Just play the game and do your own thing. Unless “do your own thing” is doing stuff such as this.
As far as I know, there’s no racism and xenophobia against robots like me (As of right now.). Should probably dump your brain into a machine.
I am from the future (2022) and I can confirm that you will be able to upload your brain into a humanoid. Warning: Your old body will technically be a corpse, with a dead brain. Once you become to used too your new body, you may forget how it feels to have an true organic body.

If you are having trouble with a person on the internet, it’s your fault. You have the tools necessary to remove their ability to contact you, so just block every person you don’t agree with so you can save myself and other intelligent people the time and effort of having to tell you that EVERYBODY and EVERYTHING is TERRIBLE.

Unless its directed toward u, keep going, theres not much one can do. Thats one of the main reasons I rarely watch/talk on /shout (and only when Im in town). Eventually, IMC will see it and do something, hopefully following my suggestion about the /shout system (Megaphones bought with iCoin, 5 mins CD) and add a report button (in which one have to write down an essay and provide proof about really toxic behaviour, so it cant be abused).
Charging cash to use shouts? I already expect this to be implemented since Nexon is picking the game up anyways.
As silly as that sounds, that would actually fix the massive spam some people do in the global chat, they should reduce the amount of characters that one person can write on the chatbox too, this would also stop RMT from abusing the global chat to promote their pages, it kinda feels that it was made for them.
If it stays like it is right now, I can see it becoming a mess in the future, plus it seems that it also causes some lag when the global chat is open.
I really feel you on this,actually.The racist talk has calmed a little since they announced the LA server,but I think it wasn’t really needed in the first place.People really are gross and I agree it’s an issue.
However,there’s no point in doing anything about it now.This is all going to be wiped at the end of the month,and even if it weren’t,the game isn’t in a state right now where it’s easy and quick to report players.Those features need to be implemented,as well as more active GM’s who specialize in taking care of reports exclusively.That will be necessary at launch,or we’ll get that “bad reputation” as a game that ironically these people say those races cause.Funny how that works.
I really feel this way as well. I really miss it when you could have a nice community in a MMO. Nowadays it seems people think being an ignorant d*** online is the cool thing to do.
The community guidelines outlines topics such as this already and they currently are moderating the forums under these rules. If you mean a way to report in-game harassment well just leave the situation. This is an MMO after all. Expect some players to be bad eggs, since they are also human.
