My (late) CBT2 Feedback

I’m sorry for this being so late. I was planning to post my CBT2 feedback along with my corrections of all the spelling and grammar errors I encountered throughout CBT2, but it’s been taking me so long to correct everything (literally over 1,000 images) that I’ve decided that I ought to just go ahead and post it; if I continue to wait until I’ve finished correcting all these images, then it will likely never get posted. lol. I’m still going to try to finish all those corrections I’ve been working on. I hope that it’s not too late to matter, but for whatever it’s worth, here it all is.

UI Related (68 notes):

  • All minimized sections in the inventory restore themselves after using an anvil.
  • The warp selections for the Royal Mausoleum are not in the correct order on the map. Instead of being ordered as 1F, 2F, 5F, it’s instead displayed as 2F, 5F, 1F.
  • The quest “Sweet Ointment (1)” in Glade Hill Road does not list the zone in the quest log. Presumably, there are likely other quests with this same problem as well.
  • When I’ve turned the chat off with ESC, it keeps turning itself back on every time I load into a new map or change channels. This is very tedious.
  • When speaking to a Goddess Statue to warp, if I make a selection on the map which happens to be overtop of an action bar button which is under the map, then it will pick up that button as the warp begins; this causes the cursor to get stuck as the dragging hand until I pick up a button off the action bar again, and put it back down.
  • When in a party, the entire space where buffs could potentially be for party members (which covers about 30% of the way towards the center of the screen in 1440x900 resolution) cannot be clicked on to move, rendering the entire upper-left quarter of the screen nearly useless for mouse movement while in a party. Those areas where party members’ buffs go should be able to be clicked through when a buff is not active in that spot.
  • The number of points listed in the main tab of the Adventure Journal is inaccurate.
  • Whenever I use a Skill Reset Scroll, I cannot actually utilize my newly freed-up points until I change zones or channels.
  • The quest “Research Reports of the Priests” shows an extra turn-in icon on the map a little bit south of the normal turn-in spot.
  • [Wings of Vibora] Lena refuses to let me have my iCoin boxes for Growth.
  • Demon Prison District 3 and District 4 seem to have their names backwards.
  • Ramunele, Aviete, Valerijonas, Uosis, Amalas, Medus, Pine Mushroom, Peach, and… I can’t quite read my own writing here; this either says “Salavijas” or “Salauijas”… do not say what they do in their tooltips, despite being classed as “item” instead of “material” or whatever else, which implies that they do, in fact, have some kind of use.
  • There was one time when the confirm purchase window did not go away after I pressed yes, or after I received my item, or after I changed tabs, so I had to just press “no” to avoid making a second purchase. Unfortunately, it seems that I did not write down what item I was purchasing at the time, nor did I write down which NPC I was purchasing from.
  • When an NPC has a dialogue bubble pop up over their head, it does not stay onscreen nearly long enough. Some of us don’t read at insane speeds like 15 words per second.
  • Black hair colour option does not show up in the UI after unlocking it. Well… it didn’t for me, at least. I did see at least one person who seemed to have succeeded in utilizing his black hair, and he even had the same hair style as me, so I don’t know what’s up with that.
  • Sometimes, when I’m using party chat, and I press enter to bring up the text input bar, the recipient changes from “/p” to a long and random series of numbers.
  • The game keeps telling me that I have new whispers when I don’t, and the red numbers keep coming back, even after I check the empty whisper log.
  • Crafting Dispellers (Pardoner ability) requires me to drag the Parchments into the crafting box instead of simply clicking on the crafting box.
  • Crafting Dispellers (Pardoner ability) does not show the scroll or the quill, though it does animate the character physically using the scroll and quill which are not showing. I’m not sure if this is a result of using low graphics settings, but this sort of thing really should still show up, even on low.
  • Sometimes, while repairing my gear, if I use “select all”, and then unselect one of those items, it will unselect all of the items, and then I need to press select all twice more to get it to reselect them. Only then can I unselect the one piece of gear which I wanted to not be selected.
  • Some items which don’t have durability show up in the repair interface (example: Shovel, or Vuvuzela)
  • Trying to set a “!!” message does not work from party, shout, or whisper chats, and results in the message just being sent into chat.
  • Buy-back does not update your currency in the shop window until after you buy something else which is not a buy-back purchase.
  • Quests being tracked jump around randomly when clicking on interactable quest objectives.
  • Items repaired by a Squire do not disappear from the Repair UI, despite no longer needing to be repaired.
  • Many NPCs (example: Soldier Aspas in Dvasia Peak, or the Tree of Brothers Notice Signs in Apsimesti Crossroads) do not get pinned on the map after speaking with them.
  • Obtaining a material for crafting alerts me for more or less every single recipe I’ve ever had to which that material applies, regardless of whether or not I actually possess that recipe. Also, that alert is far too intrusive. It should be smaller, and it should be off to the side somewhere.
  • After clicking “receive” on items in the Item Cabinet in the Market, the item sometimes doesn’t go away from the Cabinet despite having been received, until I mouse over one of the other tabs at the top of the Market. The upper-most item in the list almost always has this happen to it.
  • Crafting an item seems to randomly bestow “Introduction to Crafting” achievement, even though I already have it.
  • Emoticons sometimes only show as white squares.
  • Sometimes, the Blessing icon will not show underneath my character portrait along with the rest of my buffs, even though I clearly still have the buff (as evidenced by the “Blessing +#” which shows up when attacking mobs. No amount of rebuffing it will bring it back. When this happens, it will continue to not show up until I either change zones, change channels, or relog.
