Alright, we’ll team up and run dungeons. And once you get the item that I need in your inventory 3 times and there’s no way to trade it to me, we’ll have a real fun time.
this is never been the case between guildies even a big guild in iRO like anymosity fcking share their god items, its only a problem to a retard that share their id or items to a random person
this is also false did you even play FFXIV? in FFXIV you could CRAFT a 1tier behind from BiS equipment. even though the requirement is quite expensive but as you know hoping a piece of drop in a progressive raiding is a stupid thing to do so most people in progressive guilds craft them anyway and the crafted item is also TRADEable, the only thing in FFXIV that arent tradeable are the gear that you pickup from bosses and the one you buy via quartermaster a.k.a using allagan currency and FYI almost every gears from raids or using “special” currency is always BoP since WoW Vanilla.
no one wants to grind out 375 coral reef to do the sign quest, you either farm it while you level or you buy it from people or ask your guildies for em. why would you grind mindlessly for a low level drop if you could farm silver better in other place? and also it helps the economy for the newbs so they could sell their shitty loot later on and catching up.
it also makes it difficult to help friends in any situations.
Oh no, i don’t mind your rant at all, i can completely understand where you’re coming from in terms of being a casual gamer and not having the time to spend hours on end grinding, and in that case, i do see where the problem lies.
I guess i am using my experience from other games to try and somewhat explain that it is not as game breaking as it may look. Either way, everyone is entitled to feel the way they do and have their own opinions about it. I am simply offering my assistance for those who may want it.
I’ve been on every KR test, and i can tell you that many of the players there also feel the same as you with the recent update, however some of them are also understanding that this feature isn’t as much of a large impact as it looks right now. I think at this point in time, as it still is in testing, we should ride it out and see what the results are on full release.
If you have any questions feel free to ask :3
more like 0.01% (or rather 2/10001 due to how Korean RNG works or at least worked in RO)
Cheers man your’e pretty cool have a good day
“I did not hear siren, they must not be coming”
They could be working on the server check I mentioned as being the core of the problem and making sure everything work before putting it in.
This might blow your mind, but there’s people still playing during those days and even to the end of beta.
These people for example.
2-3 days is enough to reach rank 4-5 so that’s at least another class they could’ve tried.
Which could’ve been done in better way with something like signature form after the first thread got closed.
To point back to the fire analogy (again)
This is burning more houses, when calling in to tell the fire department would’ve been enough.
If they are coming (fixing the bug), you’ve just made their job harder.
If they aren’t coming, eventually the fire will spread without you helping.
Done feeding the troll.
I do hope that the kr community gets to them before we have to.

I’ve played FF since 1.0 and i have yet to use the MB for anything other than Minions (collect those hehe), But in saying that, I’ve always been at a top tier ilvl and full materia stacks. However! it did take me longer to get there than other players who utilized the market. I always ended up with raid gear though, coil was hard for me at the start since i was only using gear i made on my own and stuff, but in the end it evened out.
What i’d like to point out is that IMC has been doing right by its fans since day 1, i mean they’re very good with communication, they update us on things they do on occasion and they also take our feedback very seriously. Just keeping it positive for everyone here. There is enough animosity out there, i don’t wanna add to that
So, answer my question, then. 2/3 of the players still playing was already high level enough to not care.
This analogy is already cringy enough.
So if I’m burning houses purposedly I have to WAIT for Fire dpt? Why should I?
If I’M the one burning houses down, it’s better for me if they take longer to come.
I’ll just burn more houses. Maybe one day the Fire dpt will learn their lesson and be faster to prevent me from burning houses.
That will most likely be the case and i do hope you weren’t referring to me as the troll ;-;
Nu. But don’t worry about animosity. We’re not going around saying that we hate IMC or anything. It’s just that if this were really implemented in it’s current form a lot of us wouldn’t be able to play the game. And that would be awful, especially after participating and enjoying it’s betas.
@rafa_gom_vic Don’t feed it pls.
kaaay
Only because you asked
Oh i see i see, i guess you’re right. I think for this community it would be better some slight adjustments should be made, and if everyone here feels strongly about trading in the nature that it is right now in the test, it should be accounted for upon full release. fingers crossed But honestly, from what i’ve seen, this community has many great characters in it and its very diverse.
