Especially when there were only like 5 mobs oh the whole map.
Implying very heavily here. Played RO for 10+ years and WoE’d for most of it. This is a unique situation that actually never presented itself in RO. Since there were Marc cards only hunters used status effect cards.
Do you play PD or Zealot2? Your incredible desire to keep something OP as ■■■■ is showing. If every guild has to adapt to a card, there is something wrong with the card. The entire meta will be balanced around card. It is ridiculous.
In RO you had to wear marcs to prevent from being frozen by a CLASS, not a CARD.
Excuse me, I’d like to confirm something.
At Colony Wars, can we use skill scrolls and dispeller? Even after saying it, there is people saying it can be used so I’d like to confirm, please.
Nah, im playing Templar.
In RO a shitty lv40 wizard could freeze the entire guild by lv1 Storm Gust. It was much easier to make a shitty lv40 wizard then having 3x10* Frostlord card on all chars. Shitty lv40 wizard forced all enemies to wear Marcs. The entire meta was around not being frozen. But somehow no one asked to nerf freeze status.
Didn’t have to, everyone had Marc cards. Templar with buff share won’t offer enough uptime to overcome freeze cards on everyone.
Templar with buff share won’t offer enough uptime to overcome freeze cards on everyone.
Are you sure about that?
Max Duration of Buff Share is 25s
PVP duration of bloodletting = 18s
CD of bloodletting = 60s
you tell me
And what if I tell you there can be, for example, 2-3 PD in a guild for a full rotation?
ps: buff share duration is absolutely irrelevant, lv1 is more than enough for this
Then you would also need 2-3 Templars to continue sharing that buff to the guild, and rotate bloodletting constantly to avoid an easy to access card that everyone will have.
Sounds silly, doesn’t it?
One templar is more than enough.
In fact, you need just one party - 5ppl - to completely protect the whole guild not only from freeze, but from all lv1-2 status ailiments. Sounds pretty reasonable.
No TBL rules -> no status diminishing. I assure you, that all sides had a hell load of Frostlord cards. I, of course, was using 3x with flame ground scrolls. Freeze didnt bother anyone at all.
Frostlord seems broken only in 3v3 format. In mass PvP it really not that scarry.
Sadly I can’t watch the video since it is saying not available. Anywho I have made my points and will wait for the content to offer more feedback.
And the difference is…? Didn’t still all of us need that damned card in order to survive in WoE? Weren’t we forced to wear that one with maybe some fast switch to noxious or some other fancy armor, just because of HW’s Storm Gust? I honestly think the situation is pretty similar. Not saying it’s a good thing or a bad thing, just… dejavu (french speakers forgive me, I could never spell it right)
The point is that an equipment counter existed there, and it doesn’t exist here. I will hold off on judgement until after the testing phase though.
Updated
During the test period, the Wars will open for one session a day at EDT 22:00-23:00, at the Inner Wall District 8

welp with that time period i’m out of trying GvG…
So late? Most of us work early
Again with the 10-11…you DO realize this isnt peak time…right?
Also shows how much you hate TBL and the people who play it
I can’t go to that hour too I think 9-10 sound fairs for everyone
I’m ok with that schedule. I have quite a few guildies from west coast that leave work at 9pm. Sleeping 4-6 hrs a single day won’t hurt anybody.
It would have been better to make a poll instead of deciding it by yourselfs.
Can you or someone else on @staff confirm if there is a character limit in the channel for territory wars, and can you confirm if there is a limit of players within a guild that can participate?
This is actually very important, as there’s a pretty good chance a bunch of people are going to be very disappointed if only something like 5 or 10 people can get in per guild.
I understand this a test, but it’s not going to be much of a test if no one can participate realistically.