  • Right CTRL doesn’t work. This isn’t the end of the world, but it is annoying. Sometimes I like to use right CTRL for a few things. For example, I keep my Klaipeda Stone on CTRL+0. It would be nice to be able to use that with one hand via right CTRL instead of needing to use two hands for it.
  • When I tab out from a whisper chat into a different channel, and then tab back into that whisper chat, its history is very frequently all erased, especially if I’ve changed zones or channels.
  • There was one time when the loading screen would not go away when I warped into Demon Prison District 2. I could move my mouse around, and tooltips for the various UI elements were showing up as though the loading screen wasn’t there, but it was.
  • There were a few times there when the “<” and “>” buttons in the Market changed into “-1” and “0” buttons, respectively. lol.
  • Whenever I change tabs in the Market from “Items for Sale” to any other tab and then tab return to the sale tab, it reverts to page 1, regardless of whatever page I was on previously. This is quite annoying. If I’m rummaging through a large list of items, I need to conscientiously take note of what page I was on before changing tabs so that I can return there after tabbing back.
  • Cannot purchase more than one shovel at a time.
  • My first time speaking to Druid Martinek for the quest “Old Seeds (1)” resulted in being unable to select any of its dialogue options, or cancel out of the conversation, or select to return to the character select screen, or logout. I was forced to exit the game and then reboot the client from scratch. I was using mouse mode at the time. The second time, when I tried again after rebooting the game, it worked fine.
  • The bottom row of 10 storage slots do not work.
  • When I’m trying to scroll up in the chat log, it keeps pushing itself back down to the bottom whenever a new message is sent into it. This even happens when I’m trying to hold the scroll bar in place with the mouse. This is extremely frustrating, and makes going back and catching up on chat virtually impossible at times.
  • The world map usually does not show up the first time when trying to pray to the Goddess Statue.
  • Alt+tab changes the chat channel, but tab without alt does not. I have no idea who thought that was a good idea, but it really isn’t. It ought to be the other way around. Tab without alt should change the channel, and tab with alt should not. It’s very frustrating to be required to readjust my chat channel every time that I tab out of the game and then tab back in.
  • The very small number of characters that can be inputted into a Market search is painfully limited.
  • It’s far too easy to end up with the “too many search results” error in the Market. This doesn’t make any sense to me, because I can do a weapons search for “crossbow” and end up with this error, but if I just leave the search empty, it will bring up all the weapons, including everything with “crossbow” in its name. This obviously results in far more search results than just “crossbow”, so why does this not get a “too many search results” error? Who cares if there’s lots of results? Let me see my bloody search. lol.
  • Chat says that people request to join “the” party, even if it’s not yours.
  • Health bars disappear from underneath players when your party enters an instance. They typically don’t return after leaving the instance either.
  • More often than not, the Adventure Journal will instantly close itself as soon as it opens the first time, and then I’ll have to re-open it. I don’t think it ever happened the second time.
  • Chat logs get wiped (except for the “All” tab) after changing maps.
  • SP costs are not listed in spell tooltips.
  • The arrow pointing into Sunset Flag Forest from Kvailas Forest reads as “Battered Flag Forest” instead of “Sunset Flag Forest”.
  • When you mouse over an item or a mob, its name only remains on screen for about a fraction of a second before disappearing. It usually won’t come back after trying to mouse over it again.
  • Sometimes, party/whisper/normal chats will spontaneously switch into what they read a day or two prior.
  • Items in Storage cannot be rearranged.
  • When in a UI window which requires scrolling (examples: Crafting window, Adventure Journal, or quest log) is onscreen, the scroll bar will not appear until you first use your mouse wheel to scroll a bit.
  • The item names for Wide Crossbow and Grand Cross are missing from their respective tooltips.
  • Forest Leather Armor is missing its description in the tooltip.
  • When trying to access my Storage, it would very frequently close immediately upon opening. Sometimes it would require upwards of 20 attempts before it finally would allow me access.
  • Chat channel (at least once - I didn’t continue to note the consistency of this) changed from shout to normal when changing maps. Potentially embarrassing. lol.
  • Mousing over a mob while already in combat with another mob only shows the moused-over mob’s HP and name for a fraction of a second.
  • There’s no splash prompt for quitting the game.
  • I once stood up from sitting, but my action bar stayed as the sitting action bar.
  • When I successfully sell an item on the Market, it doesn’t tell me what item it was which sold from whence I’m receiving my money.
  • Messages which show up in red text in the middle of the screen do not stay there long enough.
  • Macro commands cannot be brought down from the Macro UI to your action bars. We should be able to do this.
  • The entrance to Crystal Mines Lot 2 1F from Crystal Mines 3F does not show a green arrow on the map or in the field.
  • The first few letters are missing from the descriptions in many skill tooltips.
  • When investing multiple points at a time into a single skill, the top section in the tooltip which describes the effects of that skill at its current level do not change despite the number of the skill level rising, and neither does the bottom section which describes the effects of the next skill level. After finalizing the points investment, only then will the tooltip update. All the while, the number of the skill level is rising in the tooltip without the effects being updated. This problem renders the whole idea of showing you the effects of the next skill level to be redundant, as you cannot use it to gauge whether or not you would like to invest that point until you’ve already invested it. • The map for Uskis Arable Land is miniaturized.

