Lack of slowing in archer tree

I understand there are some skills that slow and stop, but my biggest problem is that sapper doesn’t have a traps that “trap” or even slow.
I feel they should replace Collar bomb or Spike shooter with something like a bear trap like the classes symbol, i feel it would also complement the Conceal skill alot.
It could work like stockade

Jaw trap
Physical - Pierce
overheat - yes
Attack - ###
Stun/stop - 3-5 seconds stops movement not attacking
comsumes - wood/trap
sp: ##
Attributes incease damage and stun time.

i feel it would be nice for pvp and pve, were you could through out 2-3 at a time to trap them then have a claymore there all concealed ready to blow.
could use broom trap then use them to trap them in it or just detonate trap on enemys that get stuck.

If sapper alone could do that the class would have too much of an edge over others.
You cane asily get this effect with the right build and aprty composition anyways, but still.

I feel like sapper has no real power in pvp, and you have to kite people through your trap which there not going to do. giving sapper no edge on anyone really. and if you replace spike shooter with it then you still have to go C3 to get it.

Full draw works as u said

Boy I’ve seen Sapper pull some BULLSH*T on PvP, it’s all on the players.
Spike Shooter is probably one of it’s better skills if you ask me becaue of the ammount of hits it has, and this IS Tree of Multihit after all.

I totally agree with this. The sapper should have an actually bear trap style trap. However, this would make the sapper class too strong. They should add something like this and then rebalance the class by reducing something else.

You dont even need to be a Sapper to slow enemies. One point in Oblique Shot and the attribute (Slow) and you can slow down as many things as you want, whilst Swift Step is active.

Sapper still hits pretty hard compared to other Archer branches. Giving them another CC would just make them pretty stronger than they already are. PvP-wise, if you play the opportunist you can get some pretty good hits in. Otherwise you’re that guy that blows up all of your enemy’s AoE fields. Detonate Traps is pretty evil.