When the 17th Comes ill jump into the KR test and may update you guys with some details as to whats going on. Just hope i get enough time to rank 7 at the least 1 class~
Stay cheerful guys ^^ holiday season is near~ <3
1.0 is the ps 2 graphic one its like 8 years or so? same time with RYL and Ragnarok golden age.
most people clear final coil turn 3 in myth tomestone gears with 1 piece soldiery, and some acc from the turn 1 if youre lucky enough.
and to be honest its quite good how FFXIV handle the gears distribution. the casual could grind it from dungeon, and the people on progression guild doesnt gimped by it. i still play it to this day but rarely log on because waiting for “another” “content”. you see grinding up vanity item isnt my thing so yea
well no one from imc till this day confirm anything tho (b-b-bbbut its holiday you shithead), and also removing trade is a BIG deal in this particular game yes?
Hey @arriorstar
I like the civil responses. However, I regret to inform you that your arguments have already been addressed in the previous thread.
It has been acknowledged that while certain games have applied trade restrictions in a successful way, this cannot apply to a game like Tree of Savior which is substantially different because of how things cannot be farmed at a reasonably self-sufficient rate like in PSO2, FFXIV and KMS.
As for the other people, this thread isn’t fanning flames or throwing gasoline or anything like that. Unlike exploits there is no point in withholding our disagreement until something bad happens. Acting early is better than acting late. If it turns out that this is a temporary change, good, nothing bad happens. If it isn’t, then thank goodness we voiced out early to sound the alarm bells.
There is nothing wrong with people voicing their displeasure in advance to protect something just in case.
Biggest blow to me was trading being removed.
Planning to make chemist on release. How would i give out potion to my friend then? How would they handle item awakening? if people cant trade silver to pay for it. Just buy already awakened item from the market?.
And selling potions gonna be a pain, lets see you got HP, SP, critical buff, block and magic amplification pots. After listing all these 5 potions it gonna cost you 10 TP. Good luck on selling those pots before someone list a better price then you and nothing was sold for that 3 hour while it was up. And i heard no TP refund if you fail to sell that item.
These changes will affect alchemist the most. Jews hating on jews man.
Not liking these changes at all.
The question on how it ruined the server?
If you look at those screenshots, they’re in Klaipeda.
Guess where the biggest crashes focused on?
Klaipeda.
If they can’t login to Klaipeda because all channels crashed, that’d prevent them from playing.
No, the analogy is you find a house on fire and hear no siren nearby.
In the case of people exploiting bugs - rather than calling fire department, or after calling fire department and not hearing siren in what they’d consider ‘fast enough’, they go and set more house on fire thinking that bigger fire = more attention.
Yes the fire got more attention, but also caused more damage and not to mention there’s no guarantee that the fire department wasn’t already on the way when the person decided to spread it.
I do suppose you’re right in relation to the type of game ToS is compared to those you also listed. I just hope that they do make the right decisions and act not only in their best interests but those of the community, Either way, I would like to think many of us here are in it for the longrun, even if we have to encourage change in situations like this
“I tend to dislike games where the competitivity revolves around grinding and rich players getting richer, only logging to buy and sell stuff (I’m not even talking about gold farmers here).” This brings back old memories, from when I played ROSE Online. I went from 10 millions to 10 billions in less than two months just buying all alchemy items I could find and reselling them for higher prices. I guess I became the richest player in the entire server. Nobody would believe me when I said I was a low level player… and I actually had to create a new account every week because after a few days nobody wanted to sell me their items anymore since they knew I would just sell them for higher. It was fun. More like a “merchant capitalism simulator” than an mmorpg. (NOTE: I never sold anything in ROSE or any other mmorpg for real money)
But I doubt ToS could be like this, due to the fact you can only sell each item once before they become untradable… there are already many limitations to the economy expansion right now that are supposed to protect the economy (and I kinda believe they would work). I don’t see the need for this TP requirement. Selling/trading is becoming so hard nobody will actually bother doing that except for high level stuff. Looks like IMC is trying to finally kill the MMO part of the genre once and for all, even more than they did with the linear quest system.
I do agree that without this system the economy becomes more vulnerable against gold sellers. BUT, it doesn’t make sense to destroy the entire multiplayer thing to solve this “little” problem. Or, from another point-of-view, destroy the entire economy just so the players can’t do it themselves.
If there will be limitations like this, at least with the rules that PSO2 set, I would gladly approve, since I have no problem with it. ToS players should at least be able to buy things with their hard-earned currency. I don’t want buying to be limited at all cost.