Quest Related (14 notes):

  • When activating the Lamps of the Proof in Valius’ Eternal Resting Place, there is no character animation.
  • For the second phase of the “Hidden Treasures” repeatable party quest for Coben in Fedimian Suburbs, when the Zubeck’s Orb points to a location which turns out to not be the correct location, then clicking on that spot does absolutely nothing; no search process, no message saying there is nothing there; nothing.
  • Using Orb of Residue for the quest “Land Bestowed with the Goddess’ Power” in Uskis Arable Land made my face disappear, replaced by a vaguely shaped skin-coloured half-square thing which flits about when I would normally blink. Video: https://youtu.be/7iKoXYMmpn4
  • For the quest “Adapting to Circumstances (5)”, when trying to click on the altar’s former location to get the key, it kept saying that “there is too much interference from Naktis’ subordinates”. It wouldn’t work until after I dropped a heal onto its location… for some reason.
  • In the quest “The Planned Escape (1)”, my party member and I were pulled into a boss fight, the path was blocked by an invisible barrier on my end, and my party member attacked what appeared to be nothing on my screen, the invisible blockage then broke, and I got kicked out of the instance. I went to her location on the map, but it seemed that she was still inside the instance. She killed the boss in just one single hit, and my loot still showed up despite my not being in the instance. The boss music never stopped playing until I changed zones, and we both had black smoke surrounding our characters after the “boss encounter” until we changed zones. Apparently, the path blockage was not invisible on her end.
  • For the quest “Great Escape Portal” in Ruklys Street, you don’t actually need to kill the mobs in the “Military District”, as the NPC Sabina and the quest text calls it (but the map calls it “Barracks District”). You can kill the mobs right there in “Collapsed Trimphal Arch”, where you originally receive the quest.
  • After finishing the party quest for Saule to protect the crystal in Sirdgele Forest, the map note on Saule never went away.
  • Using the Obedience Stick for the quest “Old Seeds (1)” does not work if you are attacking (it gets overridden by the attacks). Subsequently, one must manually stop attacking before using it. If the target dies after a successful use, the stick can no longer be used at all, and the quest must be abandoned and reacquired. Also, sometimes I would have to press V about a dozen times before the stick would use, even though I wasn’t lagging at all.
  • For the quest “Rage of Souls” in Altar Way, only the southern-most altar works while in mouse mode.
  • The third epitaph for the quest “Research of Historian Explorer” does not tell me what it says; it doesn’t even tell me that it says nothing like the second one did.
  • Status effects induced by the plants while collecting dewdrops for the quest “Genuine Goddess Statue” in Forest of Prayer are far too brief.
  • “Monster Polluting the Sanctum” for the quest “Genuine Goddess Statue” in Forest of Prayer is only level 15.
  • Fake Tree Root Crystals in Pilgrim Path induce status effects which last far too short to even be worth mentioning.
  • There are many, many, many, many spelling and grammar errors in NPC quest dialogue. I have taken screenshots of about 99% of these, and will be posting them to a different forum thread. I’ll link to that thread here after I’ve posted it. It’ll take me some time to organize through all those photos though.

