Since SR skills changed to [gun], I wonder if musketeer buttstroke is able to help their damage. If someone could test, perhaps @LunarRabbit with a friendie musket2?

Full draw has synergy wherein the non-target takes some large modifier of damage. For snipe it appears to be 3-4x. For headshot it appears to be 4-5x. It does seem to vary by skill but it’s hard to tell because of the number cap on damage (appears to just be 2x on all other normal physical attacks).

The shown number on FD/snipe (for me anyway) is always the (visual?) damage cap of (what is now) 199,999. I suspect this is a hard cap, because it does seem to do about 200k to mobs with more HP than that. Could be wrong though. (edit: and the new attribute + FD is all kinds of :heart:)

Not even close, the damage is halved, so you do even damage to what it would have been with one headshot. This is still better in PVP though (and threatening PVE mobs) because of the extra knockdown.

My snipe (dry) is critting without FD for about 86k. And my gear is garbage.

Agree on headshot damage, for lower damages.

If headshot reaches hard cap, headshot attribute gains a bit more value. Instead of one hit of cap, you could have two hits of lower damage but total exceeding cap. I am still curious whether it is a visual cap.

Around 0:17 she hits 144k headshot, if she did not half her damage she would exceed cap to waste 80k damage (if it is a true cap).

Do you have a sr friend, would you like to test buttstroke debuff + reiter new gun property skills?

If you wanna test gun work with musket C2’s butt stroke or not. Just ask some Musketeer C2 use butt stroke then swap weapon to use gun(sub weapon) we will know it’s buff for all gun damage or just musket weapon.
(I’m still musket C1 so I can’t test myself lol)

I am curious about the damage in video. With almost same attribute lvl, and all lvl 5, the total dmg of my CF and snipe is almost the same.(i mean CF 11hit and snipe 1 hit)

But i saw in that video, his CF get almost 500K total dmg, but snipe just like 250K(or kust 199K?) . So the point is, CF dmg grows up more fast than snipe? Just focus on the situation that CF hit at 1 target w/ 11hit and snipe with 1 hit.

His stat and skills:
100 Covering fire
50 headshot
95 snipe
30 penetration shot

Yes covering fire multihit is very strong.

BTW how to calculate musketeer/cannoner dmg already change. end up steady aim, butt stroke attribute are in T2 not T1. That why it will multiply with skill modify.

ex.
((base damage*glass mole card)+skill base damage) x (crit) x (T1) x (T2)

T1= skill modify
covering fire T1=(1+0.5)
T2= common modify (steady aim, butt stroke debuff, missile penalty)
ex T2 steady aim lvl 15, butt stroke = (1+0.2+1-(missile penalty))

Pistol works as well. edit part: for skills not sure will need ask a SR / Cannoner to help out in testing.

Xbow does not work.

woulda need additional testing with cannoner/sr though

CF can bypass 200k because it’s a true multihit. Atm from videos we can see that. Covering fire Goes up to 740k or more.

If you are able to cap it then it goes up to 2.2million per CF. This can only be attain with High level transcend + glass mole.

Snipe has a Hard Cap 200k (199999)

I wonder if reload for hs is a real cap or a visual cap.

IC then maybe it will work for every gun type of skill. if in the future we have one more gunner class(R10). then butt stroke will work too owo.

Still not as sure if it works with SR Skills or cannoner . Need to test it out. Will get back to you guys later in the evening when peers are up :blush:

Tested. Limacon is not affected, BUT all other SR skills that use the pistol is affected that includes Assault fire and Retreat SHOT.

If imc decides to follow their previous game, musket3 will receive musket&pistol stance and skills (punisher stance). Really nice to know buttstroke will double pistol skill damage too, makes sense now. Currently they take every tos musketeer skill from Granado. I figured once I saw Birdfall (same name on granado).

IKR i was expecting something like a double gunslinger muskeeter =X.

It seems that my guess was right Muskeeter feels like a stand alone class for a reason. I guess ranger/qs3 does not really matters infront… PVE wise circling is god send.

Cannoner is not affected. It seems like bow , cannon , xbow are all stand alone.

No wonder about cannon skill not work with butt stroke. I think they have different dmg type (ex smoke bomb work only for cannoners’skill. same as butt stroke work only for gun)

Yea Pistol and Musket are counted as the same type of weapon ā€œmachinery rifleā€

Bows are well bows, where as xbow is literally xbow lel…

Cannon seems to be under a different type as well.

Do note that if anything modify the properties of the damage it will not work.
So Limacon does affect the primary pistol property type. Causing it to not stack onto butt stroke.

I have yet to test it with enchant lighting. I do know enchant lighting causes your damage to drop on ā€œearth monstersā€
