Mergen build and stats

Hi all would like to ask for ET and farming material which build is better

  1. A2SAP2R1Ro1FalcMergen

2)A2SAP2FL3Mergen

And also would like to ask for Mergen cast time reduction how much dex I should invest?

And how much CON for survivability in ET?

Last question, considering Centauros card x3 (6AAR) Vubbe fighter gloves (2AAR), gladiator band x 2 (2AAR) squire food (2AAR) we reach 12 AAR and with hair gear and new equip it can be even more (or just replace old like like vubbe and gladiator but with new random option we should be able to reach an important AAR rateo)

So i would like to know what you think if fletcher mergen with high AAR can replace falconer job? or i should skip fletcher and get falconer for better AoE potential? (Circling and capture make huge difference)

12 aar is the same as 2 boss and 2 small enemies, where as circling lv 5 make even the boss aoe def ratio become 1. And your surplus of AAR will be a waste of stat when you use it for world bossing.
I like 1st build more, because i am lazy to craft my ammo.
100 dex is optimal for my mergen. Mergen dont spam their skill, they wait for the right moment to clear screen the enemies

and if circling leave enemy with 1 ADR i don’t need some AAR? (still not justify 12 AAR xD but would like to know if i will need few point like 3-4) for 1 ADR and also circling resist?

is the circling nullification attribute good for make enemy don’t resist vs circling?

happen often that monster resist circling and make AoE fail?

circling nullification is for pvp, to counter enemy’s attribute listed in here https://tos.neet.tv/?q=nullification
1st build has more synergy, combo skill between job, falcon+mergen AOE is very destructive.
I tried both nonfalcon-mergen and falcon-mergen, falcon-mergen far more better.

I’ll stick on the 1st build and forget AAR for CR and other more useful stats.

only 3 things still not clear for me.

  1. if still happen that monster resists to circling?

  2. (example) if 20 monsters are all under the effect of circling (so 1ADR each) i don’t need any AAR to be able to hit them all?

  3. nullification attribute work like this? (example) if enemy is afflicted with circling debuff have a chance to don’t hit? honestly, I’m not sure if I got how it works. seem like from the link you posted all nullification attribute have a chance (if the effect is applied) to negate attacks?

Ah, and if you know something about Sapper could help me in skill distribution? if don’t no worry i have open a topic asking for help

another question xD parthian shaft with circling is not good? 3 AAR if enemy is under effect of circling is supposed to to good dmg… but i see always no one pick it

  1. yes, some monster can resist circling
  2. some circling combo like circling+multishot+homing arrow+triple arrow will attack all monster under circling effect
  3. some job has attribute to nullify incoming attack, falconer has a counter attribute to de-nullify it back.

I think the skill is supposed to be better than this. but still wondering if in a place like ET where are many monster stick at the same point if can be useful…

if only work like high anchoring that skill would be amazing (with a sort of explosion when the arrow hit)

seems that arrow hit for a very small hit box but in a line.

the vid is 9 months old but I never hear that this skill has got any better.

that is because no monster in pve has 6+ ADR against circling lv 5. i never tried it at gvg where someone can have 7+ ADR

No, i mean when 1 monster resist to circling what happen to combo like circling + hoaming?

if on 30 monster 2-3 resist to circling they are supposed to have 2-3 ADR (medium size?)

so you tell me combo work with all monster that has circling debuff, some time ago because of the monster with highest ADR get calculated first, (so before the monster with circling debuff) the combo may break.

And hoaming arrow cast time increase with lvl? And 100 dex point invested in dex? or with gear and cards? or they are plus?

100 point invested in dex.
Homing arrow cast time… never measured it but you can use it in the midle of casting for lv below 5.
resist circling doesnt have anything to do with ADR.
it always hit all debuffed enemies. Triple arrow hitbox is a wide line, homing arrow hitbox is a circle. Practice and you will get used which one is better to cast based on enemy positioning.
resist circling means enemy ADR doesnt get reduced.
circling lv 1 vs large enemies ADR 3= large enemies ADR 2

high STR, for dex depen on your ping, usually 100-200 ping cannot go more than 100 dex invested

Hello, @myself I was thinking about skip sap c2 cause the only good skill, in the end, is broom trap. And Mergen is just c1 so I think with time we will be rewarded with more AoE skills.

About the build, this is the one I was planning b4: A2SAP2R1FALC1RO1Mergen
but I’m thinking to change with A2R3FALC1ROMergen for better single target dmg. (barrage lvl 15 for a strong faint + barrage combo and spiral arrow 196x6 x 2 overheat is a nice burst for bosses and bounce shot is not a bad filler.

The other route would be archer 3 scout 1 (archer 3 is inferior compared to the dmg ranger 3 provide (steady aim give nice boost for Mergen skills and give more burst on WB) and scout would be only for map travel utility and some cc in solo farming but in terms of dmg don’t have much potential (flare long cd small area of effect without a falconer c3 with aiming)

what do you think about? is good build or I should just stick to A2SAP2FL3Mergen and follow the meta? will this build be viable for ET(R3) or will be better sapper one?

The success run of ET is depends on your static teamplay. If your team’s overall AOE dps is weak, you should stick with sapper2 route. But if they are strong already, then you can choose any other 2 build you suggested.
1st build has stronger DPS, the only drawback is feint+barrage melee range+when your HP is low
Mergen aoe is very strong, but the CD isnt short either