Mouse-Mode Related (25 notes):

  • Sometimes (especially at map edges), a spell will be cast in the exact opposite direction from where my mouse is.
  • Sometimes, when clicking on a mob to start attacking, my character would only attack once, and then I’d need to click on the mob again. Clearly, the click registered as a click, or else that one attack wouldn’t have even happened, so why on Earth would he just stop after the one attack? This one makes no sense to me.
  • Clicking on a dialogue option while speaking with an NPC will result in a move action to the spot you clicked underneath the dialogue if that choice is at the end of a conversation.
  • Similarly, when you press backspace to return to an NPC to hand in a finished quest and you have more than one complete quest and subsequently get asked to which one you would like to return, the character cancels the warp to move to the location underneath the button you selected. This will continue to happen over and over again unless you manage to get the button to show up over a spot that’s unmovable. Even then, the character will sometimes try to move to that spot, even though they can’t.
  • The whole “hold alt to immediately stop and hold still” thing doesn’t seem to work in mouse mode. Perhaps this is intentional, though? If it is, then disregard this note. :3
  • With a few rare exceptions, I could not move with the mouse when the map is up.
  • With a few rare exceptions, I could not move with the mouse through the chat log; anywhere underneath the chat log was essentially off-limits for mouse movement.
  • Clicks onto NPCs often end up clicking right through them, causing one to move behind them instead.
  • Trying to move my character in the Lodge is glitchy as hell in mouse mode, especially when trying to move leftwardly.
  • Feeding the Antidote to the Poisoned Monks in Glade Hill Road for the quest “Relief Assistance” does not work in mouse mode.
  • The two beehives in the southwest area of Liemen’s Fountain for the quest “Sweet Ointment (1)” do not work in mouse mode.
  • Portal to Demon Prison District 1 from Aquaduct Bridge Area does not work in mouse mode.
  • [Wings of Vibora] Lena in Klaipeda does not work in mouse mode.
  • The Seal of Rearda, and the Seal of Kasa, and the Seal of Rada (all three Seals) for the quest “The Key of the Night Star (3)” do not work in mouse mode.
  • Speaking with the Air Purifiers in Crystal Mine 1F/2F in order to receive the numbers for the password for the secret quest “Open Sesame” does not work in Mouse Mode.
  • Dievderby warp statue does not work in mouse mode.
  • The left-most pillar in the Tree of Faith area of Apsimesti Crossroads does not work in mouse mode.
  • All of the altars except for the southern-most one in the quest “Rage of Souls” in Altar way do not work in mouse mode.
  • Meile Oratorium Platform in Main Chamber does not work in mouse mode.
  • The fence to get to Kirmaleech in Tenants Farm cannot be opened in mouse mode.
  • Blackened Clue for the quest “Curse of Sloth - Siesta” in Pilgrim Path cannot be picked up in mouse mode.
  • Fires from Infroburks for the quest “Heated Arrowhead” do not work in mouse mode.
  • Mousing over a pet (whether it’s yours or not) results in the mouse cursor changing into the dialogue bubble which is meant for talking to NPCs. This makes it VERY difficult to attack mobs, because one cannot initiate an attack when the cursor is like this, and it’s very likely going to be like this, because your pet is going to be up in melee with the mob. This makes it so that pets just do nothing but get in the way, more often than not.
  • There are several more interactables which do not work in mouse mode. I did not take notes on these, but I did take screenshots of them. I will be posting these screenshots here.
  • Larger sprites (example: Secret Guardian in Royal Mausoleum) must be clicked on by their feet in order to interact with them. Clicking on the upper two thirds of their body will just click behind them, causing one to move behind them instead of interact with them.

