You’re right, I am just thinking in a sense of helping the AA part as much as I can. From a dps perspective, I believe the damage boost and attack speed boost from maxing kneeling shot would the be strongest option.
Not sure, not sure. First of all there is a lot of time when you can’t sit on place.
Also imagine all this increased crit chance from rogue on bosses? Well as least if you’re building mostly STR.
Also kneeling shot 10 vs 5 is almost about attack speed only, raw damage boost is almost 0 (52 vs 31).
Also running shot have CD, and while it is on CD you can use other skills and here crit helps a lot too.
Well unfortunately most of our dps boost options are situational. Can’t always be behind the boss either, and if you could chances are you could be sitting with kneeling shot.
If we really wanted to max out the AA, could get both sacrificing the R7 picks.
Atm I weapon swap grand cross allowing me to up the running shot time, if I can manage to get the Deadborn Scap gem, I could make it to where I only have 7 seconds before running shot is back up.

So for full AA + musket (ARC3+QS3+M), stats should be: STR 4:DEX 2: CON 1?
What about leveling ranks order? Should I max Archer to c3 first, or get QS c3 ASAP? or maybe Archer c2 then max QS c3 and finally archer c3?

As for ranks order it is A1-QS3-A3.
As for stats… Everyone have its own opinion. E.g. DEX could be 0, and so little CON could be not enough. But general line is around 4:2:1.
btw does anyone know if running shot works on mount?

I’m in the same boat; having a hard time deciding between Cannon or Musket.
With QS and Archer being good single target, I think I’m leaning more towards Cannon for their good AoE which is where I’m hurting the most. You won’t have to worry about swapping to your Grand Cross/Didel for Running Shot as you’ll always have it equipped. You’d have your cannon in one slot, and probably mana-mana in the other.
As far as stats go I’m doing 1.5 STR : 1 DEX, with 40-50 CON.
I’m happy to see my influence has grown

I used level 6 gems for my math because the exp for gems higher than that is pretty steep. Rank 4 to 5 is 10800 exp and tank 5 to 6 is 43xxx exp. Those 2 levels alone total to 55000ish ezp…or 550 talts/gems at 100 exp each.
That said, i just put a level 5 green gem into my Arde. I figure I’ll be using that for a while, so might as well get a decent 29 crit for it in the mean time.
is it really necessary to go for archer 3? a was thinking about going for Archer 2, QS 3, Scout 1 then musketeer.

Sure is. Looks good for PVP.
One of the main reasons I’m hesitating to write my own section for my guide was because of the A3 decision. I really want to research some of my concerns before making that decision since circle decisions are so big.
Things that are concerning me at the moment is:
Whether level 10 Kneeling makes a big difference vs level 5 Kneeling
Whether Multishot scales at all or if it is all base damage
Whether Multishot gives additional hits per hit
How often I would even use Multishot late (takes forever even with attribute to charge)
Those are weighing on my mind atm. Falconeer for Circling seems so strong to me. The biggest benefit that I’m sure I would love from A3 is only Swift Step uptime.

Running Shot skill gem is obvious, you’re looking at something like a potential 33 second buff time and +360% damage. I think that would be worth farming for, once you have a Didel Grand Cross to put it in.
I feel like Multishot’s true value to a Musketeer is its interaction with Circling. Falconer covering for our massive AoE gap makes it really hard to not pick it up. The only argument I can see swaying me to A3 is the range bonus from Kneeling Shot 10, if it would let me sit out of the range of most boss AoEs then it would be a fairly significant boost.
