image wrong.
Edit 2: answered
@FatePGN ^ Thank you ^
I thought this was a great idea, until I saw that you can choose classes from past Ranks that you didn’t even pick the first time. WizardPyroCryoPsycoLinkMentalist approaching.
@Sixaxis anyone who spread their skills out so thinly would be at a really big disadvantage though… x__x;; can’t see anyone doing that unless they just wanted lots of costumes…
Edit @Sixaxis I will tell them while wildly out-damaging them on the fields. 8D
as shown in my post and on the reddit post yes you can go any variation you want to. cleric>priest>cleric c2>priest c2>cleric c3>priest c3. if you wanted to.
Tell that to the WizardPyroCryoPsycoLinkMentalist with 2 bars full of skills/utility.
No you found a mistake with the image, I’ve edited it to fix any problems
oh thats crazy… but i’m wondering if this will be true when it releases, or it is just imc testing how it will be like and will change back later
Right now it seems like they are just testing it out since it’s still beta no one knows if they are going to keep it or not as of right now not even IMC.
If it’s a good change that doesn’t break the game in any way they might keep it though, hopefully they do.
Lol, it’s weird to see a company use beta tests for testing opposed to marketing in this day an age, IMC is currently one of my favourite companies because of there way of doing things.
Holy ■■■■ I’m so hard right now.
What about skill power though? It wouldn’t make sense to pick Krivis 2 at r6 for example, since the skills are really crappy compared to what you have available at that point. If this is the case, I think backtracking will only be useful for some gimmicky/support builds that need skills from both classes of a same rank or something.
It wouldn’t change much if you should go Cleric 1> 2>3 first and only then you could choose Priest…but it would be an unnecessary restriction imo. So it’s better like this even if it could seem a bit messed up.
Because I didn’t like Cleric that much actually I think I would go Cleric>Priest>Priest>Priest>Cleric>Cleric.
This is REALLY GOOD.
I was not into playing Warrior or Cleric since I disliked most of the 4-6 Rank classes they have, but if this change becomes the final version of class progression, I feel like I can make more characters.
I’m hoping to see names like [FS]Francis or sth.
Thats old news…The dev said they are planning for 30 hidden classes in Indonesian Tos events…
Well that’s great & all – he was looking for some kind of source & that was the closest thing I knew I could quickly find from IMC to help explain things. The first part of his question was:
Can someone link me to where it says new classes end at 7/8
And their blog is where they first mentioned unhidden classes potentially ending at 8.
Was just trying to be helpful! (I was less concerned with hidden class quantity and more concerned with what rank the game requires you to go find them. Might be good to link the more recent/updated news on your post though if you have it.)
I think I prefer if it’s like the old system plus you can back track to a higher circle of one of your previous ranks.
i.e.: You go archer -> archer C2 -> sapper -> if you don’t like any of the rank four classes (Scout, Wugushi, or sapper C2.) you have the option to go back to archer C3 -> and then you have the options to go rouge, fletcher, or sapper C2 if you chose archer C3
The point is once you pass up a class the first time, you can’t get it anymore. However you can choose to power up one of your previous non-C3 classes if there is an awkward rank for your build.
@FatePGN and what happened to the dialog that appears when you get class lvl 15? it’s full of choices? or did they just destroyed it and now you have to search for the class master by foot?
I think that is possible but you are gonna lose ranks for future classes.
Good lord…
Time to rethink all of my characters’ builds