Skill Related (14 notes):

  • Sometimes, after using Mass Heal, my HP immediately goes right back down again after restoring, and sometimes (rarely) it does nothing at all.
  • Many mobs which appear to be Demons (example: Elma in Demon Prison District 3) seem to be immune to Turn Undead.
  • There were many, many, many times when my character would cast a spell twice when I only wanted it to cast once. Many of us are key spammers when using our skills. It shouldn’t punish me by double casting a skill just because my key spam happened to press it once or twice after the spell first begins to cast. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t be able to press a key to prepare a spell for casting after the current one is finished casting, but just that the first few moments after the cast begins should not be the time to do that.
  • The mob Veliggy has Safety Zone, even though it can’t use it because it flies.
  • Res doesn’t always seem to work.
  • A Swordie used Take Down on me and dropped me into a warp to a nearby zone. It made me load into that zone; when I returned, he was still able to attack me, even after outright killing me, but I still couldn’t do anything to him. Other push skills seem to have the same result.
  • A Big Siaulamb once killed me right through my Safety Zone, despite the fact that I was standing firmly and safely inside it.
  • It very often occurs that when a frozen status expires on my character, I continue to be unable to use any of my skills as though I were either lagging or still frozen. When this happens, I am unable to use any of my skills until I get frozen again, and then that freeze expires.
  • Spells cast on slanted ground go right through the ground instead of slanting with it.
  • Cure spell doesn’t cure poison status. Although perhaps poison is a level 2 debuff. I never actually checked. If it is, then disregard this note. :3
  • I once finished a duel with a Deprotection Zone debuff on me, and it didn’t go away.
  • Flying mobs keep trying to use Heal squares even though they obviously can’t. lol.
  • Spell animations left on the ground (Heal, Cure, etc) will never go away if I use backspace to warp to an NPC while they’re still active. They do go inactive, they just don’t disappear. I don’t know if other people can see them or not. I never asked.
  • For many interactables (example: picking up a soul in Guards’ Graveyard), Safety Zone will not protect you from losing your progress bar, even though it’s preventing you from being hit.

Boss Related (16 notes):

  • In general, the bosses were far too easy.
  • Igniting Jack O’Lantern (first boss in 160 Dungeon) became inactive and stopped doing anything when it had around 15% remaining HP.
  • I was able to avoid almost everything that King Liverwort in Apsimesti Crossroads did by simply standing to its side.
  • All of Succubus’ attacks in Apsimesti Crossroads did next thing to zero damage.
  • Velorchard boss in Apsimesti Crossroads has no selection/targeting circle.
  • Chafer boss in Gate Route for the quest “My Ring!” did nothing other than cast Teleport four times, about once every 45-ish seconds or so, and otherwise just stood around and let me kick the crap out of him.
  • Summoned Poata boss for the quest “Last Warning of the Beholder” in Gate Route stops doing anything once it reaches around 10% HP.
  • Giant Wood Goblin boss for the quest “Route to the Gateway of the Great King (2)” in Dvasia Peak did nothing, and his lackey Wood Goblins did nearly nothing.
  • Mushwort boss in Sunset Flag Forest did nothing once reduced to about 25% HP.
  • Game froze once while fighting Beakaras in Mage Tower.
  • Attacks from bosses often land a hit even when they are well out of range.
  • Moa won’t gimme’ my monies. lol. :3 By which I mean that after killing Moa in Fedimian Suburbs, the money it dropped was unlootable forever.
  • Soggy Mushwort boss stopped doing things once it reached about 75% HP.
  • Mushwort boss in the Saknis Plains (a level 114 zone) was only level 1. LOL. It died in like, three basic attacks.
  • Tetraox boss in Altar Way did practically nothing.
  • Glutton boss is too large to reach his selection/targeting circle well. There are certain angles where it’s impossible to attack him in melee as a result. His selection/targeting circle should be made larger.

