🍄 Archer builds/ Skill synergies / Mechanics etc Megathread! 🍄

hmm…yes you can’t use running shot , deploy pavise , stone picking (that why I put 15 point to it) while mounting

could be annoying when I’m out of stone and in need to unmount and stone picking then repeat

maybe QS only synergize with Rogue and Sapper as you say, but I really wanna try something different since it’s beta

maybe Falconer !! Quarrel Shoot can be a helicopter support with machine guns (rapid fire) and stun grenade (stone shot) LOL !!

Haha, be our first black hawk mate ^^ bring the pain ^^

My version of fletcher build.

Archer - Explanation not needed. Probably very basic, You can give up on swift step on full draw but in my opinion, sometimes swift step can be useful. Situational.

Ranger - at circle 1 you can choose to invest barrage or high anchoring, For high mobility needed, it is best to go barrage.
Circle 2 max out as circle 1. Time bomb is not worth to invest as it has long CD and Fletcher skill will come in replace it.
Circle 3 max out steady aim and bouncer shot. Spiral arrow is situational skill and if you feel not like it, you can put the points into critical shot.

Fletcher - Barbed arrow & cross fire must max in both circle. Useful in all times.
At circle 1 you can choose broadhead or bodkin point, But if you feel towards bossing, go for bodkin point. Can remove reflect shield in some bosses.
At circle 2 you can choose magic arrow or singijeon. I put singijeon because sometimes can be useful to push mobs to side further. Situational skill.

I was going to go Archer C2 > Sapper C2 > Fletcher C2 for a PvE party with 2 friends who will be DPS Swordsman and DPS Wizard. But now I’ve seen this:

And I don’t know anymore. What do you think would be the best for said party? The one I said before, this Archer C2 > Quarrel Shooter C2 > Wugushi C2 or your build of Poisonus Hunter to have some nice bossing? Or something else, I don’t know, I’m lost.

I will play this build !

Haha, try them out mate the rates are going to be high apparently so getting there shouldnt be too hard ^^

I really like caltrops pulling mechanism, it has to be said ^^

Well I dont know if you follow the wugushi thread but theres quite a bit of additional feedback there if youre interested, I added a link in the OP.

As to the hunter - it really depends how responsive the AI is, last beta it was very bad so we’ll see I guess.

@lisakai youre going to have SP problems on early levels if youre not careful. Other then that be sure to give feedback once you test the build out ^^

Any notice/experience with Sapper Spike Shooter?

The description say X number of arrows, that means all the X arrows are triggered at once and only one time? Or one arrow will be triggered when someone pass the wire, being X the number of times this can trigger?

Could not find the information, but looking at the video the monster only takes damage once? So maybe 1 Arrow per trigger?

Nothing that I’ve seen other then the vid from the guide, sorry.

The problem with the video is if more arrows were triggered, we couldn’t see it since the monster die in the first one. Second, after the first trigger, the trap disappear. :frowning:

I guess we’ll have to wait for you to it C3 Sapper and test it for us! :boom:

What did he even level in Quarrel Shooter? I’m guessing he went Archer C3 and QS C1, but I can only see Caltrops and Pavise from QS in that video, so that’s 5 points left.

Any correction?

I still think I’m going Sapper > Fletcher but will be trying this out too.

From the amount of caltrop hits its definitely only one rank of QS. That would mean 2 ranks of archer and rest wugushi. Basing on level I’d say 2 ranks, it might be 3 already unsure honestly.

If 2 that means the aoe damage will still get a damage boost.

Judging on the autoattacks/oblique shot hits he’s a dex build. Low damage.

Thats all I can tell from the vid other then the fact that it looks awesome ^^

I don’t know if going for QS just for 1 skill is worth, seems like a waste. Plus in the Wugushi post the user says Wugushi C3 is pretty disappointing. The video looks good but isn’t Broom Trap and Claymore better?

I came up with this instead:

What do you think?

I made this burn build based on the concept of dealing “passive” damage on the enemies.I have wugushi c2 for poison ( obvious) an fletcher c1 for bleeding ( Broadhead) and burning ( Crossfire burn attribute).
I thought about picking Quarrel Shooter c1 instead of archer c3 for the spikes, that kinda fits the gimmick, but the fact that I would have to change weapons to make use of his others skills along with fletcher made me go for archer c3. I could choose hunter for the Coursing too. Here it is:

Now some questions.
In the matter of archer c3, I don’t quite know what I’m doing honestly, what are your thoughts about it? Should I go for Hunter instead? Would Quarrel Shooter worth it?
Bodkin Point, Barbed Arrow or both? I’ve picked Bodkin 'cause of the higher party synergy.(Forget this question, I put some more thought on it and realized that I can put just one point on Broadhead and the rest go to Barbed Arrow)

Has someone tested the burn attribute from crossfire? If so, is it any good?
Why can I change the color of the overheat ‘O’ in the overheat skills? Is it relevant?

Thank you guys and sorry for that many questions. English is not my native language, so I’m sorry for any weird mistake too

hmm that makes me wonder: what is more useful by comparison: 1 rank in hunter or 1 rank in Quarrel shooter when combined with wugushi? you get single target knockdown/ dps increase from hunter and ranged defense/ aoe aggro pull from qs

Ouch…

Falconer’s hanging shot can only auto attack confirmed by this thread

What do you think about my build? Wanted to focus on Hiding and Single target dps. Any critique would be great in helping me iron this out. :3

First things that come to mind are these: oblique shot on high skilllevel will eat through your sp like crazy and full draw can be instacast with level 7, so if you don’t want it for dps, you cold use the points somewhere else; my suggestion: swift step - you get 25% crit chance with its attribute and it helps with mobility, since we don’t have sprint and you don’t plan on taking Schwarzer Reiter.

only thing i would change would transform it into my own build, so i’ll stop there

Good point. Not that good with this skill simulator thing so any help is much appreciated. X3
