[MAJOR COMPLAINT] Market now requires cash to use + trading removed

I’m wondering if they can’t take this route because of the public outcry what they will do to deal with RMT. How does Tera deal with it? Just a GM team?

lol what else are you gonna do?

whine in english to korean developers?

just sit back and calm the hell down, the kr community is also pissed, so let them blast imc

its better to blast them on both fronts so they cant take refugee on international forums. :smile_cat:

Maybe you didn’t know this, but this is an official forum by IMC. Staff members are reading this forum.

So what else are we going to do? Make this forum explode with complains that IMC sees it is not acceptable. This is not whining this is called expressing complains. You collect voices and make sure the target hears them. We can not go on street and demonstrate so filling the forum with posts about the new market change and making these explode with complains actually works.

Have you seen any posts from the IMC staff yet? Nope. They are probably to scared to touch it or not allowed to say anything to it. Maybe IMC hopes the angryness calms down which would show them that it might be fine. NO!

Actually I would like to pick up some pitchforks here and then spam create new topics about burning the new market/trade system down. Yes topics, not answers. Topics. Flood the forum with anger until the staff is overloaded busy with closing these topics down that they have to make a statement or better just reverse that change.

At least have the guts to show your opinion, not showing any kind of support to the kr community dealing with the problem is the same as not caring the same being done to you.

If this kind of restrictive cash shop sees the light, this game is dead.

It will always be better to spend 500€ on skins rather than 500€ to unlock basic community and social features.

What’s the point of straight out hiding any multiplayer feature of your mmo behind a paywall if not lazyness so they don’t have to think out better ways to bring in the cash. Not only is it lazy, it shows how much they don’t care about proper content being made while squeezing some money out from the player base with the basic features,

there are reasons they dont want to say anything yet, probably because they dont want to make any promises and break your feeble minds.

all this ranting is just pointless insanity imo, wait until the OBT and if its official by all means go insane and flail you keyboard at inanimate objects and scibble convoluted technobabble in your thousands of forum posts, in the mean time you should “build up” your to be or not to be released rage

seriously though they probably know by now what the general consensus of their player base is, no need to consistently annoy them and give them more “feedback”.

It’s not rage, but sadness.

The game has so much potential, even with the bugs, the flaws, and the linear content it had in this closed beta, the game is shaping really good, too good to be gimped by those kind of restrictive paywall features.

Even if the people dealing with the problem right now are not a part of the international community, they should be supported while trying to make a better game, because it can be better than what has been shown.

How so? It’s in the game for a reason.
Pretending not care and leaving it up to the OBT is just stupid.

Showing that you don’t like it NOW is best, so they don’t follow up with this change.

They probably?
Have you seen a staff member post something like:
“Clam down. We have seen your response and will forward it to the dev team.”
I haven’t, correct me if I am wrong.

On a serious sidenote, if the storm gets big enough it will be noted and might chance something. At the moment it is just one topic. Some got closed but one topic. If there were lots of topics and more rage it gives them to think and act.
I still remember the good old Diretide Shitstorm we had in Dota back then. It achieved something.
And to be honest the diretide problem was minor compared to what IMC tests about about the market right now.

we all love this game that’s why were all posting here

my only gripe is with people repeating whats already been said

everything that needs to be said has already been said

the majority of people dislike the change, that’s the minimum information they require…

people can go on and on about their dislike for the game, its all pointless, if people wanna rant then they should at least give some sort of constructive feedback, most of the time its just whining, no well thought out solutions or thought provoking tangents.

just mindless preemptive insanity. you can go ahead and report to them your emotional state towards the game but it worthless if its not backed up by intelligent thought.

didnt i just say that they dont want to post to make any promises?, catering to these raging hordes will just fan the flames if they end up not “delivering” in their eyes.

@yodish92
No offense but sorry boy, it seems you have no clue how the world and the industry works.

An official note that some urgend topic got noted is not a promise. But it is valuable as it means that it got noted at least.

Of course everything has been said already. It’s not like there is much more to be said than it is unwanted and should be removed. But this is not about discussing the topic it is about expressing a problem.
Ever thought why there are demonstrations on streets although everything what these demonstrations are about has already been said too?
It is to get attention to a problem. Just one topic with “this is not good” can easily be ignored by the executives.
“How much people were against it?”
“One or two topics. About 100 people.”
“Has there been more recently?”
“No.”
“Fine then.”
This is how meetings work.

This is netiher mindless nor insanity. We need to demonstrate against that change and if we can not even do that it might easily be implanted because as it seems here are still enough people who willingly accept everything as they are to scared or lazy to do something against it.
Normally I couldn’t care less about those people. But this is far to important for a game which I had hopes for.

we dont even need to demonstrate or anything, this is the internet and we are all in one place, they can see what the collective is thinking, im sure they are getting slammed by the kr community, and they are getting slammed by the international one too

all im saying is that most of the people that do this are doing it with the intent of getting pissed of just for the sake of it over giving feedback.

and please don’t get so mad that you have to make things personal.

Im ok with market need to use tp (also with duration), but they still need player trading though. Without that, can be rather hard to play

That… Developers are a mixed bag sometimes but most love their work they just like money as well, got to eat and if you’re talking about an American company the higher ups want their really big boats. So my take on it is this. If you’re not going to play the game because of it or you’ill only play temporarily that should be expressed. But you shouldn’t let your anger get the best of you. As the saying goes holding onto anger is like drinking a poison and expecting the other person to die.

Now that is all said… here is my feedback for the thread…

Feedback: I think I have a bit of a handle on how it works. I feel like this kind of transaction is forced on the me and unfair to me and the community. I do want to give you money but I’d rather it was a fair not something that will disrupt the community and make me feel like I’m being nickled and dimed for a feature that I get for free in most of my games. This goes for double for ToS since I want to make crafting classes and if this is in the game I will feel like I’m locked out of content because I’m unwilling to be charged for taking part in the games economy. I would go out of my way to avoid the AH as much as possible and at some point that will probably make me uncomfortable enough that I don’t want to play. My personal preference is spending my money on cosmetic and subscription that gives me conveniences but never direct advantages over other players. I want to feel good about spending my money not forced into it.

tl;dr I want to feel good about spending my money not forced into it.

Are you Korean? Can you tell us how the Korean players feel about this on the ToS Nexon forum? Thanks.

I don’t care about the “Market” but the “Personal trade” is a huge problem for me  i hope this is not permanent…

Please don’t do this IMC games! This is what killed diablo 3!

your concept of “killed” is quite interesting considering that d3 sold more than 30+ million copies and have a healty user base.

now on topic.
I get yodish92 point of view but you have to understand that devs reads these forums and we should keep saying our concern with the current changes so they understand and take them into consideration.

Although he isn’t wrong. Blizzard removed the P2W Market when Reaper of Souls was released, and admitted how much it ruined the game. It definitely “killed” what made Diablo… Diablo.

I am completelly against the use of icoins to place items on the market, and the
removal of the trading function.
The use of icoins to place items on the auction look’s like a cheap way of fixing the market
breaking issue, and removing the trade will turn the game like Grand Chase, where you could
not even give a gear that is not for your class to a friend, because there is no trade system.