Generic Bugs (41 notes):

  • A friend of mine had everyone’s heads disappear except for the Market Manager in Fedimian; his head magically appeared while normally being headless.
  • People who die keep sliding after death, making ressing very difficult.
  • Dying in a duel sometimes gives no res options.
  • Trying to name my party “PartyQuests” resulted in “LANGERROR”, and I was forced to name it “PartyQsts” instead.
  • When you click on an item on the ground which must be cultivated for a quest, you can end up getting two items if you click on it again just as the first progress bar ends. If done correctly, a second progress bar will show up as the item disappears, and you’ll receive a second item at the end of that second progress bar.
  • Sometimes, a mob’s death explosion animation will fail to play, and they will stand there for a couple of seconds, and then they disappear instantaneously.
  • Stamina max value is bugged when warpping into Klaipeda, depending on what you had at the time. I didn’t get much of a chance to test it, but I think that the stamina max value gets stuck at whatever the current stamina value (not max) was when you warpped in. I don’t know if this happens with other maps, as I didn’t get around to testing it.
  • Icons on a region map such as NPC locations, quest area centers, or green exit arrows get “covered up” by quest area circles, especially at the edge of those circles. This results in not being able to mouse over them for a tooltip.
  • Klaipeda Warp Stone doesn’t seem to work half the time when trying to use it via a hotkey. However, this may be an error on my own part caused by the following:
  • Klaipeda Warp Stone’s cooldown shadow on its button icon disappears after loading into Klaipeda, so you essentially can’t see its cooldown time.
  • I was once disconnected in Namu Temple Ruins, and when I logged back in a few seconds later, I was returned to the Nuoridin Falls exit, from whence I had entered the zone, and approximately 0.2% of the exp for my level (167) had been taken away.
  • Sometimes, my HP just starts going up and down for seemingly no reason.
  • Sometimes, I randomly lose up to 25% of my HP for seemingly no reason.
  • Sometimes, attacks from mobs will land even if I’m outright behind the mob, and it’s therefore attacking in 100% the wrong direction to hit me, but it still hits.
  • I can have agro on a mob, and someone else will walk by doing absolutely nothing besides running on by, and the mob will sometimes leave me and start chasing after that completely uninvolved person.
  • There was one time when I did not receive my random hat after completing West Siauliai Level 100 Mission.
  • Sometimes, I’ll get disconnected, and when I try to log back in, it will tell me that my selected channel was too full (even if its population is only one circle), and that it will relocate me to a different channel. Sometimes it does relocate me to a different channel, and sometimes it still puts me into the channel I chose, despite what it said. But in either case, the channel I will have selected will not have been anywhere near full.
  • There was one time when all the sprites failed to show, and everyone was reduced to a pair of flying weapons and shields. Video 1: https://youtu.be/ewuaC6nW5nU Video 2: https://youtu.be/4gG534BNexM
  • Bleed damage makes my character stand for a moment.
  • Kepa Raider Magicians do not explode when they die. Instead, they just kind of blink out of existence after staying still for a moment or two.
  • The carving of many Dievderby statues seem to be missing several frames of animation.
  • When a mob is attacking and you move, it usually waits many seconds before pursuing. This is very frustrating.
  • Game chokes hard when switching weapons with alt+z.
  • Sometimes, I have to use alt+z three times before it will work. It still chokes with each usage of it, though, as if it were doing something.
  • Upon entering my lodge, my character would immediately start moving to the right without being prompted to do so, more often than not.
  • Hauberk’s energy form (Demon Prison) which floats around the character never once wrapped around to my front, but always circled behind.
  • The walk animation of Poisoned Tenant Farmers in Shaton Farm is unnaturally slow, even when considering their significantly reduced movement speed.
  • Sometimes, if I squeeze into a tight corner, the mobs will forget that I exist and stop pursuing.
  • I’m sure you’re well aware of this already, but there seem to be these magic spots scattered all over the world, wherein a mob will become unable to move, attack, or be attacked (infinitely dodging everything, for example) upon entering. Turn Undead still works on such mobs, however.
  • Mobs which I’m fighting will sometimes randomly disappear visually, but will still technically be there mechanically.
  • I had a +5 Sestas Mace on the Market. It magically turned itself into a +0 Sestas Mace (read as just “Sestas Mace”, with no plus). The next day, I took the item off the Market (because who’s going to pay upgraded prices for a nonupgraded weapon, right?); upon doing so, it turned back into a +5 again.
  • Sometimes, after picking up loot, the loot sprites will remain.
  • Something that I’ve come to call “the rising bug”. I’ll be running about, minding my own business, when all of a sudden, my character will start to slowly rise into the air. If allowed to carry on long enough, I can end up all the way into outer space (basically just so high that there’s no textures anymore). If I jump, then I will only go higher. But if I jump and move, I’ll fall back to Earth. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pm0qb_mY12U
  • There was one time when a party member of mine was melee attacking a boss from half a screen away, and kind of blinking all over the place. I don’t know how to really describe this besides calling it a “positioning bug”. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Xzp6qnN7eQ
  • Obelisk at Gavara Isolation District in Demon Prison District 5 does not work.
  • Obelisk at Scar of Fighting Spirit in Demon Prison District 4 does not work.
  • There were several other Obelisks which did not work, but I did not note them. I did, however, take screenshots of them. I will be posting these screenshots here.
  • The red energy animation that plays when fusing a gem does not show up on other players. This may be a result of low graphics settings, but this is the kind of thing that should still show up on low graphics settings.
  • There was one time when I signed in, and there were no surface textures on anything. Video: https://youtu.be/fEmg9MOz4xA
  • Spinning around while remaining stationary with shift right after doing the same with alt causes your head to stay in place as your body spins, resulting in heads being twisted all the way 'round.
  • Shadows underneath sprites don’t always seem to display.

