Low-rate is perfect!

Its closed beta now, imagine open beta with the current rates, how many people or party you think will grind on the same map? Not everyone have time to grind like all the lifeless out there. There are alot of people need to go to work.

Let us have ONE hardcore grinding game.

Who is this “us” you speak of? I hope you realize that by reaching 90 you pretty much confirm with a shadow of a doubt that you are not the average member of the public nor playerbase.

Do you know the max level of this game is not 99 but 500 right?

just give up on these guys and let IMC games do their work

Truth is, these days most people dont care about what others think. I am one of these persons, i say whatever i want, when do whatever i want…

I dont wanna reach level 99 for glory, in fact… i dont even wanna reach level 99, that is just gonna be a BONUS.

But i am a mmo fan, and to me a good mmo is like a “fine wine”, even better… a diamond. Imagine if diamonds were very easy to get? It would be boring, same goes for mmos. In order for me to enjoy it to the fullest, it is gotta be hard.

Dont worry, everything is gonna be fine. I am sure syKIM has a good strategy.

i think so. i like low rate too.

It took me 1 month to go from 1 to champion transclass. I was the first 99 of my server though. Also I did that in turtle island since we didn’t have bio labs yet ( it was heritage release).

Nice suggestion man! like true Ro1 player XD grinding was the main thing, no sidequest or mainquest, just go wherever you feel you wanna go, or go with the groups and grind with them… good ol days’

Probably medium rate would be the best…

double flag ? yo the boss man!

My hope is end-game content should be accessible only with human interaction/participation.
Maybe it should hard, must be in party or whatnots.
Because this is where the bots that will ruin the game come from.

There’s still a good-purpose bot though.
For example, I can’t imagine if there’re no bots for farming WoE supplies in RO.
I’ll not continue the talk about the leftover supplies here
But it’s a product of a failed game design. Their design is not future-proof.

I don’t care about low rate or high rate.
As long as the class and the economy is balanced, I’m content with it.
I just want to play for fun i.e. I don’t have to pay overly huge amount of golds or play specific class to access all main game content.

Sorry to break to you buddy, but ToS economy is no where near balanced. The developers don’t know it yet, most of the players don’t care for fixing it saying all the time that: “Its great, it’s perfect!!!”, but it is a high rate economy money won’t be worth much in no time. And people will only open their eyes when is already too late.

How do you know this?

You think they aren’t testing this and people aren’t telling them whats wrong and whats right in the test server? They are gathering data all the time.

Did you play the game enough to understand the economy already? As far as I know the highest level player only got 107, the economy was barely touched, the auction house was pretty broken during iCBT too.

Low rate is perfect? Did you play any other rate? How do you know all this?

Also 16 days later?

Dude, haven’t you follow my threads about the economy and other stuff? go there and read what most of the players say, they just don’t care for change, and just don’t want people saying that the game is missing stuff.

Low rate is always the best opition, i played the game and i think the current rate is waaaaay to high. Money comes easy, the items and equipments are not desire material, but if i go out there saying that something is missing, people would wanna have my mouth shut and say the game is perfect as it is.

Perfect for what? 2 days playing? I am always thinking at the big picture, the game should be at least a 1 year material.

But how many days did you play?

There is a test on the Korean server for ~month, and probably will go on for much longer, the economy is something that’s being tested and tweaked there as well. So are you basing everything you’ve said on every thread you’ve posted in, on your iCBT experience?

Keep in mind iCBT is not only x1 exp, but x1 money, and no one got around to boss farming and actually using and test the economy extensively.

It seems really unfair to base any opinion on an economy, that’s actual doing fairly well, off a short iCBT where rates aren’t even official yet.

I’m not saying your wrong in your opinions, just that now is not the time to formulate one on the economy, unless you did extensively test it over a long period of time.

Look, it was way too easy to get money and exp on CBT 1. Seriously, way too easy. How can you have a healthy economy if money is too easy to get?

How was it too easy? You received money from mobs alone.

Questing didn’t give you gold.

Money is relative, I see you mention high numbers in a previous thread, but 10g in one game can be 1000g in another game, and still buy you the same goods, just a larger relative number. If inflation hits, that 10g can be 100g, and that 1000g in the other game can be 10000g but its all still relative.

How much money did you earn in CBT 1? What could you buy with that money? Did players set prices on items based on a long term economy? (They didn’t, it was a short cbt, so it was more than likely random prices, based on a players personal value over a short term period).

It seems really baseless if your formulating an opinion about a game economy based on non-official rates from a short beta phase.

You know what? I am didn’t called that EASY at all.

Maybe for you ,but not me. :disappointed_relieved:

Dude, everyone is just like you, saying that is nothing wrong with the economy.

But let time decide who is right or wrong here. I just hope this game turns out to be a great success. But if it doesn’t, i did my part posting the things i see wrong.
