Hi there. Fellow A3QS3M2 main, pretty lost and confused. I have so many questions.
What are your cards setup like? Your stats? I’m currently at 176 points into STR and 105 points into DEX. Have you ever regretted not investing in a rank of Falc/Scout? How do you manage the new content and mobs then without that utility?
Tl;dr help me use my Machine Gun build better. Duly appreciated!
Yup i have regreted not having scout nor falcon.
Scout is better on newer content in terms of quest/ sneak clear
Where as falcon excel better in aoe clear.
A3/QS3/Muskeeter 2 is solo a Single target destoryer. Pretty much a world boss destroyer. Only a little behind fencers and dopple.
I am specing more on Dex right now. Cards setup depends on your play style. I am more of a casting musk then AA now since Casting musk down time is only 5seconds and it excel bursting way more than QS auto can do.
Like for e.g A 3 sec combo from BS + CF gives you up to 1million + damage .
With 15 second odwn time you can just AA meanwhile or rotate skills like snipe. butt stroke + snipe + Cf + headshot deals up to 4m cap damage in 10 sec with 5 second cool down on CF and 10 on hs -> running shot filling
That is uncomparable with DCG + RS gem. You are not losing any damage on down time as RS (auto attack) scale with butt stroke. So it depends greatly how you play.
As for cards you can go glass mole / ella it’s personal preference. I personally banking on GL since i am converting to high dex

is volley fire good?
Bad real bad. Fake multi hits. Cap on 200k damage total skill damage. ( i am able to hit 60k with just 1 point)
I am specing towards head shot.
1 butt stroke
10 CF <-- with butt stroke nearly 260k
7/8 Snipe <— i am max damage with butt stroke on this. 199999
9 Head shot <— 2 hits with 50 attribuites i am able to hit 70k x2 consistantly
1 pens hot <— 17k x 3 with butt stroke or 4 (30 attr)
1 volley fire. <— 48 k with butt stroke (50 att)
Bird fall is meh. between bird fall and volley fire pick either one. I hope they fix volley fire to a true multi shot though…
maybe this is still bugged atm…because on their demo, it shot multiple hits on a single target.xD and this is on c2, so this should be strong…xD
It’s the same here. It’s 1 hit shown in 4 . Fake multi hits like seism…
Theres so far no fix in TOS KR on it. So assume it to be just for 1 point. Bird fall does not have attributes so yea.

How come covering fire can do so much damage, is there a bug or is it the strongest scaling with physical attack / strenght?
its a true multi hit 11 hits so effectively u can go up to 2.2m dmg

two of this skill not good like unicorn said. I just put it for fill while cd. and maybe dev of tos will fig out they make almost all skill in R8 got a fake multi hit. except mergen, sr… lol… right now in kr only cannoner got fix about fake multihit. musketeer still fake multihit.

Mergen will get better as R9 and 10 is introduce but… that woulda mean they will need to wait.
Circling + Mergen is still extremely good for now. Sr doesn’t need fix any more. It’s just nice. They trade in CD for huge AOE + damage.
Cannoner cannonade got fix. Smoke grenades are still their combo bnb. So if any one resist smokes or on bosses it’s an auto - 50% damage
all of that damage is before crit?

I am 100% crit. i can run 5 GL and gip my damage up by 50% + my weapon is not fully fix ( its just + 10 60% finisher)
will go higher as time goes
what u think with this new updates of gem… its better go full dex or Dex2:1Str ?(im arch2/scout/qs3/musket2 too) how much dex need for crit 100%?? the new gems its very better use red/yellow and put dex in stats.
well i have 2 stats reset and 2 skill reset potion, i need some help with my stats for my reset
i will most likely be running 1 red /2 red with 1 green.
Since it’s max attack and doesn’t scale to Transcend.
Crit rate is still superior in this case.
Ideally by 330 you will want to have your crit rate hitting the 680-720 ranges without swift step.
So you can just use monstrance scroll to boost up to about near 800 crit(having chronomancer is a plus and will cap your crit against all 100%).

I’m at 2str : 3dex invested
i was high strength until i see r8 lol …
about 2.5:1
from 240 i just pumped dex all the way so it eventually turned 1.25