Suggestions (32 notes):

  • It should be illegal to put a plus (+) in an item name.
  • The Market should have a “do not display this item/filter out this item” button in the search results.
  • There should be an option to see the damage from other players who aren’t in your party.
  • In the inventory window, please either move the Cards and Books to be below the Materials section. Or better yet, let us customize the order of our inventory sections.
  • When attempting to a sell a unique reagent to an NPC, it should display a splash warning asking if you’re certain that you want to sell this unique reagent.
  • Everyone who participates in the slaying of a world/field boss ought to receive EXP proportional to their participation.
  • There should be no such thing as untradable hats!
  • When viewing “all friends” in the friends list, it should show the online friends first, at the top of the list, rather than just all scattered throughout.
  • There should be some way to show health bars without also showing names.
  • There should be an option to show names only on mouse-over of players.
  • The maximum of 10 letters for the custom name of a crafted item is painfully limited.
  • I should be able to see the amount healed by my Heal squares on other players. Also, there should be an option to display all Heal values on all players, regardless of who cast the Heal, or whether or not they’re even in your party.
  • Dropping an item should make it fall to the ground so someone else can pick it up, not destroy the item (unless, of course, it’s untradable).
  • There should be some way to deactivate a pose without needing to move or jump. The first ideas for that which come to mind are to use the same pose again to cancel it, or possibly some kind of slash command.
  • There should be slash commands for poses, in addition to the pose menu which is already implemented.
  • The channel selected when logging in should be the channel that it tries to put you in by default for every map.
  • Spell tooltips ought to display the number of relevant reagents which you possess for that spell.
  • More storage space, plox. 100 slots (10 of which are non-functional) are not really enough.
  • It would be nice if I could open my inventory in the Market while in the first tab without needing to change to the second or third tabs in order to look at in my inventory.
  • Let us rearrange our items in Storage.
  • When purchasing multiple items with shift+rightclick, either have the count start blank or have the “1” which it currently starts at highlighted to start. Having to backspace that 1 is really tedious and an easy thing to forget. I go to try to buy 50 of something, and I end up buying 150 instead.
  • When mousing over a zone in the world map, let us click on it to lock the map onscreen so that we can mouse over the various elements of that zone such as map exists, NPCs, and active quests therein.
  • Klaipeda Warp Stone and warp scrolls should make you rise into the air the way Goddess Statues do.
  • There should always be at least 2 channels, no matter how few people are active in any given zone.
  • Please add a splash prompt for quitting the game.
  • When an item on the Market sells, it should tell you which item it was that earned you the coin instead of just showing you how much money it made.
  • Let us put macros onto our action bars.
  • The card game is atrocious. It’s not even a “game”, it’s just a coin flip with some arbitrarily selected cards that don’t even need to be there on a mechanics level. This card game needs to be completely revamped and made into an actual game. Maybe take some notes and draw some inspiration from Triple Triad from Final Fantasy VIII or Tetra Master from Final Fantasy IX on how to make a good card game.
  • You should either remove the chat filter entirely or give us an option to turn it off. The purpose of chat filters is to protect children (not that I think they need protection from language in the first place, but that’s a whole other conversation), but this game is rated T for teen. Children are not supposed to be on this game in the first place. It makes little to no sense to protect children which aren’t even here, and it makes even less sense to patronize the teen and adult audience by treating us like children for the sake of protecting children that aren’t even here (or at least shouldn’t be here).
  • Clerics should be given an Attribute that we can turn on to make it so that Heal squares don’t affect summons and pets (just like the Attribute we already have which makes Heal squares not affect monsters).
  • Let us customize our own control schemes.
  • Give us a key to hide the user interface so that we can take pretty screenshots without the UI cluttering them up.

