So isn’t that the build you guys were talking about earlier here running in a high lvl dungeon party?

Archer C3, QS C3, Musketeer

Dunno if the damage numbers are good or not.

Numbers looked pretty good to me.

Seems like they fit in quite well, was able to pick off any left over mobs very quickly that didn’t die to the already enough of AoE others provided. Was able to do some AoE with covering fire and Sniping linked targets. High HP targets drained away pretty quickly with all that attack speed.

Also, did that mob just drop an Exp card at 51? We can grind those? lol

Yes I was also wondering about that exp Card.

In regards to Musketeer as a class, the fact that you can’t use quite a lot of skills you pickup earlier. However the weapon swap does negate this, aslong as you keep a good second weapon handy.

The majority of the video is kneeling shot, multishot, snipe, Running shot and Coveringfire, while keeping swiftstep up all the time. Bascially as much range DPS as possible.

It looks really group depending to allow for that playstyle. I wonder how this plays solo, since the QS closerange skills are present on his/her bars.

So what’s the best status to put points into…
Looks like the musketeer in the video is a full dex one…

I think a full DEX or heavy DEX stat alocation should play into the Kneeling Shot bonus and the high base dmg values of the Musketeer Skills.

But I think that lvling a Archer C3, QS C3 Musketeer must be really hard early on and start to even out as raw dmg gets overtaken by crit. But that’s just a guess and not based on any expierince.

Yep, mobs now have a (very) low chance of dropping EXP Cards.

Why is full dex better than full strength for this build?

Full DEX is never bettet then full STR in terms of damage.

Though high DEX(hybrid) may be better then full STR/high STR. But it needs calculation.

Because of kneeling shot gaining atk from DEX i think a high DEX build should work on this one.

Bonus damage from dex is not very high, str will grant much more damage and don’t forget that running shot bonus damage can’t crit. So building full dex is overall less efficient. Hybrid is much better.

Why running shot bonus damage can’t crit? According to damage formulas it is a modifier applied after crit.

UPD: hm, checked formulas again… Is it “Bonus Damage” in the end of formula? If so, is it based only on base attack or something else? (like extra elemental attack or something)

So to what point should we get DEX than? 2STR:1DEX early on and at a certain point more STR?

Has nothing to do with the animation speed of the weapons attack it’s all about the attributes. I went to 200 Archer C3 QS c3 in iCBT I saw maybe 2 or 3 other Archers play how I did swapping weapons multiple times depending on what we’re fighting.

You need both types of weapons yes maybe not as much after R7 but for the MG builds you should be swapping depending on what your fighting because of the weapon attributes hence xbow on bosses.

for people who have played DnF DFO or any version of Dungeon Fighter of the past would know how Gunner was specifically Ranger.

Archer and it’s autoattack build are very much like Ranger looks nice in all these videos but they not showing you all the in game currency and time it takes to continuously upgrade gear and or attributes, let’s not forget about ping in iOBT people said chronomancer attack speed buff lv5 did nothing for them which I’m pretty sure had to do with their pings but it was clearly visible for me when I used it.

So for all you future dissapointed archers who can’t attack as fast because of some graphical or network latency issue or aren’t hitting as hard as expected because you ignored all the upgrading; crafting; and farming it takes to become what you see in these videos.

I emplore you to not foolishly spend your currency early game as specific venues are recommended in the beginning using your funds to further your advancement first is a good idea, like all MMO’s etc as you level you will aquire many funds in a post haste like fashion. Patience.

TLDR: MG builds = DnF Beta era Ranger: upgrading; crafting; farming more than any other build or class; consider latency issues that effect all classes Archers the most.

EDIT: Ranger change is not a nerf it’s 3%+ not 3+ meaning 45% not 45+

STR:DEX:CON 3:3:1 or 4:4:1 always, if you are QS.

ONCE you have total CON around 60-80. your HP at lv280 should be getting around 12k-15k.
each 10 STR will give you 1 STR bonus.

I doubt you should go STR:DEX 1:1. STR get 10% bonus from each rank. So at rank7 it will be 60% bonus.

Crit rate could be boosted a lot from gems. Accuracy could be found on a lot of gear and gloves. So actually you are not really need a lot of dex.

So maybe 2:1 STR:DEX or even more str.

I really want to play with archer especially this machine gun build, I like it a lot but needs to be a decent ping right? 160ms is good for this build?

Imo 160ms seems very risky for this build.

I’m not sure how exactly network code works in ToS, but this model seems reasonable to me:

  1. Client send first auto command
  2. Get response from server with cooldown for next one
  3. When cooldown passed, client sends command again
    and so on

So basically ping adds delay for every auto. If its true that 3 attacks per second is possible, each ones cooldown would be around 333ms. So 160ms is like 50% more. If you compare 160ms with 50ms - second one will deal 30% more DPS.

I don’t really see the sinergy with Wugushi, can you explain your thoughts?

At first I thought it was for Wugong Gu and hitting fast to spread poison. But it seems that the skill doesn’t scale and the AoE is really small… so I’m confused. Am I mistaken?

I wanted to play Archer > QS 3 > (dunno what) > SR 2. And I was wondering what the best would be between Rogue and Wugushi (because nothing better?). So I’d really like to hear what you have in mind.

There’s poison needle for single target dot.
The wugong gu, as it will spread damage while you do retreat shot. As long as they sruvive long enough.
And the apply poison skill is nice.

But i just took that in there. As there’s nothing much i could think of too combo sr with. (After QS3?)

Atm … i have finished up my 4 builds i will do first.
A sapper kind.
A beastmaster kind.
A tanky sword.
A semi-tanky cc heavy feahterfoot.

It’s now 20% after post kToS nerf.