Other (21 notes):

  • The client’s volume does not go down when I start a Skype call.
  • I think that Tree Root Crystals are a little bit too common. When you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a Tree Root Crystal, it makes the whole Stamina system kind of redundant.
  • I feel like the environments are a little small and claustrophobic. Almost everything is a narrow hallway. It would be nice to have some more open and sprawling environments.
  • Many zones (example: Laukyme Swamp or Roxona Reconstruction Agency West Building) are not nearly mobby enough.
  • This might not be a bug, but I keep getting moved back into channel 1 when re-entering Klaipeda, regardless of the channel I initially chose when I logged in.
  • None of the trees in Altar Way fade out when you step behind them.
  • Attacking stops when you tab out of the program or press enter to bring up the chat input.
  • I find the Gem system to be a little bit lackluster and uninspired when compared to RO’s card system. It’s not “bad” though.
  • Bleed damage doing only 1 damage per tick is literally as pathetic as it can get. lol.
  • Dialogue references to certain NPCs (example: Bramble) are inconsistent about their gender, sometimes saying “he” and sometimes saying “she” about the same individual.
  • I feel like the game world is a little linear. It would be cool if we had a little bit more agency in regards to choosing our own path. Although this isn’t exactly a huge deal.
  • I do adore the sound track to this game, but there are some times where it feels like it could use a little more “oomph”. This isn’t a big deal though; I could easily live just fine with the music just the way it is.
  • ALT+F4 doesn’t seem to work to shut the game down.
  • Friendly duels cause durability damage. Not cool.
  • In the quest “Antidote”, the Ranger Master calls the Hunter Master “he”, but she’s a she. Similarly, there was a quest where the female Cleric Master was referred to as a “he”, but I failed to document which quest or NPC that was.
  • “Unknown Soldier’s Memento” in Saknis Plains appears to have no use or purpose, unless I missed something. Or perhaps it was for a class advancement quest or something? If so, then please ignore this note. :3
  • All too frequently, I’ll run up to a mob and smack it in the face, and then run up to the next mob to smack it in the face, trying to gather up a group of mobs, but they just… don’t pursue. They just refuse to agro unless I stay right in front of them, and they just let me go as soon as I walk away from them. This is extremely frustrating.
  • After I have agroed a mob, if I lay down a Heal or a Cure, they’ll just kind of… wait… on the opposite side of it for the spell to expire before pursuing me. They’ll stand there for the full 40 seconds and wait out the spell. This is also extremely frustrating.
  • Tree Root Crystal has no birth animation. By which, I mean that it just kind of “blinks” into existence. It doesn’t grow out of the ground or do anything nifty. Y’all should do somethin’ about this. :3
  • Despite the name, Saknis Plains is not a plain at all, but rather a forest. lol.
  • Sorcerer summon pets are Heal hogs. As soon as I lay down a Heal, the Sorcerer pet just goes and takes it immediately, even if it still has lots and lots of HP (which it usually does, because they get stupidly high amounts of HP to begin with). They should not try to gobble up all my heals unless they’ve actually taken a significant amount of HP loss, and we should be given an Attribute that we can turn on to make it so that Heal squares don’t affect summons and pets (just like the Attribute we already have which makes Heal squares not affect monsters).

Those are some huge walls of text. Please keep in mind that the bug report forum is defunct since the game’s done a lot since iCBT2, many bugs have been squashed, some are still there including new ones, but suggestions are always welcome so long as staff members get to see them.

I know. But I put so much work into all this that I’ll be damned if it never gets out there. :V lol

Wow, great job with such huge feedback.
Guess it’s very likely to devs at the least take a look at all these, there’s a lot of detail on where and how the error’s ocurred.
Also bookmarked for later.
